Turn on the lights

A little treat of lumen on set wouldn't hurt this production. No doubt there are good actors involved here, sad I couldn't see them in this total darkness. 1/10 Because the series did not do well as an audiobook.

8, 9, 10!

Warning: Spoilers
First I rated this movie 8. Then I changed it to a 9 after reading an informative review for those of us who did not quite understand the second half of the movie. After a while it sunk in: This movie is a freaking piece of art. The way it changes half way from an entertaining and comfortable adventure-like plot to a shocking crime scene that enlightens issues related to social layers and class differences, had me consufed at first. But it was deffinately a necessity not to become «just another movie», but one of its kind. This production is unique.

If you say A you have to say _
27 August 2020
My expectations were probably too high. I chose to watch the series because of the good reviews, but I am having a hard time finding qualities in this production worth giving it a higher score. The plot definately had potetial, which was spillt during all the long scenes of random conversations, drug abuse and sexual interactions taken all out of context - They did not stick very well to the story, and I spent a lot of time, and episodes, just waiting for a clarification on what was really going to happen next. If you say A you have to say _ Too bad it did not work yout. One star for the attempt of making something great, and one star for the actors.

Nothing like the Kardashians
27 August 2020
This crazy and beautiful family will blow you away with their touching stories and strong personalities in an adventurous way, still they are all quite down to earth and easy to fall in love with. Luckily nothing like the Kardashians.

I knew very little about this strong and lively Jørgine before watching the series, and think she let the audience in to her family and private life just the right way, both entertaining and emotional - Packed with honesty and love. It is hard not to find her competitiveness and will to succeed while taking care of herself and family inspirational. And I will classify this series as an healthy fly-on-the-wall opportunity for anyone who enjoys taking a sneak peak into other peoples everyday life. Highly recommendable.

Ridiculously satisfying
26 August 2020
Rating this movie 1 star in the best meaning. Should every name on the closing credits be proud? YES. Will I ever see this movie twice? NO.

I really hope these people had a lot of fun making the movie, because I sure had a good time renting it and dare to claim this was $4 well spent. Never have I seen such a poorly executed production from the 21st century. At the same time the movie was in possesion of making me smile for almost 1 hour and 27 minutes. And just when I thought they had filled their quota, they managed to serve another buffet of WTF-moments. I sould probably be embarrassed to say that this movie was ridiculously satisfying to watch. And i also recommend it, because it is just too horrible to miss. Enjoy.

Uncomfotable, fun and genuine
25 August 2020
One can apparently be both bitter and happy about the state of existence at the same time. This series brings up some of the common topics for a 29 year old to feel this way about, and in the best scandinavian wrapping. More a descriptive than a necessarily feel-good series - though it has a nice pinch of humour with the misery of being 29 and somehow unsatisfied. I myself enjoyed watching it, and would recommend it to a 29 year old single dormitory tenant with a good sense of self irony if I was to do so. For better or worse: many scenarios one can relate to. Well made, suitable actors, concise and not too time consuming. I had fun, at the same time feeling sorry for some of the characters.

Scandinavian crime with a pinch of crazyness
25 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I think each episode perfectly juggles multiple issues without cunfusing the audience, and at the same time manages to keep the crime in focus. The characters evolve in a moderate tempo and there are many norwegian everyday elements in the series that an audience from the actual country or area can relate to. I really adore scandinavian crime series and movie productions in general, and did enjoy watching Kielergata with all its oddities, hints of humor, frustrations and after all calm and crazy down to earthyness. Recommend this one for those who would like to see somethink different, yet also very much typical for norwegian crime.

Pleasant reunion
21 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
As a moderate Pokémon fan, I enjoyed watching this movie. There were several nostalgic moments through the movie as many scenes were remade just perfectly to make a pleasant reunion with the original. Though in my opinion this remake lacked the extra gear and felt a little bit more tame. Among other things the old soundtrack during the clone versus original scene was missing this time, may be a little bit picky, but it didn't set the right mood for a 90's Pokémon kid as myself. But I would definately show this movie to my kids, and i think they would love it just as I loved the original one.
