Edgar Wright at his best.
5 November 2021
Starting things off, this movie will be easily described as one of the best in 2021, because of a plenty reasons. The first one is obviously Edgar Wright's great directing style. Honestly, I cannot describe how many amazing shots I just witnessed in this picture, and how much they influence the story telling element of this movie. The second reason is Thomasin McKenzie and Anna Taylor-Joy, what a great performance from the couple of them. Both of them have the elements needed to become a great Hollywood superstar in the near or far future. The last reason is the beautiful, weird and that can make you confused sometimes theme of the movie that simply makes it unique and entertaining. On the other hand, with the all the things good in this movie, there is some negative aspects that we need to talk about. First, the predictable plot twists that are a joy to be experienced at the moment they were shown, but this feeling starts to quickly fades away when you realize that the reveal is hidden from the beginning, all you have to do is to pay attention to details. Second, the hidden agenda that affects the writing of any script nowadays in Hollywood. Seriously, how many times this will affect a movie and unconditionally affect the crew that are working at their best to achieve their dreams. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. And last but not least, the diversity of genres in this picture is confusing, I mean at the 1st act it was a horror movie, but in the 2nd it becomes a mystery one, I know that the purpose of the story is to solve a mystery in the past by a mentally ill girl, but I always prefer filmmakers to focus on one genre rather than making the viewer feel like he/she is watching two movies.

The Most Boring Action Movie I've Ever Watched
8 April 2020
Starting things off with the plot, in a matter of fact, the very lazy and lame plot, a plot that you don't actually understand and in the same time, you feel sad because is decent enough for a superhero movie, I know that it is the "Memento" version of a superhero movie, but the idea is cool and fine. However, the execution was weak and waste the potential of it.

Acting wise, or I should say, Eiza Gonzalez's wise, is also lame and sometimes wasteful, of time that is. Nothing to talk about especially when Vin Diesel is considered.

I don't have to talk about the cinematography or the script because there is nothing to talk about here. However, the movie actually manage to give us some decent editing skills.

Overall, another bad Vin Diesel production and seriously they have to stop this guy or tell Spielberg to cast him in one of his movies and help him see the right path of his career.

A "The Shawshank Redemption" wannabe that absolutely delivers, but with a lot of wasted potential.
3 April 2020
Starting things off with the plot, It was well-balanced and understandable enough when you consider the type of the movie. However, it lacks the dramatic side of the story and in some points throughout the movie, it starts to feel predictable, not to mention that sometimes the mission itself feels so much easy and not challenging rather than the opposite, as it should.

Acting wise, the movie gives some great roles with this category, especially when you consider Radcliffe's and Mark Leonard Winter's performances. However, Daniel Webber's one, it just feels pointless sometimes, not to mention that the movie in general didn't give much time for the actors to express themselves, especially Daniel Radcliffe who shows a lot of potential, but unfortunately get wasted.

Theme wise, the movie is also well-balanced and well-decorated, and hits on a powerful subject that everybody cares about. In addition to the fact that this picture is one of the best thriller movies made so far in the last 5 years or so.

The directing is decent, but as I mention, the time didn't give a chance for the director to express himself as well.

Last but not least, the movie is decent enough when consider the cinematography, the editing and of course the thrilling music used in some scenes that will be historical in the future, in addition to the scenes where music is not used, those are the perfect ones.

In general, the movie is not that unique, but definitely re-watchable due to the positive aspects I mentioned.

A great "full of messages" movie.
29 March 2020
Starting things off, these types of movies don't have a well "platformed" plot, but this picture shows us how you can change it smoothly in every single act.

Theme wise, the movie is special and wealthy with so many great messages and has the potential to be one of last year's best movies in this category.

Acting wise, the movie gives us some astonishing acting skills that absolutely delivers. However, sometimes it feels exaggerated especially when blood and sweat are evolved.

Considering the script, it is arguably the best picture that gives us a well established dialogue and so many hiding meanings.

Cinematography wise, it shows us some decent shots, but here the movie falls in the trap of repetitiveness which could be felt throughout the third act.

Overall, the movie is unique and with this much of meanings it is definitely re-watchable, so I am going to give an 8/10. Well Done Senior Galder

A well built story with a decent ending that changes the way the story ends at these typed sof movies.
27 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Starting things off with the plot, It is decent enough for a sport movie and well told though out this picture. However, you can see how it will be solved in the ending. This problem is especially noticed in the 2nd act and at the beginning of the 3rd one. In my point of view, predictability is the biggest issue in every sport movie especially when it is directed by Gavin O'Conner, but we will get to this point later.

Regarding the theme, It is the point that makes this movie a must-watch, such a great relationship between our main character and his players that touches every single student and every single young man who experience what our characters experienced.

