Rat Race (2001)
FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!
I thought this movie was hilarious! There were points where I was almost crying because I was laughing so hard! John Cleese and Rowan Atkinson were hilarious, as well as Seth Green, Whoopie Goldberg, and the rest of the characters! I recommend this to anyone who loves a good comedy!
Whose Line Is It Anyway? (1998)
Extremely Funny!
I have never seen the older "Who's Line Is It Anyway", but it would probably be hard to beat the American Version! I only saw this show about two weeks ago, and I'm already hooked! It's hilarious how these stars have to come up with certain skits right off the top of their head! Personally, I think the three funniest are Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Greg Proops, though everyone else are very talented as well! I hope that they keep this show running for a long time!
The Wind in the Willows (1996)
Wonderful!
Terry Jones's adaptation of "Wind in the Willows" is wonderful!! I found it very interesting to watch, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time! I'm not usually a fan of Disney movies, but I saw this and flipped! I loved it! I think people who don't like this movie really don't appreciate the wonderful Terry Jones. Yes, I understand some of the humor is a little "adult" for some of the younger viewers, but there is plenty for them as well (I mean, as a former python, how could Jones resist a few jokes here and there). The kids will laugh at Mr. Toad's zany exploits trying to get his motor car! Even funnier is Mole, Rat, and Badger trying to cure him! What else to say... I just thought this was a wonderful film, and a must see for (a)Disney Lovers (b) Python Lovers (c) and people who just want to see a different adaptation on a movie!!
Erik the Viking (1989)
Wonderful Comedy by Terry Jones!
Terry Jones uses his love of history in this hilarious comedy about Erik (a Viking, in case you didn't know).
Anyway, there is rather a lot you can learn from this colony. I can't think of any Viking movies off the top of my head that really mention "Ragnorok" or any other Viking terms.
Besides the educational stuff, this movie is funny (sorry for being redundant). King Arnulf had me rolling on the floor laughing. Tim Robbins was a viking without a clue, and did it marvelously!
I highly recommend this movie!
