Starting with some historical info on how the contest grew from a local bar event to an annual highlight on the US leather calendar, "Crowned & Bound" captures some of the buzz, atmosphere and fun going on at IML 2010. Clips from various parts of the competition and the action taking place at the leather market are intersected with historical video footage and information from Joey McDonald, IML Den Daddy, Jason Hendrix, IML 2004 and Chester Munro, Mr Leather Chicago 2010. Despite ending up with an informative and fun to watch end result, it's more about highlights than delving into an unknown world. Those longing for a deeper look into the world of leather, fetish and kink will have to turn to other resources. Nevertheless, no viewer will disagree when Chester exclaims "Being here and being part of this? Absolutely worth it!" at the end. "Crowned & Bound" is informative, fun to watch and seems suited for all audiences. Harmless IML advertising and with the 2010 IML winner being a trans-gender man, a nice time document as well.

If you see this movie, you'll first think it is very weird. Many students Danish at the University Of Amsterdam turned of their television after half an hour. But they were wrong. The weird but hilarious characters, the interesting plot and the good actors, it makes Bye Bye Bluebird I very good film.
It is NOT the story about two aliens on The Faroer, it is a tragic comedy about two girls in search of their identities. A deeply moving film with an unexpected ending...And yes, I cried when I saw it. If you have any interest in danish, Danmark or The Faroer, you can not afford to miss this film!