Now let's talk about the acting, Ben Affleck is great, as always, but the movie lacks the affect of supporting roles, which is the problem in this aspect. Al Madrigal shows a lot of potential, unfortunately it get wasted with the lack of improvement for the character itself.

Directing wise, Gavin gives us a decent sport movie, but when you watched Warrior and how it changes this genre, you won't say so much about this movie other than "Decent". As I mentioned, predictability hurts sports movies, and that what Gavin tries to avoid in the ending, but not through out the picture.

At the end of the day, the movie is somewhat unique when you consider the theme of it and re-watchable if you are in the same age of these young characters.

One of the movies that leaves you confused after watching it.
21 March 2020
The movie starts very well with a mysterious feeling of events and some interesting characters, It continues very well with some exciting events and action sequences, until the big hit arrives which is the ending, the most underwhelming, disappointing finale of the year so far. This makes the plot uninteresting in general which makes the theme of the movie mostly naive, although it was very unpredictable in the beginning. Acting wise, the movie here hits its confusion point, some good, some bad, the problem is that the leading ones are the ones that makes this picture simply underwhelming. Especially, the leading actress, she plays the movie character that I simply hate, the cool and badass for no reason. All of that leads to a bad script performed by these characters. Directing wise, the movie wastes its potential of decent directing because of the elements I mentioned. Overall, the movie isn't that unique and simply unrewatchable.

A decently made, quite re-watchable and rich picture that defiantly delivers
9 March 2020
Starting things off with the plot, it is OK and by saying that I mean that it has the potential of being great, but they decided to actually make it similar enough to any "object-finding" movie. The theme however supports the plot very well with the family and friendship factors mixed with the idea of fighting against loneliness type of stories and that's a big plus. The big minus though is the score and uniqueness, both of these elements doesn't deliver too much, but what delivers too much is the acting and by saying acting I mean the legend himself Jim Carrey, welcome back my lord of laughter. Editing wise, the movie was decent enough same with the directing wise, a good start for Jeff Fowler. Last but not least, I want to praise Paramount for the decision of changing the whole main character look and listening to the audience. MY RESPECT. Overall, the movie deserves a 7/10 rating and now the stakes are high for the sequel so I am really feeling the excitement.

BOP: An inserted group of female-superheroes in the DCEU with a promising but ruined character of Harley Quinn
2 March 2020
A trashy made picture that has to much hype because of Margot Robbie's previous decent performance of the same character in a previous underwhelming movie that suddenly, literally out of nowhere, has a sequel about the same concept but without using men. Seriously, I don't understand the reason of making this movie, from the characters to the action sequences right to the story-telling method, all cheap, previously experienced and doesn't make any sense. Speaking of action, when did Harley learn to do fly kicks?, or at least hit somebody with her pair hands?. Again, no sense at all. The only way to describe this movie is, A horrible DC's X-Force wannabe. 5/10 is way way more than enough.

A Compromising Action and Comedy Experience that definitely worth to watch.
29 February 2020
This is the only movie of the series that actually makes sense because it has a compiling mix of action, comedy and the family stuff that Micheal Bay tried to portray in the last two. In addition, to a great performance by Martin Lawrence who was the MVP in my opinion, all these points are the positives. Now, let's talk about the negatives, first of all, this movie has too many plot twists that feels very inserted into the story just to avoid the possibility of its pointlessness. In addition, why did they add a witch to the story?, seriously this feels really pointless. I mean, I like the addition of the Teen Team, but other than that not very much. Considering the negatives and the positives, this movie deserves a 7/10 degree, and this way more than enough.

The Most Original Reboot of the 21st Century
29 February 2020
A breathtaking experience with a great performance from Elizabeth Moss and an awesome creation of action scenes portrayed by a promising director that I personally like so much after watching 'Upgrade'. All these elements made this picture a ones to watch and possibly one of the most underrated movies of the year. However, this didn't mean that it is full of positives and my only problem or negative point in this movie is the drama. If there was a little bit of it during the non-thriller scenes, the picture would be perfectly made. At the end, this the movie that you need to attend to in February. A Well Deserved 8/10 :)

WOW!!!!!! A Complete MASTERPIECE 👍💯
11 January 2020
One of the few movies that will make you regret that you stopped doing something one day, but in the same time. However, it will teach you to keep you going forward. I saw this in 2020, and I still think that it is the best movie I've ever seen, the way it is crafted makes feel ambitious about filmmaking in the future, plus the feeling of being a soldier as a viewer is fabulous. Honestly, I don't know what to say more about it, easily Best Picture of 2019, not only for GG, but for everybody who watched it.

