I must admit I wasn't expecting much when I first rented this movie, but the concept of a metal covered werewolf is a unique twist on an old story. Also the effects were very good. But if your not into werewolf movies then you may not like Metalbeast.

+ CONCEPT (I always give kudos to an original or a new twist on an old concept)

+ CREATURE EFFECTS (The Metalbeast was just plan cool)

+ ATMOSPHERE (It has spooky atmosphere with substance)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (- MISSES)

• SLOW (It has several places of slow peroids while they build up suspense, a little too long at times)

And Finally:

• FAN BASED (If you are not a fan of horror or werewolf movies then steer clear of PROJECT: METALBEAST)

Bad. Really bad!! But it's not one thing wrong with it; it's many, many little things that turn this into garbage. The acting in this film was very good. But if the Captain had a disease like malaria then he should have been in a hospital and not on this trip. The goofy effects and dinosaur costumes were just lame. Now I know what the people who like this movie are saying to themselves. It's 1948, give them some slack, the technology was around. But take a look at King Kong of 1933 and tell me they could have done better if they tried.

Well, although it does stand on it's merit as a good slasher movie, all the elements are there. However, there really isn't much different then the first movie. Teens looking to overcome fear. A out of the way cabin, finding the wooden man, his name is the same as the first movie. When it's clearly a different character. I GIVE IT (7 STARS) ******* ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+ HITS)

• NOTHING NEW (It was practicle the same as the first movie)

= WEAK ENDING (Without giving anything away, the ending was tired and predictable)

THE PLOT:

When beautiful Bulma searches for the mystical Dragon `BALLS'. She meets young Goku, who was chasing after the goons who kidnapped his Grandfather Gohan for his 4 star Dragonball. Joining forces Goku, Bulma, Yomcha and Oolong vow to collect the remaining Dragonballs and rescue Gohan from the forces of the evil King Horn.

THE OPINION:

This has got to be the WORST dubbing in the history of foreign films. Like they changed easily pronounced named like Goku and Bulma. Plus they changed the name of the Dragonballs to Dragonpearls. What the hell was that for? Did the American movie company the American people are that stupid to think of live Dragon Testicles? Aside from the bad dubbing, the original makers blew it big time on several key points. Like Goku's Grandfather Gohan was dead when he meets Bulma. Plus he was called `MONKEY BOY' because he had a tail. Plus for 1989 the creature effects could have been allot better, even for a Chinese film. I GIVE IT (4 STARS) ****

ON THE POSITIVE SIDE (+HITS)

+FLYING (The overall combat scenes were very good)

+ENERGY WEAPONS (They didn't forget the Kamahamaha wave)

+LOOK (The Dragonballs looked just like the cartoon)

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (-MISSES)

-BAD DUB (The VO was just awful, Monkey Boy instead of Goku, and the Turtle Hermit instead of Master Rôshi)

-PLOT HOLES (Goku's Granpa Gohan was dead)

-NO TAIL (What happened to Goku's tail? It's not like a tail is a hard effect. They did it in the Wizard Of Oz)

and finally two words:

-DRAGON BALLS (When did Dragonball become a bad word? It's in the freakin' title for crying out loud)

This is a evil, ugly film. Not only do the makers think we're stupid having one body double for seven girls. (like we couldn't tell). But the moral is sexual morals or die. This is a piece of dung and should be burned!!!

Two cops must find a serial killer out to blow away men. It seems to be connected to a 1-900 operator. I'm sorry, I can't believe that anyone could fall in love with a voice. Some stupid S&M fantasy. The whole thing stinks to high heaven.

This movie is so bad. One thing is this movie called "Carnage: Legend of Quiltface" or is it "Carnage Road". If you look closely. You will see that for some small changes it's a copy of "Camp Blood". Which stinks by itself. Not to mention the rotten ending. A horror doesn't have to have a bad ending just to be a horror movie. It's jsut sloppy writing, just to have a mess of sequels. Here's a hint. If it's made by "Brain Damage Films" then I pass if I were you.

This is the most unbelievable movie ever made. I can't believe that a nice person would become a murderous ghost if they die without being prepared. The atmosphere is scary. But without realism and good acting atmosphere alone is not enough.

I think this is a fun filled Power Rangers Movie, with only one or two tiny mistakes. When Zedd And Rita find the imprisoned Ivan Ooze. He takes over control of Zedd's palace and sets a plan into motion to make the parents of Angel Groove to unearth two giant monster robots. The CGI Zords were too bright.

