Don't waste your time
17 February 2023
MNS has lost his touch. He can't do anything remotely close to what he did with the 6th sense, Lady In the Water and Signs.

None of the questions raised throughout the movie are answered. It's only designed to push a certain agenda for a certain alphabet groups.

This movie is a total waste of time. You can't relate to the characters. At times you'll find yourself wanting the bad guy to succeed.

If Titanic's re-release makes more money than this movie on its second week, that should tell you that this movie is pile of crap.

Do NOT waste your time! Do NOT waste your money! Please spare your sanity.

A Sub-par embarrsement! Matrix fans will hate it for sure
29 December 2021
This was a horrible horrible movie! There was waaaaaay too much talking and barely any action. If you're a matrix fan, YOU WILL hate it! If you've never seen a matrix movie before, you'll be confused and frustrated and therefore you will hate it.

I went for the wow factors and the fight scenes. Came out very disappointed. Fights sucked! There were no wow factors. The score was a made for TV Christmas movie style. The story was a dogs breakfast.

This movie was the worst $20 I've ever spend on IMAX.

Avoid wasting your money on this pile of brown stuff! See if you can borrow it for free from a friend on the internet.

It was very stupid! Did I mention there were lots and lots and lots and lots of mind numbing talking.

A fun and beautiful movie
2 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is fun and entertaining. Younger audiences will most certainly enjoy it. With a bit more editing, the movie could've easily been made into a rated G. Don't expect this movie to be a masterpiece.

The movie certainly has many flaws that adults will find unbearable. Including the fact that its is a clone/copy/spin off of Pirates of Caribbean.

Given that we live in modern times, Disney has decided to bank on inclusivity (obviously for monetary reasons) and take full advantage of including a LGBTQ character in this movie. The character is portrayed in a very stereotypical manner to provide extra comedic relief. It is more of an insult to the LGBTQ community as opposed to a nod.

If you want to watch this movie with your family that includes kids younger than 13, you need to watch it first and/or have the remote handy; so, you can fast forward the undesirable scenes.

It's a sequal. Lower your expectations.
31 July 2021
I played this movie for the kids in our family, thinking it should keep them busy for 1 hour and 37 minutes. I was sooooo wrong.

It did not hold/capture the attention of the kids nor the adults supervising. It was very boring. Those same kids watched the first one more than 10 times. Within the first 15 minutes or so, the kids wanted to watch the first one again.

I don't expect a kids movie to be a masterpiece but if their main audience have no interest watching this movie, then this is not a movie worth watching.

As a side note, the male characters have significantly dumb down when compared to the first movie.

Slow paced, not a SiFi but very well put together
18 July 2021
This movie should've been a western or set somewhere in the Australian outback during a time when Europeans first began settling foreign lands.

Mars as the setting for the movie misleads the audience; giving you an expectation for elements of science fiction. Unfortunately you'll find yourself utterly disappointed. There is no science, some fiction and certainly no special FX. Not to mention, the pace is excruciatingly slow.

That said the movie gets 3 stars for cinematography, score and acting!

Too boring for young people
12 July 2021
When you have unlimited redo, the sky is the limit. However, I don't believe the writers used the concept in a creative manner.

Older audience will most likely lose interest within the first 15 minutes. The movie might even be a bit boring for young people and teenagers. It has a lot of dialogue and not too much action and special FX for a science fiction movie.

That said, it could be a good date movie for some i.e. When the love boards get bored they could concentrate on each other.

Inaccurate acounts of history
2 July 2021
Great production value, but very inaccurate take on history. The amount of misinformation in this movie is beyond comprehension.

If you're a history buff, this movie will be an utter waste of time for you. You'll be left wondering why did they even make this move?!

Do not watch!

Too much profanity and gratuitous violence for a cartoon
7 April 2021
I guess everyone wants to imitate GOT these days. As a result the art of animation and storytelling takes a secondary role.

I wish it didn't have the unnecessary cussing and gory violence so that I could watch it with my kids.