The Best Original Story of 2019
30 December 2019
Easily, one of the best movies of the year, because of many aspects: First, the acting is awesome, really strong performances by everyone. Second, the story is very interesting. And last but not least, the sequence of events in this movie is one if the year's best. I mean, every act is great on its own, but if you put them all together, you will witness a Masterpiece, and if you watch any of them by itself, you will get an amazing short-film. Considering thd Oscars, this one is a strong nomination for Best Foreign Language Picture and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a nomination for The Best Picture award.

What More Can I Say, MASTERPIECE.
30 December 2019
The greatest movie of the year at every single aspect, whether the screenplay, the cinematography, the original score, everything is perfectly made, excuted and masterpieced. Considering the performance, I think Robert De Niro will be nominated for an Oscar, and by the way, this year's Best Performance In A Leading Role Oscar is absolutely NUTS, God there are so many big names. Al Pacino and 'The Returning' Joe Pesci are astonishing, but If I wanna pick someone to be nominated for a supporting role Oscar, I would pick Joe Pesci, not because he returned for this role, but because he is the guy who steals the show everytime he is on screen. And for those who says the movie is too long, you won't feel the length of it, because it is extremely entertaining. At the end of the day, A COMPLETE MASTERPIECE, that will 99.8% be the Best Picture of 2019, and about the 0.2%, its beacause I haven't watched Parasite and 1917 yet. However, I don't think that they will be that perfect.

Very Heartwarming and Pretty Fun
27 December 2019
Congrats to Awkwafina for her best performance in 2019, and the reason I am congratulating her is the fact that she was casted so many times in a large number of movies this year, and this one really stood out for her and can earn her an Oscar Nomination. The story itself is pretty good well excuted. However, the ending is pretty much expected, but it doesn't mean that the message won't be delivered, no it will and in addition, it will melt your heart down. To finish up my review, I want to talk about the Farewell's Family, which is the most beautiful thing in the movie, you just feel like you're part of it, and that's alone just made the movie extremely entertaining in a way.

One of the Greatest Experiences in 2019
27 December 2019
A great candidate and a challenging one for the title of 'Film Of The Year'. Honestly, this is a must-watch movie, and the reason is Taika Watiti, the man who reinvented Marvel's Thor franchise and because of him he became the first superhero in the MCU to have a quadrilogy. Seriously, every aspect is perfectly excuted, from the cinematography to the casting... Etc. However, let's stop for a few seconds in talk about the performances, Roman Griffin Davis, what a kid, amazing performance from a little boy who 💯 will have a bright future, I just can't wait to see him compete with Jacob Trembly for an Oscar in the future. Speaking of Oscars, this movie should at least be nominated for two or three ones, Best Picture, Best Male/Female Actor In A Supporting Role (Whether Scarlett Johansson. However, I don't think so because of Marriage Story. Or, Taika Watiti, yeah the director and the writer of the movie deserves to be nominated) and last but not least, Best Screenplay (Again Adolf Himself). Just Simply, WELL DONE.

Thank You Vince, Aaron and the rest of the The Breaking Bad's Crew
25 December 2019
I actually don't know what to say about this movie. However, I really enjoyed it and I really think that it is necessary to be made so again Thank you Vince Gilligan. Although it is called A Breaking Bad Movie, but sometimes while watching it I felt like it is an extended episode of the series which I think it is a negative. However, this will not affect the rating of the movie too much, just by one point, so I an giving it a 9/10 rating.

One of the Best Pictures of the Year
23 December 2019
An absolute great roller coaster of events that feels like a redemption for Adam Sandler (For all the movies he participated in) and the Safdie Brother (For the unrecognizable Good Time). This picture is great in every aspects, sound mixing, sequencing of events and especially performing, seriously Adam Sandler, where you've been hiding all of that talent man, a strong candidate for the best performance in a leading role this year. Although, this movie will show a lot of secrets about gambling, but it will be difficult for people who don't know anything about basketball, but the good thing is that it will show them the way of understanding what's going on. Last but not least, I got to give it the KG, seriously, he is a great actor and honestly I wish to see him performe more often in the future. Overall, I had a great time watching this one and it definitely deserves a 9/10 rating.

A Very Entertaining '10 Years Jump' Movie
23 December 2019
Honestly, It feels good to be back into the Zombieland world, I mean it feels good to be involved in a land full of rules set by a very loveable character in Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), a very interesting and entertaining character in Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) '#MVP_of_Zombieland' and a decent character who I used to enjoy her time on screen in Wichita (Emma Stone). However why on earth they decided to make a movie about whatever the name of Abigail's Breslin, I mean the story wasn't interesting at all, all that potential goes begging and wasted so easily because of the story. Overall, a good nostalgic movie with a 0/10 story, but an 8 or 9 out of 10 in performances (Except Little Jack) and entertainment, so it deserves a 7/10 rating.

