A great film on reflection about theatre world.

An excellent film about dominating factors in theatre schools over innocent apprentice acting students. Their relations with teachers, directors, stress and competition in auditions, etc. A moving topic pseudo-document realistic film.

amazed by the originality of the script

One of those French films with originality of script and warmth released by great comedians such as veteran actor Michel Serrault. Unforgettable! We get acquainted with the new life of a city woman who learns to live in daily Vercors rural life exigence.

Precisions on this film

This film was the first color full feature film from France and also starred André Dassary, a well known operetta singer in France. Dassary later recorded those Basque folklore inspired songs with Raymond Legrand's Orchestra, the father of Michel Legrand.

A milestone in Spanish cinema

I have seen this film in its original version and in a French translation, and I must admit that, as far as all cinematic qualities are concerned, it reminds me very much of those glorious British Ealing Studios comedies of the 50s.