This show will likely appeal to teenagers with limited life experience, but seasoned adults will hardly be amused.

I lift my home thearter couch fully satisfied

For a DCEU fan, The Snyder Cut is a the most satisfying movie ever released. The story line is captivating. The character development are very well sequenced. Personally, I watched it several times in its entirety. Every time admiration for Zack Snyder increased.

That said, I don't blame the WB execs for hiring Joss Whedon to add some humor and light things up. The move is literally very dark in tone and in image quality. It is a serious adult superhero movie.

I commend Joss for coming in med project and salvaging what was left as a dogs breakfast due to the conflicts between Zack and the WB execs.

If you're expecting it to be Thor Ragnarok, you'll be disappointed. If you're expecting a Snyder movie, and curious about what Snyder's vision was for this franchise, you'll be blown away! You might even shed some tears of joy!

Promotes all those irrational ism's like vegan, vegetarian etc without solid data
19 February 2021
About 10 minutes in, I realized this is a propaganda piece most likely sponsored by some vegan organization. When they told me that salmon and eggs are bad for me, i decided that i shouldn't waste further time on this BS.

So, immediately after I stopped watching, I fired up the bbq and slapped a nice juicy steak on it. Then Pan fried some shrimp and eggs. I steamed some broccoli and carrots.

I grilled the streak with beautiful golden brown grill marks. Placed the fried shrimp and eggs, sunny side up, on top of the steak. Then I plated it with a side of streamed veggies topped with béarnaise sauce. I enjoyed it with a nice glace of red wine.

I recommend you do the same without wasting your time on BS. Enjoy! :D

Not a scientific perspective of simulation theory
14 February 2021
Warning: Spoilers
No scientists were interviewed. 1 expert was briefly shown every once in a while. Everything else is just some random people believing in the simulation theory.

The director puts too much emphasis on the Joshua murders creating a disturbing shock factor for the audience; which takes away the value of the rest of the information conveyed.

Looks like the director was more concerned with creating a shock effect than exhibiting simulation theory's many cool and fascinating attributes.

The animation was really cool! Sound editing was awesome.

Watch it only if you really need to kill time.

This movie sucked
1 January 2021
Gal Gadot is an amazing Wonder Woman... However, there are no words in the English language to truly convey how bad this movie was.

With the Covid postponing everything, they had a great opportunity to rework the plot and reshoot scenes but they blew it! I don't understand why Warner Bros can't get it right; while, marvels releases hit after hit.

Patty Jenkins is a horrible director!

Not your typical superhero movie, wow!
26 October 2020
I just finished watching season 1. You certainly can not watch this one with the entire family. That said, the series is very cleverly written.

Unlike many other series where after 10 seasons some basic questions haven't been answered, this series regularly provides you with relief and satisfies your urge to know; yet keeps you craving for more. I really enjoyed the dialogs and the variety of social and political issue that this series tackles.

However, I'm not a fun of nudity, unnecessary profanity and gory violence. The writers of this series are amazing story tellers! Coupled with the great cast that they've compiled, they can certainly do without all of that nonsense; hence, I gave it 8 stars.

Another CBS Disappointment
23 September 2020
Lower Decks is just as bad if not worse than the other 2 CBS Star Trek abominations! Here they've taken south park and given it the star trek label. Except south park is funny. This show is a failed attempt.

Everyone except Ensign Boimler behaves like a prehistoric caveman/woman. Characters have low morals, fail on ethics and their every other thought is a sexual joke. Yikes!

If you're hoping for a show that exhibits the humanity, compassion and high morals of the Star Trek universe, this is not it.

D'heck did i just watch???
23 September 2020
Harley is such a witty and smart character. She is always able to get herself out of a situation with her wit and smarts. Here she's portrayed as a stupid violent b#$!% for the luck of a better word.

The writers in this show clearly believe that if they increase the frequency of f-bombs and inflection of gruesome bodily pain and damage to human limbs, it will appeal to adult audiences. They attempt to create shock factors at every opportunity; either visually or through dialog. Unfortunately, they fail miserably.

