Tully (2018)
Honest Parenting, a great reminder
Great eye opening movie to the realm of parenting and family making, with awesome acting and a great plot twist!
Not everyone is qualified or suited to have children; despite the fact that all over the world, it's mostly unqualified people who are having children and surprising those who know nothing about parenting have the most children! They think like if it's just a game or it's like creating dolls so that mommy and daddy could play with when they're bored!!
It's not easy, it's not simple, it's not sweet, it sucks all your life and leaves you with exhaustion, boredom and repetition. It demands high level of responsibility and resistance!
It was a well made reminder to me to know how hard is to become a parent, most specifically a mother and to know that I should never have a child and live my life the way it is, since it's not promising in itself, let alone bringing an innocent being to this rotten world again for what?!!
Don't give birth, people. It's not doll playing... and I guarantee most of you are not informed about parenting anyhow, either!
Use birth control stuff for your own sake!
Besides, the world is over populated...why we keep ruining it more?!
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022)
More of a nightmare than a piece of art...!!
Worst movie I've ever watched, Oscar is lost in its own mess...
I personally was always that kind of a person who believed that certain type of mindset, old generation, so called "boomer" traditions (I don't like that label though) and stuff, are not necessarily right but there is for sure a boundary there which human being is missing it for good as time passes on!
Art is now being mocked and ridiculed by new rising mindsets.
If screenwriters used to try hard to stack certain incidents in a story in a way to not only give audiences a great point and message; but also bring us the beauty and art of storytelling without tiring everyone and mocking their sanity; then nowadays, a new hidden Agenda is rising by ourselves to take meanings out of everything and say: well, a 4-year-old child's idea for a story with a little bit of adulthood kinky tastes, can be a masterpiece as well, cause why not(!!!) ....
This is sad! This is literally too much... not even a comedy but just a Mockery!!
If we change all we'd experienced and all that we now call old, prejudicial, misogynistic, racist etc, etc, just in sake of Changing it for satisfaction of replacing it, then mankind's progression throughout history would be gone and pointless!!
If like we start to call two parallel lines on a piece of paper as "Art" then we have insulted and cheated on every single master artists throughout history who have spent all their lives to create beauty of "Art" by researching, studying and experimenting every single aspects of our world to get to that final point of mastery.
"Everything, Everywhere, All at once" is more of a nightmare in this way than a piece of art which had brought the most insane childish and lame ideas that one could ever imagine on screen and more shockingly, won most Oscar awards!!!
I can literally say if one can make This and harvest all prizes, then if they give me enough money, I can write and direct a dreadful childish idea worst than anything you all could ever think about and to add a bit of reason just in case, give it some sort of ending message of "leave your children alone, stop controlling them, accept their differences" and as it seems, possibly for next Oscar, they'd give me all the rest prizes that Oscar 2023 gave to other projects (maybe unwillingly, seems like in their hearts they wanted to give them to "Everything, Everywhere, All at once", even animated feature(!!!), yeah, cause, why not? I guess the scenario is: Let's change how we perceive animations(!!!)...) and literally harvesting all with no single one remaining...
There were potentially better nominees in every single part that this movie won it...
It's just terrifying to think about the future of the the Art of Cinema even for me who was always avoiding being fanatic...
Anyway, just don't waste your time on this, there are seriously real masterpieces out there which are getting ignored cause mankind is missing the point somewhere...
Holy Spider (2022)
**Not bad, but good potential overlooked**
Not a bad movie, yet it has flaws here and there with some gaps.
As a thriller movie, to be honest I was expecting it to have more tension; like serious ones, but every scene that has real potentials and tries to give you the sense, it fails unexpectedly. The killer doesn't give the sense of being a serial killer!
He was a religious psycho having a family and normal life by days but by nights, he was a brutal murderer. Yet in the movie(at crime scenes)he acts a bit stupid, naïve and anxious! As I mentioned above, in times that you expect some real thriller, the movie doesn't propose a real tension and fear from the killer and it folds it so quickly and raw... good potentials are wasted this way.
