Scanners is a story about little group of people, which have a special talent to Scan people. Thats the plot in shortly (Of course there is also a bad Scanners and good Scanners). First i have to say that this movie really is a horror classic, and Scanners was ahead of time just like Lang'S Metropolis. This movie was a Cronenberg's major breakout but it wasn't the best. I myself like better Cronenberg's Rabid and Brood, also Naked Lunch is very good. But i was writing about Scanners so... Scanners idea is great and the scenes where two scanners fight in the end is marvelous, and also the classic cult scene where the head explodes (Bad headache) is great. Special effects are really incredible and also ahead of time (Scanners was made at 1981, if you didnt know). But where is the bizarre Cronenberg (I dont mean that Scanners isnt bizarre at all but). If the Scanners would had a little more better plot and more bizarre bio-scifi influence id would be so much better. But its still great!!!

Oh my good this is great movie, about suicide maniac communist (Jorma Tommila) who wants to get back in the old times (USSR). He is just going to hang himself when Vampire comes there in the right time. (SORRY ABOUT MY LANGUAGE, I AM FROM FINLAND ). They decide to go together in the promised land USSR. Movie contines (?) lots of great jokes and funny stuff. Jorma Tommila is great in role of old maniac communist. GRAZY MOVIE......

Friends, family, coworkers, and even her lover bellitle a poor factor worker (GREAT OUTI MÄENPÄÄ). a Box of rat poison seems to be the solution to her problems, with hilarious results. Tulitikkutehtaan tyttö is my favourite Kaurismäki movie. It*s so realistic and cruel but also humorous picture of a poor worker. SNIF SNIF (movie is so sad) SNIF....

the Best Pekka ja Pätkä movie of the all time. Esa Pakarinen and Masa Niemi are great together, almost as good as Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin together. You dont need brains when you watch this movie, you just watch and laugh or dont laugh....
