Unlike what a previous reviewer said about this film being a ripoff of Roger Corman's films, it is not. AIP, who owned all the films Corman did during the 50s, decided they were going to remake these films as cheaply as possible ($30,000) and sell the to television. So, AIP hired Texas filmmaker Larry Buchanan and had him film Zontar the Thing from Venus,Curse of the Swamp Creature, In the Year 2889 ,Creature of Destruction ,and The Eye Creatures. These were all remakes of 50's AIP films. Yes, these films are all hastily made messes, and yes they are bad, but in an entertaining way. I for one miss by-the-seat-of-your-pants film-making, as well as miss the master, Larry Buchanan.

I consider myself to be a bad film connisseur, but this movie is THE worst EVER!!! It's a badly made Canadian giant bug film, with even worse footage of former porno queen Amber Lynn edited between scenes as a reporter, reporting on things unassociated with this movie. Its a partial rip off of Evil Dead and Last House on Dead End Street, but without the charm of either. Watch at own risk,eh.

This movie is alot of fun, and if you are a biker film enthusiast like I am, it's a must see. It's your usual tale of a biker gang terrorizing towns and robbing, raping, and killing everyone along the way. Its up to the two cops who put the leader Tarzan away years ago,to stop their reign of terror. Hilarious costumes for the bikers including colored mohawks, and one of the best biker movie themes ever.

ok those zany italians have ripped off yet another film! like "Alien Contamination" was ripped from "Alien", this baby was stolen from "Road Warrior". great homosexual theme too! maybe the lowest point in Fred Williamson's carreer? George Eastman ("Grim Reaper"- another great italian flick) is great as usual. but those golf carts as action vehicles? c'mon....

wow, i really hate these big budget hollywood movies that try to get the feel of old 50s greats like "Earth vs. the Flying Saucers". bad story,lame acting,dumb special effects. will smith? no thanks. gimme Tim Burton's much better "Mars Attacks" any day.
