Freud's Last Session (2023)
Historical fiction
I enjoyed this historical fiction about Lewis and Freud. In reality, they never met. Great historical fiction movie about an Atheist that is considered the father of psychology and a former Atheist Lewis. I like that at the end Lewis overcame his trauma unlike his polar opposite Freud that seem to repress everything while thinking Lewis was the one repressing. Fascinated about the controversy of Freud ever since I read about him for higher education going back to school by age 24 I took general psychology and later on, something told me my very first Lewis book and I read it. And always been a fan ever since.
The Creator (2023)
Don't like the storyline
Not a fan of another compromised corrupted agent storyline. But I do like how well made this movie is, the aesthetic look of what could be in the future for robots and AIs. Theatrically pleasing to watched. However, the story was very predictable as soon a she said the robots are her family that Maya is Nirmata. The creator, made perfect sense why it was titled this way as you watch along. Denzel son is quite a good actor himself. As good as his dad, so quite not disappointed with the acting scene. Ever wonder why the ship (USS Nomad) that does airstrike resembles to the shape of a vagina? More red flags than the story lol.
Ghosted (2023)
Action romantic comedy
My type of genre. It's witty fun and have a lot of humor to the mix. Glad I watched it at Apple TV usually dint watch a lot of movies since never catches my attention span and focus. But this movie starts slow and speeds up with all the humors in a serious movie comedy. Like I always say to deal with trauma we must have a sense of humor. Life is too short humor is a must also long as it is tasteful to capture plenty of audience. I recommend this movie for first time date nights. Hard to find a good comedy, whether it be a comedy thriller or a romantic action comedy. Hard to find all three in movie when a writer and producer just have moment of epiphany.
The Boys (2019)
Just watch for Jensen Ackles season 3
Why they had to drag this story for the ending to be the way it is? Soldier Boy was a little levelheaded character than Homelander. All that protection from Butcher because he promised his wife so the rape seed can high five the rapist? I like super soldier's manly remarks I don't think soldier boy is worst than homelander. I honest was going to stop watching this show but Jensen previously acted as Dean Winchester was on this third season was one of the actors so I gave it a shot and got disappointed.
All the Old Knives (2022)
Torn between two lovers
Great, barely like movies. But this is like reading a good book. You think they would have the best communication if they were coworkers and lovers, but the art of deceit is probably why the espionage game gets twisted in this story. Love over protects, while the dude wanted answers to his undying love over the chick; while she thought that she was good at investigating. I am sort of torn objectively if I see this as romantic, frienemy, or an espionage gone wrong like I know she had a second death that forever ptsd Celia after finding out the real answer from Henry. Besides how can Henry answer if she kept running away thinking she protected him? What's the moral of the story? Not lie between coworker and intimate partnership? Or keep everything professional? Lol well, written. Not sure why Henry couldn't see the game, talk about love is blind.
The Dark Side of the Moon (1990)
It's 2022
And America is no where like this movie vision lol except for the immorality America has become. Imbtv also said this was released on 2019, but the movie style looks a-lot older. This is why I am reviewing this movie.
The Education of Fredrick Fitzell (2020)
Almost like the butterfly effect
But this one has a confusing storyline where Fred was more in a state if delusion from either his past (flashbacks) that's occurring with his present reality, and harder to follow. Than the butterfly effect.
Afterlife of the Party (2021)
This movie was written well
And love that is family oriented, so any age can watch it.
The Tomorrow War (2021)
Great story
And fun to watch with the whole family. Literally a family story. Although, one critic with the advance tech the future has I don't understand why there was zero drones insight on that movie.
Nobody (2021)
Love it for what action movies are worth
I rate the action part of the movie as a 10, but the storyline as an 8. Love that this movie focused on action and not nudity.
Them (2021)
I thought this show was base on a true story
As soon as it started to become a horror Jordan Peele show. I am not saying crimes didn't happened back in the days in that time era, especially, racial tension plus mixed it with a horror I knew it was fictional than nonfiction. I gave it a five I rather watched real documentary of history since there's no background noise of trying to give you a heart attack.
Sky Rojo (2021)
I was hoping
This show was going to be a good action movie who is going to kill their predators, but 5 episodes later the show didn't got better. It's good to show people how predators think. The preview looks good but the actual show.
Boss Level (2020)
Frank Grillo has became the new cinematic
Action figure. This movie will become a cult classic. And I have not like a movie in a very long time.
Honest Thief (2020)
One of those moralistic movies
I haven't seen in a very long time. It's fresh seeing something different in a very immoral world of story telling.
I Care a Lot (2020)
Only going to rate this a 6
Great storyline. So she scam another scammer. The only difference is she plays her scam through the legal system while the person she scam not quite. Eh, tired of all the immoral storytelling modern world offers, even if it is written very well. Therefore, I dislike this story but will rate it a 6.
Terminal (2018)
I give it an 8/10
Because I knew they were twins and that the janitor was living a double life, but not clear in the drama of their revenge until the end. Like the rabbit hole theme.
Cursed (2020)
Visual was great
Storyline wasn't bad, but I didn't like the writer of this particular lady of the lake, Nimue, tweak too much of the Arthur story. If they followed the story of Arthur. Arthur is not her lover, although sge did marry one if his knight. And her child is Lancelot Arthur's prized companion knight who later will betray him. Why butcher a pretty good storyline already?
Absentia (2017)
Story telling is great
But Emily's character is not great. I don't understand why she has to open her legs for everyone.
Guns Akimbo (2019)
Not a bad cyberpunk movie.
I was entertained. It helped that it was funny not just action packed.
Into the Night (2020)
It's alright
Not a bad show, it has an alright story line that makes you focused to what's going on. It's a typical apocalyptic show concept of left behind, but all they're trying to do is keep alive.
The Enemies Within (2016)
Light communism
When Joel Frewa said that in Venezuela simple essentials like TP you can't find, sounds like today with this Pandemic lmao 🤦 Why does a journalist from New Zealand does better journalism than people that work in America? We can blame journalist who loves the idea of Socialism who does more opinion base reporting than factual investigations.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Sad, but good story
It's not what I expected the ending. But, the nature of humankind to survive, to thrive drive is seen in this movie. But the ending, it was unexpected; it's a pretty surprising ending. This movie could be a good discussion of reality, trust and the need for work.
Dead Rising: Watchtower (2015)
Nice
I am happy they didn't butcher this movie too much and tried to follow the story of the video game. Great casting on the characters, especially, the main character you can tell who is.
The Descent: Part 2 (2009)
Only horror flick I like
Because the victim fights back, however. I would have rate this movie as good as the first movie if the ending wasn't the way it ends. So, is there a part 3? Or the movie just ends that no good guy can solved this problem?
Kingdom (2019)
Confused
So, like the middle of the second season. I put a thumbs down oblivious without patience what was coming next. But as before, I remain my case that the story telling is amazing until the kid who wasn't blood related to the throne was saved by the gracious King. However the nurse-Doc surge the baby in the water letting the worms out, but towards the end he was still infected???? That story made no sense at all and doesn't add up. Instead of a 10 giving it an 8/10. Hoping the next season explains the occurrence that happened towards the endsof the kid's journey.
