What's with the stupid music?
21 April 2024
The series overall is very good and the characters are played by excellent actors.

The scenery, the story, the production are all good.

What is annoying as hell is the over use of old songs. I understand that part of the story is set in the time of these songs and it would have been good if they put maybe 1 or 2 songs to showcase this throughout the series.

But no! The producers, creators and God knows who else, chose to bombard us with multiple old songs that made them redundant and very very annoying. This removed a big chunk of the series attraction for me. I mean, what's with this stupid trend of playing a soft old song when someone is massacring others?

Otherwise, I enjoyed the series.

The real hero is the San Francisco inspector, Frank Falzon
30 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This is a sad and terrifying story. It shows the deep impact a traumatized childhood can have on a person. This is not to justify what he did, he was a monster deprived of all feelings and hungry for blood.

I am disgusted by how incompetent were the police forces in LA. How can they ignore the killer's car and not process it and why didn't the 2 lead detectives push for the car to be processed instead of waiting for the other team?

Why did the LAPD withdrew the 2 detectives from the dentist's office? If it was for budget, why didn't they leave only one?

How come they install a defective alarm button? How come the dentist didn't also call the police when he realized they didn't come after he pressed the alarm? Wasn't he made aware of the atrocity of the the crimes?

So many questions need to be answered.

The real hero of this manhunt is the San Francisco inspector Frank Falzon that got the name of the killer.

May god have mercy on all the victims give peace of mind for their parents and relatives. A sad, sad story.

It's been a long time I didn't laugh this hard
11 March 2024
This is a wonderful and joyful movie. It made me laugh so hard in some of its scenes. I frankly don't remember when a movie was this funny that made me laugh this hard.

All the actors and actresses are spot on and played their roles beautifully.

A special appreciation for William H. Macy, he was great as his is always in all his movies.

John Cena was over the top, funny and authentic. He's a great actor and person.

It's been a while since I've seen Zac Efron in such a good movie and in such a good role.

Overall, if you want to spend ninety minutes of good times and feeling good, don't miss this movie, you'll thank me later :).

The mother is a monster, Kimmel is shallow and all others are gold diggers
1 March 2024
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary broke my heart.

Kai arrived to what he is, firstly because his mom abused him, locked him up and god knows what else. She's a pure monster and evil to treat her child like this and to abandon him. How can she appear in this documentary and talk about him like it wasn't her fault? How much money they paid her for this? She's the one that should be brought to justice for child neglect and abuse.

All the other vampires are also guilty of exploiting Kai instead of helping him. They simply are disgusting, all running to make a buck out of him from the reporter that clearly benefited from Kai to the reality show producer, to Kimmel's writer to the shallow Kimmel.

Shame on all of them!

I am in no position to judge on what happened to the old lawyer or on what he did to Kai. I just can say that Kai is believable.

Decayed society, opportunistic people, monster mother, uncaring family. My heart is broken.

Loved it
10 January 2024
I don't understand all the negative ratings and all the negative reviews. This is a remarkable movie. Entertaining, well executed and the acting is excellent. I enjoyed every part of it.

Emory cohen is excellent in his part and the story is well told and emotional.

Liam Hemsworth nailed it too.

As a novice film maker like I read somewhere, Malik Bader nailed it hands down. I won't be exaggerating if I compare his style to Michael Mann's.

2 thumbs up from me. It's been a while I didn't watch a good cop movie and this one is.

They have nothing to do with Lebanon
15 August 2023
They portray the thiefs and the bad guys that they are from Lebanon.

This is the farthest from the truth as it can be.

Theo Rossi who plays the role of Youcef Haddad is from North African and Italian origins and Jonathan Avigdori who plays the role of Khalil Haddad is from Israeli origins.

It is pitiful that they have these stereotypes in the movies.

I don't understand why they are shoving the name and the reputation of Lebanese people in this.

The movie by itself was ok. I watched it because I like Aubrey Plaza.

The plot shows the struggles that any student in the US faces with accumulated university debts.

This is a real problem in the US and it should be addressed to resolve it.

Yeah right, he wasn't after a payout! LoL
19 February 2023
The documentary is well made and the story is well told.

Big companies should be accountable if they promised to do something but don't deliver.

I watched this documentary carefully but I couldn't believe for a second that Jhon Leonard wasn't after a payout. No matter how much time he and his friends say they believed that they weren't. It is more then clear they were. Who in his right mind believes that a fighter jet can be won with points or it can be individually owned by a civilian especially when it was still in service.

He saw a money grab and wanted to steal some money from Pepsi.

Unfortunately, there are many people like this who try to get rich without working. A big shame.

Christopher Walken makes it Happen!
1 December 2022
Enjoyable series with a good sense of humor and good laughs. Too short in my opinion, just 6 episodes per season.

I liked season one better then season two, maybe because the idea was original.

Season 2 was good also but I think that it went a bit unbelievable at times.

Also, I'm afraid that it might give some youngsters the impression that it is cool to deal drugs. They make this seem fun when it is a serious crime.

If it weren't for Christopher Walken, I would have skipped it. He's so good. "Where am i?" Just hilarious.