One flaw was the depiction of society over the crime! It's literally over exaggerated! It's one sided, cause the movie doesn't show normal people's reaction at all, when the news was spread out! Only one journalist with a doubtful coward friend are considered bright minded who are the only people who got brains to think and feelings towards victims! It's limited to few individuals! While then it tries to show local people loved the killer as a hero! This gives a wrong depiction of the society as a dump, brainless wild one! We're not like that, normal People don't support a serial killer.
It would have been more real if there'd be balanced portrayal of reality, specially when it's inspired by true story.
But anyway, generally speaking, it's not a bad movie. The regime advocates try to say it's awful, it's insult, blah blah blah! Don't listen to them, they used to talk nonsense for their entire life; yet on the other hand don't get fooled by depictions of Iranians living in a horrific realm of brainless zambies who clap for killers with men mostly dumps being stalkers, abusers and womanizers who have imprisoned all women!! It's not true.
Bones and All (2022)
Complete disturbing waste of time!
I don't know what's wrong with people...
They've come to say there are deep meanings beneath disturbing scenes and blah blah blah!!
Dude the movie is not even in horror genre! It's in drama/romance but with cannibalism!
Do we really need to get in to that topic to put some deep meanings beneath?! Isn't the world enough crazy and dangerous and horrible already?!
Now we go showing love and human differences, identity, etc with such skin upon it?!!!
It's different when you see scenes like those at the villain and bad side of a show compare to ones in good and normal side... it's all in our brains! The brain calculations and feel of empathy towards the characters differ based on the point of view.
Fans may say; well if you don't like it then don't watch it, but, man! It's about you who loved it, otherwise We passed it all at once already! You who get chill from this, if it's normal to you, you should take more care and start to be kinder with other people! Believe it or not, it has effects on your brain, watching disturbing scenes, cannibalism as normal and enjoyable is not good, seriously...
Please don't get used to watch such things, people! Don't normalize it, put some borders for yourselves, the world is not pretty out there...
1899 (2022)
If you turn your head away for a sec, you may lose a point!
This is really a thing about this series, every moment has a point, any break, any distraction away from it may push you to more confusion as it is itself a confusing story!
There are not much of these genre and atmosphere in the industry and as a fan of such, I should say "1899" has nailed it!
So much engaging that made me feel like I myself am one of those confused characters of the story. Every episode reveals a new secret of the show and makes you feel like you're understanding it but yet the puzzle doesn't solve; like somehow the show is actually trying to point it out as well; a never ending loop of confusion, a never answered question about our existence, life and the identity and the essence of Reality.
Even after the end of the season, as the last episode shows a lot about what's going on, it's still intact with much more questions that are not answered yet...
I really hope there'd be next seasons!
One of the best series I've ever watched.
A Day to Die (2022)
So awful and potentially Amateurish!!
I just wasted my time over this one and only because of Bruce Willis, but nope, he doesn't even add a single good moment in this film!
Everything is just so wrong in this movie, camera angles are awful, it's like men are fighting and shooting at each other and the camera shows the zipper of a man's jacket! In the very first hostage scene, a man is just thrown off a building because of a mine explosion while he was standing at the very center of the floor! And guess what, he survived that!! All his men died but he survived like the Hulk who always got thrown away from long distances but again stands up!!!
SFX are so bad and really wrong, blood just splashes out of people's body in a way like they want to paint pure colors on the wall!! Explosions are so bad and even at shots inside the cars, the environment outside the cars being seen from windows are too obviously artificial, Blurry and not shaped in the real place! They were all annoying and really really amateur!
The story is too loose, innocent people get killed and yet no one cares, cause you know; the main good people of the story kill them(!!!), main characters just try to kill the Policemen and so suddenly they run easily out of the combat and not only that, they fly away of the country! They don't even care about the mess they made! They just become friends with a dangerous drug dealer at the end like if he was innocent the whole time while the whole movie wanted to show that he not only produces drugs and works with a corrupted politician and creates a lot of mess, but also kidnaps a former DEA officer's wife,... etc!!
