Ricky Gervais: SuperNature (2022)
Nothing new
Just reused all his old jokes and as he says frequently in this "I've already been paid for this"
If you have seen his other stand up shows you don't need to bother with this, shame for me because I was really looking forward to this.
Avoidance (2022)
Decent
I love pretty much everything Romesh is in because I love his awkwardness and deadpan style. Could of really good characters in it, not edgy or hard hitting but I did enjoy it.
After Life (2019)
Perfect
Thanks Ricky, this is just perfectly made tv. From the writing to the casting, acting and production it is sublime. An emotional look at an amazing characters life after the death of his one true love.
It was so real, I laughed and cried in equal measures.
Thanks again Ricky.
People Just Do Nothing: Big in Japan (2021)
Smashed it!
I was buzzing when I first heard about this film and couldn't wait for it to be released, wasn't disappointed at all when I saw it at the cinema last night. Much much funnier than the inbetweeners movies.
Love the Kurupt family and I hope it's not the end
KEEP IT KURUPT AND THROW UP THEM K's.
Arrow (2012)
Gets repetitive
Starts off great but I had to stop binging it after 4 series because it gets very repetitive and I got bored of the constant flashbacks to be honest. Would have much preferred if if they had just written it in a way that you spent a season or two with Oliver after he survives the boat going down. I have really taken my time finishing season 5 but I'm done now, it was only really a bit of OCD that got me to this point but I'm going to leave it alone now. Parallel universes, meta humans and the way that characters just come back to life just got too much for me I guess, season one was great though
Paul Chowdhry: Live Innit (2019)
Laughed from start to finish
I have loved every one of Paul's shows. I am white 34 year old man, admittedly I don't know exactly what a couple of the words meant but you get the idea by the way it's said. Race, religion and age don't matter, let's just get along and laugh at each other
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Wish I hadn't bothered
I am a massive fan of Breaking Bad and was so excited for this movie but ended up gutted! Jesse has been in a cage for a year but somehow lost no weight at all, loads and loads of boring flashbacks! Just wish they had left it alone instead of making a bad movie for money.
How anyone can HONESTLY rate this higher than a 4 is beyond me, I can only come to the conclusion that they are paid reviews which is even more depressing
