The Secret is out, a Ben Stiller masterpiece performance!
23 December 2013
Warning: Spoilers
This may be Ben Stiller's best movie ever. Walter Mitty took me on an adventure that will last longer than the approximated length of the movie. He once again works in his visual versatility that he's come so famous for employing. From straight laced, pencil pushing worker bee to cliffhanging, shark fighting daredevil. Plainly speaking, he just dazzles and he brings you in and you want the movie to last longer.

The center of his dreams is of course a girl, Cheryl (Kristen Wiig), a coworker, through no fault other than his bashfulness, doesn't even know he exists. His fate changes when a negative from a roll of film from their company's lead photographer, Sean O'Connell (Sean Penn) gets lost. He needs her help and she inspires him to go track Sean down.

I left feeling like I just watched Stranger Than Fiction for the first time. This is a feel good story of make believe powerful enough to resonate in real life. One of the best films this year.

The only thing bad about this movie is the critics off opinions
28 January 2012
I'm not going to dance around and avoid spoiling so I'll keep it short. It was a good movie. It apparently has flaws in the plot line, but while you're enjoying the movie, IT WON'T MATTER. Sam Worthington (Terminator: Salvation, Avatar, Clash Of The Titans) is a bonafide action star (and better actor than Channing Tatum). The supporting cast was refreshing! I haven't seen Burnsy (Edward Burns) play a likable character in a while. Jamie Bell(Jumper, The Eagle) plays the scrawny little brother with perfection. Elizabeth Banks (Zack and Miri Makes A Porno) seems to be cut from the cloth of a Tea Leone sans the raspy voice. Playing the down trodden detective who reluctantly has the task of talking down the jumper. And Ed Harris (The Rock, A History Of Violence) as the bad guy. What else do I need to say? Enjoy the movie!

Jeremy Piven delivers "The Goods"
3 November 2011
Warning: Spoilers
This movie does not cater to all kinds of movie goers and I'm sure the producers didn't expect Grandma Mabel to be in the theater watching a scruffy faced Ari Gold sell used cars with a team of hotshots to save a rag-tag, misfit, dealership. But...but, if you're a person that enjoyed PCU or any other frat fashioned movie then you'll be in heaven because Piven's tongue is as slick and as quick as ever in this one. My favorite thing about this movie was that I could pull so many taglines out of it Babs - "Yes, the carpet does match the drapes" Don Ready " Here's my story, I have hair on my balls and I sell cars" Selleck - "When I man tells me to wear my boner pants, I wear my boner pants"

So, I hope you watch it and I hope you enjoy.
