The most underrated TV show of the year...

I really liked this show. It has something that most zombie apocalypse movies/shows don't: It feels real.

Main characters come and go. They die. No plot shields (almost). There are no big heroes. The good ones don't always win and things are not fair.

It's a good show. I hope they make a 3rd season.

I don't understand why some writers nowadays seem to be fond of taking massive dumps on their own work, specially when it comes to writing the most important and final piece of the plot: the ending.

Why spending so much time creating a setting, an atmosphere, a vibe for the viewer just to rip it all off at last minute?

Nothing in episode 3 makes sense. Awful plot, awful explanations, awful character development, awful ending.

Good for being low-budget. Sci-fi and script are decent

There are things that I liked and disliked about this movie so I'm going to break down:

Pros:

  • Loved the aliens
  • Liked the rather serious tone of the movie
  • Liked the fact that doesn't follow the stereotypical american format (lots of guns, explosions and excessive CGI)
  • Liked how they made the most out of their low budget
  • Liked the feeling of being hopeless
  • Liked the ending


Cons: -Poor sound effects (specially guns) -Lead actress did little to show emotion -I never quite understood why they didn't even had handguns at the beginning if they're supposed to be police. -There are some dumb scenes like when the lead character takes a shotgun that was just used in a double suicide for going after a guy instead of using her own gun, oh, wait, see point 3 above.

This movie was refreshing! The plot is slow, crude (in a good way), and full of nice and smooth plot twists. It feels so real, unlike hollywood crap...

I think this movie is underrated. I loved it. Great plot, great movie. I just they keep doing movies just like this one.

This is probably the most unrealistic movie I have ever seen. It's just an insult to intelligence.

Brainless unrealistic action full of cliches and forced humor in the best american format (lots of guns, explosions, fire, and uncountable violations of the laws of physics, to say the least.

0% science and really bad fiction

In theory, this show is supposed to be science-fiction. In reality, there's nothing realistic about science and even as fiction is not entertaining.

In a nutshell, the script is cheap and generic, the characters are also generic, the dialogues are dull, the effects are just standard CGI.

It makes me feel sorry for all the money wasted on this project.

Don't waste your time watching this.