Just don't waste your time, it's really awful!
The Father (2020)
A person's point of view struggling with Dementia
I got emotional throughout the movie, I've seen my grandfather at the same situation and I honestly can understand how these people's families may feel while taking care of their father or mother that are losing their mind, it's potentially sad and horrifying to see that your dad or mom no longer recognizes you and does strange things and suddenly starts to talk about something from their deep mind and their past that you have no clue what they're saying; but the fact is that none of us have ever realized what life would be like from the point of view of the person struggling with memory loss; and here in "The Father" movie you can completely relate to this...
Sir "Anthony Hopkins" acting in this role is fantastic, he really deserves his Oscar for his performance!
The confusion of time, recognition of family and other people and at the same time understanding the fact that something is not right here and every now and then realizing that nothing is at it's right place as you have thought that it should be, while you understand your environment and you may feel healthy but your mind is going off, makes this illness thousand times more horrific and sad...
I remember once I heard a quote saying: "When human being gets old, they become a kid again..."
and you can see that in Anthony's(the character) behaviors...
The film confuses you till near end in all the scenes, because that's how mind loss and Alzheimer is like if you put yourself inside the person struggling with it...
It was a really great and stunning movie and personally I loved it so much and got emotional and tearful at the most of it...
Cycle of life is really wild and sad when it gets to one's near end...
I hope scientists find a cure for all sorts of Dementia, Specially Alzheimer and memory loss and no human being experience them any more...
The Unforgivable (2021)
Teaching Forgiveness...
What a great movie, Loved it.
Sandra Bullock did her best performance again, the broken soul of a woman who spent most of her golden ages in prison for something that technically she had not done but she was responsible for, can be completely seen in her face, such a great actress!
We all have to learn forgiveness, giving life toward other people and stop judging them while we don't know exactly what has gone through their lives in their past, specially when those who are being judged for their mistakes have been punished for it and only want to begin a new life...
The roughness of this world and the way of human life is highly tough enough to break one's back through this way so it's better not to break it harder ourselves while we can show our humanity, kindness, and forgiveness; though this does not mean that we have the right to leave the crimes out there and forgive a serial killer who enjoys killing people, but the fact that there are so many cases that a crime has occurred without an intention like an accident or such or maybe there were potential mistakes, can not be denied either, but on the other hand, people are used to judge others while they don't have any clue of what they're doing or is it right or wrong, it's been here for thousands of years, in every nations and cultures.
We have to train ourselves not to judge people and present our forgiveness, kindness and love toward other people more than ever as it is the only sacred thing in this world; "loving each other".
The Aeronauts (2019)
Gender swap in a scientific true story???!!!!!
After I saw it, I got delighted and enjoyed how it went on a scientific story and because I had no pre knowledge of the real event, I got so excited that how much Women had influenced our world despite so many years of mistaken thoughts about women unable to do huge important tasks! The fact is that there were so many of these kinds of women for real throughout history that showed their potentials and braveries to the man dominated world, BUT here in this movie, there had been a really really awful mistake for fictionalizing such an event and gender swapping(!!) Which after I searched and realized the real story, I got nearly disappointed of such a lie in this show!!
There was no any woman in that journey in real life and two men scientists were involved there, so why would anyone omit a real person(Henry Coxwell) who had done great things there and risked his life for the progression of science and replace it with a fictional person who is a woman of imaginary?!!! This is a kind of disrespect to the scientists of human being history! Why do literally everyone in this industry try to gender/race/sexual orientation Swap anything they have got?!!! What's wrong with you? Why you don't show the reality when you go to produce something based on truth?! Fictional stories are there for real and everyone enjoys them! There is no need to change history and insult our historical individuals! We had men and women in all races and nations who had done great things for human life, we can portray them to show and teach new generations!
The fictionalization doesn't stop here in gender swap but also goes beyond by showing the way that Amelia climbed up the ballon and did all of those!!! Like these new repetitive superhero movies!!
