No. Just. No.
19 February 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Terrible. Bobbie Phillips could and SHOULD do better than this "film". Whoever wasted the money and manpower to have this flick produced should be shot. SPOILER WARNING: Let's see, the premise of the movie: Myth proves true when inbred cannibals quickly start offing EVERYBODY, that is, all the students, teachers, guides, what have you, on some field trip. No real reason other than they're inbred cannibals. Just when you think it can't get any worse, there's an unbelievably (not that any of this can be mistaken for believable) unrealistic twist in the end that makes no sense, it leaves you saying "What the hell?" and wanting to kick your own a$$ for wasting 85min. Of your life on this flick. Save your brain cells and watch paint dry instead of "Evil Breed." The paint may prove more stimulating.

Amazing Finish to an Amazing Series
30 October 2004
I don't know which mini-series LVCambot watched, but the one I watched, Farscape: Peacekeeper Wars, delivered exactly what the creators promised: Excellence! The Peacekeeper Wars picked up where Farscape's fourth season finale, "Bad Timing," left off and the mini-series stayed true to the original concept of the show; the characters were strong, the script was out of this world, and the miniseries never failed to provide one exciting scene after another. David Kemper, Brian Henson, Ben Browder, Claudia Black, and all the crew, did their best to provide a great show for their fans and they succeeded. This was one incredible finish to a fantastic, prematurely ended series.

Slash (2002)
Don't let the title discourage you. . .
28 July 2004
This was a pretty good movie. I caught late one night on Cinemax. The band Slash is like any average band, a brooding lead singer, his love interest/manager and a collection of eclectic musicians that complete the group. Mac (the lead) has to return home to a family funeral, the same home which his mother whisked him away from at an early age though he can't remember why. But there is a family secret hidden in Mac's forgotten memories, a secret still living amongst the cornfield. As the group wait to get their bus fixed and get back on the road, band members begin to disappear as the the past comes back to haunt them. As Mac begins to remember the truth, the word "Slash" takes on a new form as the group becomes unwitting pawns in the MacDonald's shocking family tradition of the "Harvest of Blood."

"Slash" though a horror flick is light on the gore that one usually finds in slasher flicks (which I was pleasantly surprised to find out) plus it had some comical moments, like the name "MacDonald's Farm" and the hick farmer knowing more about music that self-proclaimed "know-it-all" in the group; not to mention the song in the end, although sounding good, being entitled, "Eee-aiy-ee-OOOHHH! All in all, Decent flick, enjoyable to watch.

Lost Treasure (2003)
Entertainment Value
8 February 2004
Get off your moral high horse, it's a movie meant for entertainment purposes and not meant to reflect the values of a society. Don't take it or yourself so seriously and accept the movie in the context it was initially created for, a 90 minute exercise in escapism.
