Heart warming & rise your happiness level. Why not more awards for this masterpiece ?!

Good entertainment but Halaam not reflecting the real Saudi people &culture. Even though some of the characteristics and incidents are well performed, it's for the sake of performance without meaning and I found it uncomfortable. Making sure no bomb each time before starting engine? Massive disco party in Danish Embassy ? Female Muslim doctor checking foreigner? Taxi driver with desire of democratic movement...... What? Where is the beautiful Isramic spirit of giving and welcoming? Not a single scene... Directors must have had unwilling bitter personal experiences in Saudi / with Arabic people.

It's American film for American people. I am very well convinced that most of the scenes were filmed in Morrocco, not in Saudi.

The best musical film ever and this is my new best favourite.

I'm not a fan of musical films which tends to have empy contents with extreme slow tempo. However this one, all the songs were expression of strong emotion, not singing for the sake of performing. We feel the passion for music, courage and individual lives through music.

Musical films are typically veeery simple and have extremely straight forward storyline. Dreamgirls can said to be modern film interm of plot as there are little swists keeping us well attracted.

That feeling when unbelievable things are happening with speed, the rush of adrenaline into big stages, just imagining how far can be reached... We build trust towards each charactors..then they betray us... Yet heartful and fully satisfying.

Sad to know there are lots of critics and haters.... They must have expected car chasings and gun fights. This film is a true musical!!! Amazing masterpiece couldnt be done any better !!!!! I would really love to go watch the real musical in theatre one day.

It's about life of Osamu Dazai and his masterpiece which is rated as the best modern Japanese novel.

He was the one and only, true charismatic genius with disorders. His nature of inappropriate immoral put him at the edge of human kind. At the peak of his sufferings from realness and conflicts, his wife decides to support him with pain at next level. He finally crosses line, breaking everything with no hesitation, allowing himself to be out of human kind existance.

The plot is following the story of "ningen shikkaku" and real life of the mad genius. However the story is not displayed with depth at the standard of the original novel.(2hrs film will never describe fully)

The castings couldn't be done any better, using all the biggest names perfectly matching the main charactors. The picture is amazing and must be rated very high.

(The film itself is great but I have to be strongly critic towards the writer and director. They used the biggest masterpiece written by legend with all the big names. They literally had the best materials. I feel offended to see them acting as if they have done phenomenal creation from zero. They filmed Japanese spirit but the beautiful mentality is forgotten by themselves in real life. )

Charming charactors (including UFOs), great option for family movie.

The expectable storyline will not surprise you, however it can give you kind of satisfaction for plot going just the way you wanted specially at the end for conclusion.

Highly entertaining old film with good tempo (rare) with twists.

It's a thriller!!! So don't read just sit and watch. Unless your looking for something deep /sensational to move your emotions, this won't go wrong. :)

Venice award winning ? Yes, the theme perfeftly matches and deserves, but not the way it turned out as I found it cheap. I'm film lover and don't want to be critic... Good film but must be said its overrated.

The film didn't draw me into the story well in the begging. Tempo was little slow and it ended just as imagined.

Regrettable as this could have been legendary masterpiece in term of the storyline with huge scale.

We see Shawshank copied lots of ideas from this film. Shawshank rated as one of the bests but Alcatraz is also top on its own. This underrated classic of real story must be watched.

***Worth reading Wikipedia after watching this film. It can enrich the film experience and we can feel the real story with feelings. The Anglins (They robbed banks, no killings) sending flowers to mom every year.. turning up to funerals as ladyboys... We cannot hate them...

I simply loved the scene of Hitler at modern live TV show. It was magic, giving me goose bumps. We surely feel the power of silence and his talent, great humanity which makes him so attractive&different from all others.

The "what if" interestingly filmed but scenes of Hitler being criticised by locals / confused crowds / selfie jams in modern days make you think. The content of movie is fiction and it can stay in our head, able to change&shape new perspectives. The real Hitler was certainly not "funny" like how he's described.

We see the intention of author and director positining politicaly right and ethnic nationalisms criticisirg on current issues. The film is intellegently expressing some ideas using mouth of Hitler, trying to eliminate immigrants.

It could have been one of the best masterpieces. However, I found it little soft. I wanted to see more aggression, pain and anger with depth of dark sides of emotions from isolation and hunger. Sensitive charactors closing social distance and emotional interactions between them are something worth paying attention to.

Forrester on bycicle... As if he is riding on top of soft smooth clouds in summer morning. =D

Well made, little hillalious. Some typical Thai charactors and "small problems" they face are enjoyable.

I read the original book written in japanese which was so touching and purified my soul. So my expectation for this film was very high. This film really did the best to put the story in 2 hrs+ and it was as good as I expected. The samurai split and love for family beautifully pictured.

Worth watching. Story of real people with real connection.

Good for easy relaxing fun. Nothing serious, just sit and laugh.