To me, "The Aeronauts" could be a great movie if the accuracy was the principle! Generally it was not bad and had real potentials, but they decided to make it a bad one by following the new stupid way of movie production which is the term "swapping" everything and everyone in every single piece of this universe!!!!! "Originality" is no longer respected and stories are going all flat and according to a special political belief!
The industry is falling down this way in my opinion...
I was excited at the first place for this one, even after I watched it all, I was ok, but once I searched the real, it turned out to a big NOPE, so sad!! At least there could be an announcement of its dozens of fictionality! Most of the audiences have no clue of the real story as me and may have believed it somehow...
The Harder They Fall (2021)
The movie itself has harder fallen...
Honestly I saw Idris Alba is in the cast so I wanted to watch it(he is one of my favorite actors), but then after some minutes I got disappointed... basically it's fun to have a kind of fictional movie of western theme which is not based on history for sure, but this one has gone too far...
I was expecting that despite the cruel history of African-American people in Those years, we may face a new 2021 western movie that could represent you black skin characters who have made something out of life even in those dark ages like the movie "Django" or "Magnificent 7", but No, this one only turned out to be a potentially fictional story of a black skin universe!
Everything is reversed and the country is somehow conquered by African-American people.
To be honest, I think it's a new modern kind of racism that is about to reverse everything on this planet only based on skin color and sexual orientation! And despite its motto, it is admitting the differences and bolds them and causes more hate! The originality is no longer respected in nowadays movies, we are only facing old original stories and their environment in reversed world which man turned to woman, woman turned to man, straight turned to gay, white turned to black, black turned to white, etc. This is not how human beings should fight these issues...!
Anyway, back to the movie, it is in a weird Western theme that even doesn't chills you with it's music(despite other movies of this genre) cause this one gives you mostly Rap music(!!!!) while showing you the wild west! It doesn't match At ALL! It makes you feel confused and suddenly bored and tired...
On the other hand, some actors just act so flat in a way that assures you they're gonna make it more off a good movie of this genre!
I'm not racist; I even never have felt it cause I believe in equality and I live in a country with equal race culture and long ancient history of mostly equality and anti slavery and I know that racism is an American- European problem but even as this kind of individual who was hyped for this movie because of Idris Alba, I felt like it's too much!
Wild west of all black people who live in all colorful buildings and towns while white ones live in towns which even their soil is white(I don't know what it wanted to show but it was a bit like an offensive term), plus some flat acting and rap music and the storyline of only bad guys who only kill and kill and kill with no reason, is really off the edge...
The Suicide Squad (2021)
Loose and childish...
I was really waiting for this movie and now that I watched it, literally I feel like I never wanted such a thing!!
It's so so childish with loose script that a lot of violence and gore has been added to make it a movie for adults! And with so much bugs if you focus on every moments; Like the combats in jungle that were arranged as if the camera shows every single soldier relaxing even while their friends are getting killed some inches behind them and no any sound attracts them to look around till it comes for them to die(!!) and then it begins really harsh!! The extra and Supporting actors(soldiers and ordinary people) were acting like NPCs in a video game who just walk around with no purpose and some times do wrong postures with so much low artificial intelligence cause as an example in jungle scene they're friends were being killed and shouting out(even two of them were on fire shouting!!), and literally none of the other ones show any reaction until "Peacemaker" and "Bloodsport" put some steps more and the camera gets there!!! That's not the way that Hollywood movies are!! These are way too bad for such a great professional industry! Don't look at the high scores! Can't understand what they've obsessed with(other than great actors that I admit, too)!
The looseness of the script adds more bad effects on the experience of watching! It's really really childish with characters deciding for a task in a foolish way like when a guy shows toughness and act like a gangster but then suddenly becomes friendly with no reason and even not in a funny way!!! Or the whole story of killing a big starfish(!!) which has been brought from space(!!)! Real colorful intelligent starfish? Like an alien!! From Space?! What the actual heck is that?!! There's no any connection between them! That's totally childish but with a lot of violence and blood and combats and stuff to fake it for adults!!
