Interview with a Hitman (2012)
worth watching
Like most of the reviewers I am surprised of the low rating, but if that is the way people taste goes.... so be it. About the movie: the plot is moving between slow moments and action scenes, back and forth, in puzzle of memories that only at the end make sense, and that is were the movie goes to a totally different level. The final twists turn on the light on scenes and moments that seemed odd or seemed just like other killings, while right at the end everything became clear to who was the player and who was the puppet. I agree that everything could have been much better, but like others said, this is a first timer, low budget flick, so keep those facts in mind. Where it fells short is in the acting of some characters, and definitely it could have been more elaborated in every single memory, maybe going deeper in some situation. What was really negative was the audio, which was an absolute shame. Anyway give it a shot, in my opinion is worthy of your time.
Lost Christmas (2011)
A Good Movie
First of all this is a "must see" Christmas movie, and that is because been a tale it becomes personal, and here you have a potentially really good movie. The story is the strongest point, it gives scattered hints or pieces of a puzzle that all come together at the end, and that is by far the best thing of this movie. Unfortunately, I think that everything else fell short, and was treated as a B-movie, from photography to editing down to the actors, that at the end, I feel ,did not performed at the level I would have expected. I really think that the ambiance of a movie is as important as the story itself, and probably taking this story back in time, in a more charming looking atmosphere, (like "The Extraordinary Adventures Of Adele Blanc"),adding a voice in the back that gives you more information about all the characters you meet, and definitely having a better editing and photography would have made this an all time "Classic Christmas Movie". But again watch it, it deserves it.
