I didn't see all the movie. It had already began.

Al Pacino and the other actor's performance kept me connected. We can see all the drama in their faces.

Like all American films this is a moralist movie. Here we can see the value conflicts. The bad conscience invades Pacino's face and it's used as an arm to help the altruist value to win, sacrificing the person. So dead comes as a peacemaker to make all things to end well.

I have nothing more to say. This comment is to justify my vote and the inclusion of "Insomnia" in "My Movies" list.

I only saw the last minutes of the film. It´s not my favorite genre, but after seeing "Blue Velvet" and Quentin Tarantino movies I begin to believe there is a new style I call hiper-realism. The piece of the movie I saw, it was like poetry to me. We could see the scenes better than the reality and understand what happens as if we were inside. I enjoyed the lesbian relation because it helped me to see it natural. There is a magic around Christopher Walken and what he does.

It´s dificult to describe what I mean, but we need much more movies like this one to teach us again, not how to think, but how to feel. People must learn how to feel because they don´t know any more.

I am a Marco Ferreri fun, this superlative movie has Ornella Muti still young - she became my number 1 for years. I saw it in 1977. I must see this film again with more 23 years on my eyes. Recently I saw "L'Inconnu the Strasbourg" and I felt in love with the new "charm" of Ornella Muti as a mature woman and I cried of happiness. I hope to see her again soon.