In one seen "Bloodsport" tells "Harley Quinn" to take the high ground and Harley jumps up around 10 feet distance on her legs to go up a building with an artificial physics!!!! Like those Chinese movies that Kong Fu masters levitate like they're flying!!! What was that actually?!!! Harley is not Superman to point out his fist and go up in sky!! She is an expert in sudden fights, no any super power!! That made her strange in that moment
There are way too much than that, seems like superhero and villain movies are getting foolish with so much budgets as the time passes on...
I was so excited for this one to watch Margot Robbie(Harley Quinn) and Idris Elba(Bloodsport) playing in it, but that was not what I thought it would be...
only Margot Robbie makes it funny and tasty to watch and just for her, thats all...
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021)
So-So, and not scary...
Not bad, not good either!
Personally I loved previous movies of this title, they're actually real horror movies, but not this one! It wasn't scary to me, not at all! Even a single moment of it...
But that was not bad either, just for fun of watching...
Ad Astra (2019)
It's a great different kind of movie in space genre
If you're just looking for those all the time Si-Fi and space movies which are too much away of what in the actual world may seem to occur in anytime(however, its ok and I'm fan of them too), then this is not your favorite; cause the storyline goes a bit slow but it's according to what you may encounter in real life maybe some decades later in future.
But what makes it a lot more attractive(at least to me who am a big fan of this genre), is the true story of human kind and their ambitious passions and desires which strongly puts them in an endless not valuable imaginaries to think that it becomes true one day, though the reality is in front of us all and in a different aspect of life that we all may pass it by so easily... I really liked the philosophy behind the story and that was really amazing to me!
In my opinion, there should be great teaching points in movies along side their visual attractions and those which are more popular due to younger people's desires, are going a bit too much to a "pointless just for fun way" nowadays...
Never Rarely Sometimes Always (2020)
A truth behind an ordinary not focused matter
First of all I should say I'm a guy and I really recommend all men; mostly the young ones to watch this great movie of a terrifying matter which not many youth(boys and girls) may have ever thought about!
Beside well made technical points and these two starring talented teenage actresses, the story is really touching.
For many people, the relationship between male and female individuals after getting close to adulthood ages are only abridged in sexual parts and the enjoyable moments of having sex with another person without accepting the responsibilities of following circumstances and even just playing with the heart of one's partner who has just believed that it's the true love though it's not, and it's really clear that in most cases, the heart broken one is the girl and the guilty is precisely the boy who has just played with a pure teenage girl and the only thing that mattered for him was actually "sex". On the other hand, seeking for love may lead both girls and boys to fell in some kinda wells which there may not be a way out and make the rest of their lives to become a pain and full of depression, so it depends on both girls and boys to really understand what "True Love" is, not just by getting into a relationship which is full of lying promises only for the sake of leading it to Bed!
However, according to different cultures and countries, the goal of a relationship may differ! Personally for me and my people's culture; the point of experiencing new things like having sex and relationships just as only a joyful experience for a period of time in ages around 15 to 30 is not a good admiring matter! As it's like about using drugs and stuff in these ages which we all may have seen in western culture it's an accepted casual thing!! But it doesn't mean that people have this freedom to threaten and force girls(or in rare cases; boys) to have sex with their own style( like without protections) just because in that moment the amount of their hormones have raised up! And then leaving them alone after they've got to their goals! It's inhumanity and that's exactly why we see so much humanity issues everywhere!
As an example, In this movie a guy in the bus feels like he loves "Skylar" and tries to flirt with her all the time, but what's the real goal of that? The plot tells you that just near end: "having sexual relationship!" It bothered me a lot once I saw that they had no money for the rest of their journey and no way to go at night in a big strange city like New York and when they ask for money, the guy tries to show a sign to her by ridiculous words as it means that it costs her something which she really didn't tend to have! And what makes it worst as I'm a guy, is that it really is a terrifying reality which made me to cry a bit as I was thinking about it while watching! Man, it's awful, it's disgusting that some of us are that much cruel( yes I say cruel cause if they refuse, then these men don't help and get mad or maybe in some cases they try to rape! It's like a dirty deal for these disgusting men even to help another person) and selfish and only care about the sexuality more than anything and even when a woman is really in need, some of us become evils to use it for our own goals!! It has made all societies abusing and unsafe for girls in many cases we all have seen everywhere! It's like we're forcing some of them who has experienced such a thing to hate their own gender...