The other characters are also good. Each one brings something to this light hearted series.

Hats off Mr. Walken.

Season 1 was good. Season 2 started good but
28 May 2022
I enjoyed season one of this sci-fi comedy. It was really funny and the actors are all good.

Season 2 started very good 2 for the 1st few episodes but then turned into a mess. I finished it because I like finishing what I start but it was agony especially the last 3 episodes.

Season 1 is good, downhill from there
15 April 2022
I enjoyed season 1. It was refreshing, new concept and nice stories. But unfortunately, it was downhill from there. Season 4 was not necessary IMO and it was the worst!

Are they trying to burn the show?
9 April 2022
Didn't they learn from the episode they did like this before or are they trying to burn the show?

The 1st 2 minutes of the episode I realized that it will be an interview type episode so I gave it 10 minutes and I stopped watching it.

Watch this movie to have a good time and don't take it seriously although it has a message too!

The acting is funny and there's a feel good vibe throughout.

I really enjoyed it!

Is it a comedy? It sure looks like it
12 April 2021
I started this movie to watch a nice action movie like Statham does it but I found myself laughing through the biggest part of this movie. Laughing at incredible and unbelievable scenes, the ones who created this movie have a big and wild imagination. It is hilarious!

Good story and nice scenery. So so script
9 April 2021
I enjoyed this movie and the cinematography and the scenery. The story is good too but there are some questionable unrealistic scenes, like what where the writers or the director thinking? They could have made the same scenes much more "believable" with a small twist.

Nevertheless, I enjoyed it.

Boring boring boring.
15 April 2019
I gave it an hour 5 minutes before finally stopping the movie. Couldn't take it anymore. Where do I start? Why would I care for a story in the 1950s? On top of that, nothing important to this story. A couple not satisfied with their life? What is new or exciting about this? They want to move to live a better life? So? Where is the stupid story? I couldn't also sympathize with any of the characters. Bof, a waste of time and a boring movie!!

Worthless junk
9 February 2019
I thought I try to see this movie to have a good laugh but I literally watched 2 minutes of it before stopping because they degrade religious symbols. Who in his right mind think this is funny? This is a worthless piece of s**t not even worth the time to write about how bad it is, but I am doing this review so to warn potential viewers not to loose any time on this movie

It went in a downward spiral from season 2 onwards
4 February 2019
It's a shame that the series went from great to good to acceptable to an unbelievable mess at the End. Timothy Okyphant is great and he held the series together even in the bad seasons. The series turned from witty and funny to violent and dark at the end. What a shame. Along with Timothy Okyphant, the actors Jeremy Davis (Dickie) and Damon Harriman (Dewey) carried the series to make it watchable.

It is becoming more stupid and more of the same thing with each episode
18 January 2019
No more originality in this show. Jeremy's jokes are becoming more stupid and more offensive with each new episode. The direction is the same with each section: silent start with dimmed light then loud music with some shouting and some engine noise followed by a stupid review.

This is what I call a great cop's movie
16 December 2018
This under the radar cop movie is a good one. Dan Brennan's performance is captivating. Forget the big budget movies. This one shows how a good story and a good performance can make a movie. It keeps you glued to the screen waiting for the events to unfold. The setting is real, the action is good, the actors are almost all good. What a gem!

5 stars only for Freddy Prinze Jr and Jessica Biel
3 July 2018
I watched this movie because I am a fan of Freddy Prinze Junior. Apart from the fact that he plays in this movie along with Jessica Biel, the movie is ridiculous. It is filled with nonsense: Discrimination about big girls, picturing older women as dying for sex, young men as conquerors after their first sexual experience, hard working men as unsuccessful because they have an honest job. It is really a disgusting movie full of false cliches.

The three stooges strike again
19 January 2017
Warning: Spoilers
If you used to watch Top Gear UK, this series (The Grand Tour) is basically the same. I used to like it, but, with each episode, the 3 presenters are getting weirder and weirder. This episode is full of rubbish. I only watched the first 15 minutes or so when they tested the Alfa Romeo Giulia. But then I simply fast forwarded to the end and found nothing else in this episode interesting. They started talking about the Corals on the Beach and sinking cars and that sort of nonsense. And James May couldn't help but mention that the 206 they were sinking was not good. I wonder how he came to this conclusion about the best selling car in its category in Europe for 4 straight years and it sold by millions. I bet he hasn't drove one and if he did, maybe for a short period of time. Well I owned one and it was brilliant.

The mighty American
27 December 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Spoilers. Beware. This movie started well but soon shifted to an unbelievable stupid story where the mighty Americans save the day. Sure, who are the stupid french police? We are the Americans, get out of the way! The story is bullsh*t. It must have been written by a bunch of extremists so to say that all the bombings in France were done by others then extremists and that they have nothing to do with it. This is the politics face of the story. Now, American hero wise, the mighty CIA agent, single handedly, outsmarted what should be the best police force in France (They call it RAPID in the movie, but they were targeting the RAID force). They were dropping like a house of cards from a single punch or like mosquitoes from a single blow. Come on, give the RAID some credit!
