Special 26 (2013)

Special Chabbis is truly Special
10 February 2013
Special Chabbis is truly Special ..Special in terms of Acting, Screenplay, Cinematography and above all is the flawless Direction..Neeraj Pandey has picked it up from where he left in 'A Wednesday'. He has successfully quenched the expectation and hype which was created for this movie. The film is based on late 1980s which works as another high point for the movie. AK is awesome and his controlled yet subtle emotion looks like he has reincarnated himself as AJJU ..Not that this is his career best performance but a performance we have been longing for Specially from him. Manoj Bajpayee and Anupam Kher are Special too as i cant think of anyone who could do a better justice to the characters they played. Jimmy Shergil and Divya Dutta are underutilized. The villain of the film is the Romance angle which looks immensely forceful and acts as a major Speed Breaker to this pacey thriller (1st Half). Overall this is brave attempt by our Director which seems to have worked. Kudos to Neeraj Pandey for raising the standards of film making in Bollywood.

Agneepath (2012)
9/10
The old Agneepath completely belonged to AB and the new one has HR written all over it
27 January 2012
The old Agneepath completely belonged to AB and the new one has HR written all over it...Hrithik is at his Bloody Best..The movie doesn't belong to Sanjay or Priyanka or anybody..It completely rests on HR's muscular Shoulders which he has carried with ease...This is clearly (one of) Hrithik's best performances ever where 'one of' is optional and can be removed depending on the audience ...I should not take the credit away from Rishi Kapoor as he was outstanding too.....Sanjay Dutt looked menacing but was let down by weak dialogues.. I really missed Kader Khan from the original. ( The most underrated Dialogue writer ) Statutory Warning : The movie is violent as per Bollywood standards.

Statutory Request : Comparisons are inevitable when a remake comes, but to enjoy the movie you will have to forget the old one completely..

Its a movie with old skeleton and a completely new soul.

The finest display of the human spirit
22 October 2006
Well after watching this movie i can assure that these kinda movies turn up once in a decade.....The finest display of the human spirit....Robert Beningni with all his hard work has created a masterpiece...a movie made with an utmost perfection....There are very few movies which drove me away with emotions and life is beautiful is one of them...Its a movie with a message....this flick was made with a perfect flavour of imagination, humor and emotion...

Robert Beningni himself was incredible in the movie...his comic timing was one of the best ever displayed on the canvas...he has left an indelible mark in the heart of the audience.....

I strongly recommend this movie to all the movie lovers...This is the movie which must be watched.......