I think mankind really needs to evolve more and more in cultural and humanity parts cause we're still really away from our perfection utopias!
Anyway, we have to admit that abortion is really essential in some cases and I don't believe we have to forcefully by some laws, keep a creature which is not formed well as a human by some logics and then destroying an adult's life who can live a life better if it all goes well as their intentions... at least we may consider it as a valuable saving between two.
By the way, ladies, please be wise about your choices as relationships. Surely not all men are bad, but those who are, try more to give you lying promises so that they can keep you for a while!
A gentle and nice person doesn't need to promise some lies! He does what it has to be done just right away! That's the true love for both genders of course, love of humanity and love of a relationship...
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)
The script is more likely to adapt the same cliches we all see in so many movies!
Personally, I loved the previous movie "Maleficent", but this one didn't surprise me like that; honestly the script and the whole story is full of cliches which you can find in most fantasy movies so it makes the whole movie to be foreseeable and very loose...
Vivarium (2019)
It's all about life of ordinary people
I've just realized some times ago that all these movies which point out the difficulty of life for poor people, mental loners and ordinary ones in a way which not everyone gets the point; are low rated by those who just watch movies for a junk moment of spending time for a cute life lover story and all in good shapes!! It's obvious, cause they don't and would never understand it!
Cycle of life as it is true for ordinary ones and it is mentioned in Vivarium, is not what rich or overrated optimistic people tell us about! The savage all day effort for making a good living or just getting away of that hard disgusting situation which is made by those who promise a great life to us, finally leads us all to death without approaching even a bit and consumes all days, months and years of our life without our intention and desire for it, As Jemma mentioned once in Vivarium; the only thing they wanted was to buy a house!
Cycle of life nowadays is savage for most humans, but is not seen by rich in one way(which can be reformed of course, but needs more humanity sense) and by greedy awful lying promisers in another way, they just get back to their greedily instincts of forcing people to do something even by telling them beautiful wicked lies, they're like aliens and not humans, like those Martins of Vivarium who just replace the last one and keep doing the same job, cause they're aliens of disgusting inhumanity instincts...
This terrible cruel life that we made for ourselves in this world and force poorer ones to keep running along us, will finally make them die and makes us to become some kinds of species who are not humans anymore!
Lastly, I think we may say to those who think Vivarium is a bad movie and ask us about the point of it, as Joker told that psychologist in Gotham madhouse: "You Wouldn't Get It!"
Knock Knock (2015)
No reason for anything!
The movie has no any purposes, it's just a movie to show you a forceful nude scene to say there we have it; like other ones, and to show the actor's talents!
The girls are insane with no reason( and it never tells you why) they were spying Evan and his family for a couple of time, but the story doesn't tell you how and why on earth they did it!!!
It tries to give you some clues that the girls want to show that every and by all it means; ALL men are cheaters and somehow it is accepted in movie cause Evan as a good man, husband and father justified it as a free pizza!
But let's consider that this is not the point, then the movie has nothing to say but to propose you two harlequins and a simple family man.. so in this case, you can watch it, just watch to spend time and nothing more... :/
Gemini Man (2019)
The crew might have liked more to make an animation rather than a movie...
Loose storyline, too many CG where it wasn't supposed to have in some scenes! They can obviously be distinguished...
The Witcher (2019)
No difference for season 2, then it fails...
I'm a big fan of Witcher games and story, so as a supporter, I have to say that if it goes like this for next seasons, there'd be absolutely a big failure for the "Witcher" title. Don't make a mistake, I don't mean that this season is dumb, although it is, to some extent :/ but I enjoyed watching it for some points and despite our opinion as game fans, for cast selections; I can say they've done it acceptable somehow...
