The Father (2020)
Anthony Hopkins is brilliant!
I never write reviews, but this movie shook me to the core! Anthony Hopkins is brilliant in his role, his performance left me breathless at times, especially towards the end. You can feel his pain. Olivia Coleman is also fantastic, there is so much emotion in her acting. This is by far the best movie I have seen in the last years and can only recommend it.
La vita è bella (1997)
Excellent
It's been quite a while since a movie was able to capture in such ways my attention. It's true that the sometimes funny approach to a rather difficult subject may be for some inappropriate. But to me it was this different approach which made me realize what a great movie this is. The actors play so well their roles, it seems as if they were actually inmates. The music does justice to the whole production and the emotions you live are breathtaking. The ending, although sad, is perfect. I couldn't have imagined a better one.
This movie has to be seen by a whole generation. No matter if past, present or future generations.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 (2011)
The grand finale
Ten years its been since we saw the first movie of what was going to become a huge success. I looked forward to each and every movie, but somehow I didn't look forward to Deathly Hallows: Part 2 knowing that it was going to be the last movie of the series I so much love.
There are not enough words to describe the roller coaster I experienced while sitting in the cinema watching the movie. Emotions were at their highest rate, tears rolled down my face. I was happy and sad at the same time.
But "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" is the best movie out of this series to have ever been made. It's wonderful to see how much Harry, Ron and Hermione got to grow up, how the actors managed to do such an incredible job, how the directors managed to bring everything to life. The movie is intense and beautiful in each and every way.
Earth (2007)
Beautiful.
Just finished watching it.
Amazingly beautiful scenery, beautiful stories, it really opens the eyes of someone regarding global warming. Our world is beautiful, each and every creature living on it makes it more beautiful. We should preserve as good as we can our environment. I could watch this documentary over and over again without getting bored, just not to forget how much animals are struggling these days to survive.
Disney has once again fascinated me as it always did with its unique way of describing things, of making me understand.
Show this documentary to everyone. Maybe we can change something. Make this world a better place.
