Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999)
One of the greatest series on television ever
I have been locked into SVU for many many years and have been yet to be disappointed. The theme in and of itself is gripping, the storylines of each episode are so gripping you can't resist. Moreover, as a woman, I have learnt how to handle one of the worst traumas a living person can experience. If you're tempted to watch the show, let this review act as the motivation you need. The arcs each character undergoes is excellent. You will find yourself emotionally attached to each detective and victim alike. And the due process the ADAs will conduct shows an element of humanity most viewers will wish to attain.
The Office: Vandalism (2013)
Gum's gotten minty-er lately, have you noticed?
Nate is definitely one of my favourite fringe characters, I wish he had more screen time. This seasons is a huge reception to the mess that season 8 was.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: Our Words Will Not Be Heard (2021)
I loved it
I have to set myself apart from the mass of bad reviews. This episode was a very good watch. Yes there may be a strong push for a political outcry, but the case itself was gripping. Definitely worth the watch imo.
This Is Us: Brotherly Love (2021)
Yawn
I love the flashbacks per usual, but good grief! I'm exhausted by the numerous episodes of Randall's pity parties. He's an excellent character on the whole, but I don't want to keep playing the world's smallest violin for him over the same issues. Bring back the uplifting man we know and love.
Power: Scorched Earth (2019)
Good God!
One of the most riveting episodes of the series yet. The acting was among the best I've seen from the characters and events are escalating before my eyes. I'm eager to see how everything pans out.
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit: The Darkest Journey Home (2019)
What a drag!
I was so disappointed with this episode. Slow burner, no climax, and the storyline was so tired. The season had a strong start, hopefully it can recover after this bore of an episode.
Suits: Thunder Away (2019)
Edge of my seat
This episode is intense. Very well-constructed, well-scripted and has placed protagonists in emotional duress and their backs are against the wall. I'm itching to see how this all turns out and hopefully the ending will provide a satisfying ending to conclude the entire series. 10/10 without dispute.