BUT after all, so much faults and mistakes were floating over all episodes, like that annoying blurry circling THING over the picture which I can't find any reason for it. Or the most famous one which is the CGI works that absolutely ruins everything for audiences! They were terrible, much less than the average of other Hollywood projects!
The worst one among all of them was the Dragon in episode 6( Episode 6 was the worst totally), What was that exactly?!! a dragon without chick that speaks by doing Telepathy and can't even kill few swordsmen and sets fire in a way that looks like a juggler is firing incendiary liquid in his mouth in a circus!!! That was ridiculous, or the angle which the actors were looking at the dragon; that was awfully wrong and not shaped!! even the environment perks, mostly for plants and snow which were really artificial in some scenes, no tricks!
These must be fixed for next season!
By the way, I think it's a terrifying insult to audiences when many Hollywood movies and series focus on sexual scenes and nudity much more than any other elements to attract people, There are so many sites to show nudes and pornography to people! Ok? so why doesn't anyone just make a real movie; farther away from only these elements...
We came to watch Movie and series not just some sorts of nudity and sex! They were too much! You have to completely be a watchman and look around so that a child don't jump in or your parents come and do carpet-bombing over your room!
I know it can possibly give a taste to the display, I don't deny it and I know that romance is needed too, and even I accept that the Witcher story itself has lots of these kinds, but when you only take one part and then leave the other important elements, it doesn't lead to a reasonable ending!
from episode 1 to the last, there are sex and nudity and brothels and relationships and romances(!!), but as Geralt of Rivia, there are no fights and actions!! Geralt is going on and on and all those fights are ended shown and the scene starts with him at a place that he has done the work and has came back to get his money! We came to watch that work exactly! It's Witcher pals!! Have you forgot it?!!
They say they were out of enough budgets but it's not fair! There are movies which had even lower amount than this project but they've done well...
But at last, with all lacks and problems, It showed that this project has the potential to make a perfect Witcher for everyone no matter you're a fan of the games or the books or even if you're just new to all of that...
I hope next seasons would become better and better... :))
Joker (2019)
Exactly the real Joker..!
I've watched this movie three times and every time I felt more close to Arthur(Joker)!
As I've found that some didn't like this movie, even the high level criticizers, in my opinion the reason is mostly because they couldn't attach themselves with this character as a poor mentally ill person which in "Joker" words; " the society abandons him and treats him like trash" or maybe the slow process of storyline has bothered them or even they are from a capitalist class, or...etc. but whatever is their reason, the truth is that those people who are from a poor and mid class, felt more closely to this character which is fortunately and by master chosen, played by "Joaquin Phoenix".
This intention for making a riot against capitalist class who consider themselves the saviors with a kind of society that believes that too, and cruelty and inhumanity comes out of it, is touchable in all cultures and countries nowadays.
These are all about the story part which had made the whole story to change in our minds that maybe the HERO is Joker, not Batman who is a son of that capitalist class(I don't mean what Joker's ideology leads to be, is right and perfect, of course not; but the feeling Inside is really close to him).
These politicians and capitalists are all making millions of "Jokers" all over the world and It'd be interesting to say at least in my country, those who didn't like this movie are mostly the wealthy people and their supporters!! (not all of them, for sure).
Beside all I said about the story and the philosophy behind it( which is my own concept), I think everything else is good about this movie. Who can deny Joaquin Phoenix perfect acting??! Or what would be wrong about the direction and other parts, maybe some miner things but those can really be overlooked or as an audience, not really important.
It wasn't just an introduction for the past of Batman and his hateful enemies, but an introduction for "Joker" side and view of the whole story that changes the belief of being against this character to be like something in his side...!
As a criticism to be fair, it lacked one thing for me and that was the time which was spent for "Joker", I think the movie needed one more hour after the hospital scene... :)
Anyway, at last I hope a lot for Mr. Phoenix, Mr. Philips and all the movie people for the Oscar ceremony 2020.
1917 (2019)
Perfect Non-stop narration of a world war story...
