When in Rome (I) (2002 Video)
7/10
Sweet but samey
26 October 2003
As many others have pointed out, this movie fits the plot of every other Olsen twins movie since 'Passport to Paris'- go to a foreign country, kiss cute boys, and make a difference in someone's life. Having said this, I enjoyed the movie. It was a thoroughly entertaining 81 minutes and I would happily watch it again. I am ready to see Mary-Kate and Ashley move on to more mature projects now, where they can really meet their potential.

Dharma & Greg (1997–2002)
Sadly Missed
25 April 2003
"Dharma & Greg" is one of my favourite shows of recent years. It's cute and smart and I'm missing it already! I absolutely adore Jenna Elfman and I thought that the chemistry between herself and Thomas Gibson was absolutely infalliable. For the most part, the supporting cast were strong too, particularly the continuous bickering between Kitty and Edward (Susan Sullivan and Mitch Ryan) In the last series I missed my other favourite character, Jane (Shae D'Lyn), very much.

Caroline in the City (1995–1999)
Oddly Appealing
25 April 2003
I started to watch this a little about 3 years ago when it played on a satellite station here. I was not expecting to like it because it has been slated by various critics across the US. However, I found myself enjoying it more and more as it went along. The characters were well portrayed and likeable and the writing was at least average.

Lea Thompson is gorgeous and her 'chirpiness' as Caroline was endearing, as was her attachment to Richard. He seems to have been something of a sore point in the show but I took to him straight away. He's fab because he's different and quirky. I think it's great that he didn't have to be an amazingly attractive, built guy, it gives more realism.

All in all, 'Caroline in the City' is fun and watchable, though not Emmy-worthy its certainly worth a look.

So Little Time (2001–2002)
Oh dear!
13 January 2002
OK, I'm appalled at this show. I know TV isn't supposed to be real but this show didn't even give the pretence of trying to be real. I'm 16 years old so I remember being 14-15 really clearly and I never acted like the twins do in this, nor did my friends (or anyone in my school). There's so much more to life and when you're 14 you are totally aware of this. 'So Little Time' is an insult to teenage girls everywhere.

I think Mary-Kate and Ashley are great, and 'Two Of A Kind' was hilarious but I'm sorry to say that the high points of their career died when 'Two Of A Kind' did. Its a shame.

Ellen DeGeneres: The Beginning (2000 TV Special)
9/10
Heart-warming yet hilarious
2 January 2002
Ellen Degeneres is one of my fave actresses and I admire her honesty and her ability to babble to an audience for over an hour without stopping! I live in England and you can only get this on video here, I watched it with 4 of my friends (all aged 16) and only me and one of my male friends enjoyed it. No-one else quite understood Ellen's quirks and rambling habits. Still, I give this one an 8 or 9. Nice work Ellen, keep it up. :)

This is one of my favourite films
31 December 2000
This is one of my favourite films (even though i am nearly 16 years old) because it is really fun and it made me laugh. Especially the whole incident where they push Meredith onto the lake on a mattress. I think Lindsay Lohan is extremely talented and I'm sure she'll do well in the future.
