Geez People!
30 November 2001
I can't believe how many people rip this movie apart, yet it averages 7.0 out of 10 stars! I'm not sure why people hate this movie. If you're really into the story line of the original series, then you should be interested in how it all began. If you just like a good story, then it fits into that category. If you like special effects, this has that as well. Yes, this movie has its weak points-Jar Jar and baby Anikan-but Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson were excellent in their roles. If there had never seen the original movies and this came out, it wouldn't get near the trashy reviews it gets here. People expected way too much. Even George Lucas said before the movie came out that people shouldn't expect too much - it's just a friggin' movie.

Not That Bad - Better than Freaky Links
19 March 2001
This show isn't as bad as some here believe it is. I think they were expecting more X Files or something. Yes, some of the jokes are bad, but some are pretty good, and I assume those who don't get them just don't understand the humor. I like the ideas for the plots, especially the episode about the water powered car. Poeple don't often think of the consequences of their actions, even if their actions are well-intended.

As for the idiot who complained about the grammatical issues with the name of the show, it's called a play on words. Yes, there's three guys. But, they're more or less working alone, so it's a lone group. If you don't get the title, no wonder you don't like the show. You probably don't understand the subtle humor.

Crossroads (1986)
Great Movie, Great Music, Good Acting
17 October 2000
My brother had me watch this movie when I was first learning how to play guitar, and I loved it. I just happened to catch it on WB the other day and thought I would write about it. Someone mentioned earlier that Macchio must have had to practice a lot to look like he was actually playing. I read some where that he actually was playing most of the movie. There are times when you can tell he isn't playing, like in the bar with Willie. Anyway, great movies, I love the Blues, especially slide guitar.

Good, Fresh Comedy

This is a very funny show. I don't know why though. None of the actors are very convincing, yet they are perfect for their roles. It makes it more like real life. I like the flashbacks of the dad and his woman troubles. He's always standing in his robe, drinking a beer, while a woman is walking out on him, yelling at him or setting his clothes on fire. Great stuff! If we can't laugh at stuff like this, what can we laugh at? Great show, don't miss it. Oh yeah, and Erin is hot!

Surprised Locklear Didn't Ruin It!
12 April 2000
I like this show. I was concerned when they said that Heather Locklear was going to be added. I didn't think she was the right type of person for the show. BUT, I've been pleasantly surprised all season, as she has been very funny and has worked out very well.

I think when Charlie Sheen replaces Fox, the show will still be good. Sheen is a great comedic actor (Major League, Hot Shots 1&2) and I heard he was supposed to have his own show this season, but was kept off the air for no real reason. Looks like he'll get his chance after all. It't time for people to cut hime a break for his mistakes, no one seems to remember Hugh Grant's little incident a few years ago...

That '70s Show (1998–2006)
Yes, this show does rule.

Great show. I was born in '77 and still relate to the base of the jokes - drugs, music, family, etc. Topher Grace's portrayal of Eric has to be one of the best tv characters of all time (right up there with Phil Hartman's Bill Mcneal of NewsRadio). His facial expressions and timing is just perfect every time.

Even better, there really isn't a star on the show. It's usually centered around the Forman house, but sometimes there aren't even any Formans there! Everyone has had there moment in the sun, even the neighbors.

Greatest show ever!!!

Gazziza!

Easily the most sophisticated sitcom to ever air. Most people do not get the humor in this show, or understand the jokes. Many of the jokes are based on popular culture - tv, movies, news headlines, so if you're out of touch, you just don't get them. I especially like the Star Wars references.

Even though the show wasn't the same after it lost Bill, it was still good. I agree with most people that Jon Lovitz was not the best choice for a replacement. I read somewhere that other options were Patrick Warburton?(the guy who eventually played Johnny Johnson) and Rob Schneider. Either of these two would have been funnier than Lovitz. The last season focused more on the relationship between Dave and Matthew, and basically how Dave is sick of him - ironic that they ended up together at the end.

I wish there was a way that the show would come back, but I'm sure people are moving on to bigger (but definitely not better) things. So long!

Very Addictive Show
17 March 2000
I never really started watching this show until the last few months, and now I haven't missed one in a long time. Lucky fo rme, they show reruns on Saturday night and Sunday night here in the Twin Cities, so I'm getting caught up pretty quickly. They showed the first ever episode the other night, which was really good.