How amazing it was from the first scene to the end( to me)! There're lots of world war movies out there and many are perfect though, but this one to me and for sure many others till now; was one of the best among all, this kind of non-stop narration that rarely the scenes seem to be changed like it doesn't change at all and the process goes through the end from only one view( I don't know if there's an specific word for this kind or not) makes it a perfect movie that forces you to sit back and follow the story and feel like you're the third person of the scene as a soul beside them and feel everything they do! Maybe others would say: "oh! Come on, this is not all that!" But it really is for me and the fans maybe. It could feel even better if more action scenes would come across, for sure.
So, Everything was good; it has some faults of course, in some scenes like when Blake was dying and was talking to Schofield and then two soldiers came through, and at the road, vehicles and soldiers were struggling with the trunk, I asked myself how fast it could happen and none of them could hear the voices, I mean that was really fast! It could take longer for all those vehicles to arrive there and spread over that land, so that they wouldn't seem to be acting obviously after the director allows them when the camera came through the road!!
But anyway, totally it's one of the best.
I loved it!
Marriage Story (2019)
"Just Perfect" , but not for everyone's style!
Everything is really good about this movie, I don't know why some think the opposite unreasonably! The acting, directing, all processing is perfect, you can feel every moments with the characters and their senses in case of reactions...
And the story is actually a truth in everyday life all over the world in every cultures and countries; this kind of stupidity which lots of couples have and in this case it leads to divorce, is over than any particular culture and everyone can feel it as if they see everywhere... these are actually clear and there's even more... it's just another kind of perfect movie about relationships and miss understanding of both genders about each other; Well, actually it seems to me.
I loved it.
Midsommar (2019)
Good,bad,mad,terrifying at the same time...!
Well I was just thinking that if there could be two more hours, I would possibly get mad and become suspicious to everyone around myself; totally those whose actions seems to be something out of this planet, which we all had met them at least once...!
"Midsommar" might not be a public popular movie as the madness, illness, illusion and such has completely organized its base. It bothers your feelings most of the time, and keeps you in a suspended circumstance which forces you not to have any idea about the next event... really terrific and worth enough to watch it in this case(well, not for madness of course :/ ) But beside them, there are some kinda faults in it... For instance the reason and just the only one for which they didn't leave the village after those elders suiasided, why they kept staying? For what reasonable and logic reason? no any clue! that is just to make the story keeping on! Why would anyone stay in such a madhouse?!
and even the traditions of the village is another hilarious point which was organized just for storyline!! Imagine In an European country, in technology and communication era, there be a secret village with so many strange traditions and for God sake, no one in the world would know about them with their disgusting masacare!!! How possible?!
I know it's only a story organized in a post modern folk horror genre and they have meanings though; but even in this case, these defects are not admirable and they bother you whole the time you're watching!
I think the story goes on in a way which it tries to surprise the audiences till end and it does so, as we can see whole the time specially the last scene that it acted like a wildling and ended harshly! but those unforgettable deficiencies and of course the madness of it, feels like you don't like to watch it again or suggest it to anyone else but at the same time you wanna do it,too... :/
The Nun (2018)
Amazing religious horror with a few lacks...
Actually all religious horrors would be exciting with all those dark palaces and churches, religion prayers and etc, which they try to make the audiences sit back and drown in the scenes with full of reliance and confidence about those religious things and works which have been considered as trustworthy ones to avoid evils and such so that we keep relying one them while the characters are doing them and suddenly we see that ; no, sometimes they do not work as easy as we were expecting and even the evils are more powerful, too.
so that's the time which you feel some fear and more attracted in the movie and that's really amazing...
But, beside them, sometimes somethings go wrong and make these kinds of movies to experience an unwanted lacking...
The Nun is one of them, which made me really amazed and I liked it, but there were lack of something in that, like "not having a unite storyline and jumping too much for some scenes....
but totally That was a good experience!
Interstellar (2014)
JUST WATCH IT DEEPLY...!
Everyone should watch this movie, I mean it!
One of the greatest movies I've ever seen.
You'll find yourself mind blown at the end and drown in thoughts which gives you an intention to watch it several times again!!
