Psycho (1998)
A dreamlike vision unlike It's predecessor!
Even though I love the original movie's accomplishments I can't deny the fact that I much rather prefer Gus Can Sant's remake due to It's better casting, (my opinion) increased suspense in famous scenes, slower pace, and a much lighter score in sequences of heavy filmography! Sant's Phsycho is a more artistic version of an already horrific film!
The Girl Next Door (2007)
An important unveiling of truth!
Gritty, thoroughly shocking, and graphically portrayed. The Girl Next Door prooves an old-school classic that brings a true story to life while maintaining a breathtaking message, as well as showing that even independent films can have marvelous acting and well made filmography!
Sling Blade (1996)
"Proof of a Beautiful Mind"
After watching and finishing Billy Bob Thortons' 'Sling Blade' in It's entirety I know first hand that despite having a somewhat simple plot to begin with the film slowly transcends into a complex ordeal of fantastic acting, meaningful messages and powerful filmography!
No Child of Mine (1997)
An emotional landmine of realism!
Though a low budget picture, No Child of Mine's gritty filmography, overly realistic acting, and depiction of graphic child abuse as well as self harm shows that this movie is something to applaud and be overly greatful for.
Midsommar (2019)
A bold achievement in filmmaking!
With It's gorgeous cinematography, splendid acting, framing expertise and much, much more. Midsommar starts off bold and strong and leads you into something so sinister it leaves you in shock long after the credits role! Midsommar is shocking, bold, jaw dropping and overall a masterwork of an achievement for amateur Ari Aster!
Ang-ma-reul bo-at-da (2010)
Revenge has never felt so real...
Just when you thought that the revenge genre had gone out of style, 'I Saw the Devil' brings it all home with It's emotionally realistic story, terrific lead performances, grotesque violence, and powerful scenes and filmography, showing that sometimes the barrier between film and reality doesn't exist. 'I Saw the Devil' will touch you deeply!
Rock Dog (2016)
A delightful exersize in family fun!
Though the film juggles with multiple plots and cheap animation, the film manages It's way to your heart to put a smile on your face with It's charming characters and overused but still heart warming message.
