Cabrini (2024)
Well-made, great acting, and best of all, a true story!
I love true stories of people accomplishing great things, especially when they must overcome the odds against them. This was the case in the movie "Cabrini," an inspiring, motivating, suspenseful movie about a real woman and the good she accomplished through determination, persistence, and faith. It made me feel like I should be doing more with my life, but in a good way, not a way that made me feel small. We need to focus more on people who have overcome much in order to improve the lives of others and find happiness and satisfaction doing so. We need more movies like this, and fewer movies like the ones often produced.
After Death (2023)
Amazing documentary
This movie simply confirmed what I already felt about life after death, and did it very well. Speaking to people who have had this "after death" experience is the logical way to approach it, along with the clinical documentation that they were dead or put into a medically simulated type of death. The research done in these instances was thorough and very compelling. I was mesmerized and completely involved in the lives of the people they spoke with. Great job on the interviews, the reenactments, the visual and audible elements. Two thumbs up on doing a movie like this, which really makes people think about their choices in this life. What we do/say matters.
Sound of Freedom (2023)
I don't want to believe it, but I do.
Every parent's worst nightmare is a reality for some. How is that possible?! This is a hard reality to address. I admire Tim Ballard and James Caviezel's dedication to this plight. Caviezel did an amazing acting job-as always. Was I uncomfortable during parts of the movie? I was, and everyone should be!! There is nothing graphic, but you understand what's happening. We need to be more aware of these things and be watchful and alert with our own children and all children!! For this reason I recommend that you see this movie. It will help us all to be more vigilant. Beyond that, it was entertaining and held our attention for what is usually considered a very long movie.