The Creepiest, Most Outstanding Movie of The Year
21 December 2019
I don't think that, I will ever watch a stranger movie with a couple of amazing performances or I should say 'Oscar Worthy' ones, in my entire life. My first thoughts about this movie is a mix of strange and classy feelings, and by saying classy I mean the way this movie is being made. And by saying strange I mean the story that was written for it. Plus, I want to talk about the performances, two-person cast movie, and it is just enough to make it a great casting, just make the picture easily outstanding and certainly one of Pattinson or Dafoe will be, at least, nominated for an Oscar and actually, if one of them won, I won't be surprised, especially if it was Robert Pattinson, with all due respect to the Green Goblin himself, but The Next Batman really deserve it more, so a point for DC here, LOL. Overall, a movie definitely in talks at the Academy Awards, for it's great casting and classy way of making, an 8/10 rating is easily deserved.

A Decent Portrayal Plus An Oscar Worthy Performance Equals An Awesome Movie, Or is It?
13 December 2019
Starting things off with Renee Zellweger, she carries the movie on her back, she is the Joker in the actress's section. Seriously, she was so amazing, breathtaking and wonderful and definitely the best actress this year. Now, let's talk about the movie itself, it was ok, but sometimes it feels like it doesn't need to be made, but again, sometimes because when you consider Renee's performance, you instantly change your mind. I felt like I don't have to watch it, but I need to carry on, only because Renee is considered. Overall, A great biography, with an over-the-moon performance, A movie that definitely deserves an 8/10 rating. However, more than that, I don't think so.

A Decent Movie With A Very Charismatic Cast
12 December 2019
Honestly, I enjoyed it. However, sometimes I feel like I am rewatching the first one, which is fine, but not always. Plus, the idea of having a second one, feels unnecessary. Considering the cast, they did an awesome job in so many certain points through out the movie. The plot is Ok, and this is the most I can say about it. At the end of the day, an entertaining movie with a good enough story and an amazing characters. It deserves a 7/10 rating, but more than this, I don't think so.

Welcome Back Eddie 'Fu*king' Murphy!!!!
11 December 2019
The funniest untold story I've ever witnessed. An awesome way to describe the process of creating a motion picture and on top of that, the craziest and most entertaining performancee of the year, no doubt, Eddie Murphy. However, it is only fun and hilarious, I mean sometimes I feel like some characters doesn't take it seriously, or I should say, their performance was lacking some creativity, I mean if one or two more great performances, plus Eddie's one, this movie would easily be one of the best of the year. In addition, I have an issue with the first act, it just ended quickly. However, the next two was extremely entertaining. And again, this is the magic word 'entertaining' and that's why it deserves a 8/10 rating. Well Done Craig Brewer!

A Decent Jordan Peele's Horror With So Much Wasted Potential.
9 December 2019
Maybe the description doesn't fit with the rating and the reason behind that, is the fact that this rating is mostly given to Lupita Nyogo's performance. However, I actually enjoyed the the horror style of this picture and the plot is decent enough with a strong ending. So, in general, the movie is decent and mostly enjoyable. However, the lack of potential consideration makes it so close to be a mediocre movie, but Nakia saves the day to be considered as 2019's Best Horror Movie and one of 2019 best pictures, at least according to IGN.

One of the most entertaining and enjoyable pictures of the year
8 December 2019
That was a great time!! A simple high-school adventure comedy that has every element to be considered as one of the best movies of 2019. Seriously, although it feels weird saying it in a review for this one, but the performances are awesome, I mean a young cast with no potential, in my opinion, just got all the potential in the world for the near future, and I am eager to see all of them in future works. It's an 8 not a 9 or 10 because it lacks some seriousness and the ending is so predictable. However, it is fun and hilarious and I enjoyed it so much.

A Great Start for A Great Franchise
6 December 2019
An amazing first season for a series that attracts the attention for every Sci-Fi fan. At the beginning of the series, it feels like it is missing something, but moving forward it gets more interesting. However, not that interesting, and that's why it is a 'Great' start not 'Fantastic'. The sequence of events in general is fine enough to care about, the twists is the most interesting. How it is made is the biggest reason why this series is great and I think with S2 in the horizon, I can say that it will be one of the best series ever created, in this genre of course. The performances in general is very interesting to watch and feel, top to bottom, everybody do their job perfectly. Action sequences involving Jason Mamoa is the best thing about this series and I can't wait for S2 to start for seeing better one of them. The message is somewhat interesting, but not that much. Mixing all these factors together, I think a 8/10 is more than enough.
