We didn't see SNL in the UK where I'm from so this was just a film in its own right. Absolute classic. I laugh as much now at the jokes and the fabulous language as I did in 1993. I cannot believe its low rating here.

The cast is fantastic, the writing excellent. I recommend you watch it and make up your own mind.

Sadly Australian TV doesn't have a good reputation and for good reason. This is twenty years out of date and is fifteen minutes of clichéd Girl Power. There is better out there.

Sir Les Patterson as all Brits know represents Australians perfectly, well he did before they all came down with a nasty dose of PC and lost their sense of humour.

A classic movie with Sir Les and Dame Edna at their best.

A very enjoyable watch, brought a smile to my face and made me long for simpler times.