I know what cancelled this show. The lack of Flash's rogue gallery. True, they had Captain Cold. But where was his outfit. If they didn't spend a freakin' fortune for 8 Flash costumes, they might have had some villain costumes. I liked it and watched it until it's bitter end. But that's why it failed.

When acondemn warlock Walter Machen's monstrous creation is resurrected by Grave Robbers, the Kelly family and the entire town is in danger. Unless one little boy can find a way to kill what can not die. Cool monster, cleaver writing, the acting could have been slightly better. But really, really cool!

If you like George Romero's "Night Of the Living Dead" and Lucio Fulci's "Zombi". Then you can't miss Tombs Of The Blind Dead. The unrated version is the best. It has the best effects I've seen in a zombie movies and the best writing. It loses one star from the grade due to the end which I will not give away. But the three sequels make up for it. Look for all the Blind Dead movies.:

It starts out on an alien chain gang, stock footage from another T & A movie, the name escapes me at this time. But the monster is fairly descent. The plot has more holes in it then Swiss cheese. But it is entertaining for men. For obvious reasons. My rating.

This is a major league suck fest. You don't give a rat's butt about the characters, the story and the acting was abysmal. The effects were cool, but effects along can't save a horrible, horrible movie.

You have got to see this foreign film, the concept is a company genetically crossed a octopus with the DNA of a prehistoric shark. Now it has escaped and is terrorizing the boating community. The heroes only has a certain amount of time before the DNA multiplies and spawns into hundreds. The plot is major weak, the acting is not Oscar caliber ether, but the great effects makes up for the lack of story and acting.

I just wanted anyone who reads this movie. The plot is alittle weak and the acting is less then perfect. But the one thing that makes this movie worth while is one major league cool shark monsters. A company crossed an Octopus with a Prehistoric shark and got one mean fish. You're not even safe when you are out of the water. The nudity of the movie helps it to. My scale from 1 to 10 stars (10 being best) is 6 Stars. ******

The speical effects of the Blind Dead movies are the greatest I've seen in the 1970s. Even better then some of the movies made by Hollywood at the time. The story is a tad on weak and some of the characters are as likable as a dentist drill but still I for one am going to buy it on DVD. I give it 8 out of 10 stars

If you want a typical Western shot 'em up. Then rent Tombstone. But if you want historical accuracy then don't bother. Several things were way wrong, Billy Clanton did not die in the gun fight at the OK Coral. Doc Holliday was not a alcholic dying gambler. He was a dentist who lived to a rip old age. I was wondering if the writer bother to do any research. Just because it made money don't make it a good movie. My rating 1 out of 10 stars.

When toxic waste dumping results in a mutation in the most dangerous wild bore of them all. The Razorback. On the tail of the flesh eating monster is the husband of a murdered reporter. But the reporter wasn't killed by the veracious beast, but by two slimily poachers. So it's one tough guy trapped between a hungry monster and two murderers. Can he escape. I must admit, the effects were not the greatest in the world. But you have to compensate the makers a little. It was 1984 Australia. But considering the date, I think it was a great movie. I give it 7 out of 10 stars

When a truck carrying a sample of alien gas is ran off the road, the container springs a leak. A man and his son is exposed to the gas in an attempt to rescue the driver and a scientist. Discovering the gas has a strange effect on him. He and his son can heal instantly, now wanted by the elderly crime lord who wanted the gas for just that reason. They must discover a way to keep ahead of him and his men. Their only weakness is long term exposure to complete darkness will kill them. This was only a pilot for a series that never made it. Just Like "Exo-Man" and "The Man With The Power". A darn shame, because it's one funny and cool movie that shows the range of Scott Bakula as an actor.

The story follows the lion cub Kimba who lost his parents to human hunters. His father was shot by the hunters and his mother died when the ship carrying her and little Kimba sank. Alone, he must adapt to life. But with his friends he forgive mankind and tries to teach the animals the best of human kind. Including talking and school. The series follows Kimba and how he tries to adapt to being alone and teach the other animals human rituals. A good series for the entire family.

In this American version of the 1956 classic. A mutation expert is drafted in helping the military capture or kill a 250 foot lizard the press dubbed Godzilla. As the massive lizard attacks New York city during a rainy afternoon. It's a race against time to try to find Godzilla's secret nest that the army doesn't believe exists. Not quite as good plot ways as the classic. But incredible effects and a snappy wit send this movie to the top. I give it 8 out of 10 stars
