The Golden Girls: Brother, Can You Spare That Jacket? (1988)
Only GG episode to make me cry
I have to admit, the ending made me tear up quite a bit. It shows the true souls of these women. Makes me love their characters that much more. Kudos to everyone involved in making this episode, it's beautiful and very eye opening. This entire show, while very humorous, displays a lot of real world problems, yet in such a gentle and touching way. They were so ahead of their time. Now I'm not one to cry at a lot, but for some reason (I don't know what exactly that reason is) made me emotional. There's just something about the music and the shots they used that just hurt my soul. It reminded me how fortunate I am in life. And to never take anything for granted. I love my girls. I watch them every night before bed. I just completely forgot about this episode, it was bittersweet to rewatch.

Have tissues on-hand
I've never really been one to write reviews but this episode was just so perfect I felt obligated. As a trans man this episode really hit home in so many ways. I love that they're not only including all types of LGBTQ+ people, but showing the reality and the trauma that comes with it. I think the writers did an excellent job in visualizing all of that. I've loved the fosters from day one and this show just fills that gap right up.
