Typical military crime drama...until the end
10 January 2004
This movie started out as 'The General's Daughter II, Electric Boogaloo' but as the plot thickened and the characters became more developed, I became more and more intrigued. The last 25 minutes of this movie had more twists than Marlon Brando's intestines. Great ending to save a mediocre movie!

Great story, bad acting.

I thought this was a great story, however, Mr. Whitaker made me chuckle. His use of a gun as a sword was a little melodramatic. I appreciated the references to the ancient philosophy of the Samurai, however, I just didn't necessarily think Forest Whitaker was the right man for the job.

This is the best movie I've seen in probably 6 months. The cinematography is excellent, I don't know how many different colors of film stock were used, but customizing the film to the location was awesome! Each character portrayed a realistic soldier in the war on drugs. My top ten include Scarface, The Usual Suspects, Miller's Crossing and now Traffic. GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!!!!!!