Basically, it's a Pile of garbage!

Feels like your watching a preschooler's film project! Every aspect of this movie is very low quality and amateur. I'm not sure what James Franco and the suits were thinking when this movie was green lighted.

False advertisement/Failed attempt to defend appalling behavior
25 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This documentary is one of the best examples of shameful and biased journalism! It attempts to sugar coat the horrible actions of Nick Denton and his sleezeball website, Gawker; it fails miserably! Somehow, Peter Thiel is an evil bad bad bad man because he financially supported Hulk Hogan. And some billionaire in Los Vegas is also evil. By the way, It was all Donald Trump's Fault because he called the media fake news!

Don't waste your time on this non-documentary.

Good story and concept with deficiencies
25 August 2020
The story and concept has amazing potential. I really enjoyed the creativity and the futurist set designs and environments. However, this show tries too hard to be a futuristic Game of Thrones with its excessive violence and mundane nudity. There are many other websites that specifically cater to those entertainment needs. If the creators had simply concentrated on storytelling rather than shock factors, through violence and nudity, this show would've been extraordinary.

Star Trek: Picard: Stardust City Rag (2020)
Season 1, Episode 5

The writers should be embarrassed for such a poorly researched series
11 April 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode of Start Trek Picard proves that the writers have no clue as to what Star Trek is all about.

Right off the bat, they kill off Icheb, a beloved character from Star Trek Voyager. His death and its brutality was absolutely unnecessary as wells as highly improbably!

1. Dear Writers: Please watch TNG S1E25 The Neutral Zone!!! The whole concept of harvesting Borg parts and components for financial gains is redundant within the Federation. As a Federation citizen you are entitled to receiving anything you want without any monetary exchange. The accumulation of wealth is a ludicrous and utterly meaningless practice within the Federation and its allies.

2. The Federation possesses replicator technology that can replicate anything you can imagine. The replicators are readily available to all Federation citizens. For sophisticated technical components, you simply need to input the component's specification and the replicator will create it for you. Icheb could have been given a full body scan and all of his Borg components could've been replicated.

3. The Federation has medical records of all its officer on file. Again, Ichabs removed components could've been replicated from his medical records saving his life.

4. It is highly improbably for a federation officer to get kidnapped and the Federation neglects to immediately dispatch a rescue team.

5. In the highly unlikely and improbable event that the a Federation officer is murdered, no one gets away with it! The murderer is apprehended without delay and sentenced accordingly.

I declare this episode a dog's breakfast and the series a poorly researched pile of excrement.

What a marvel of the art of cinema
9 April 2020
Star Trek TNG is a masterpiece!

TNG tells the story of how great humanity can be. It inspires you to do good, say good, be good, and think good. It teaches you humility, acceptance and the joy and wonders of science.

If everyone watched this show, the world would be free of all the chaos.

Watch it with your family and change the world for the better!

A beautiful movie for the entire family
9 April 2020
I'm so tired of all the violence, sex and nudity in almost every movie out there these days.

This movie is a gem! It is a great testament that the art of moviemaking is still alive. It shows that you can still make a great movie without the profanity and vulgar behavior.

It's a story of a man's passion for his family and his career. It shows a man's integrity and the love and devotion that he has for his wife, kids and his fellow men/women. It shows a woman's strengths through many adversities in life.

It defies the current Hollywood narrative that glorifies animalistic behaviors between men and women.

This is a great movie that you can watch with the entire family at any occasion.

An insult to your intelligence and a slap in the face of every Trekkie
27 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This last episode had glimpses of hope for the series but nope they destroyed all of that in the last 5 minutes.

The story telling is amateur and the main characters lack sophistication. The pace is very slow.

A murderer has gotten away with murder (Dr. Jurati) without any consequences. Why isn't she apprehended by the Federation?

The Federation's Director of Starfleet Security betrays the Federation and attempts to commit genocide and no one is asking for her court martial. A fugitive is allowed do as she pleases?

If they can bring back Picard from the dead why not bring back Data?

In Et in Arcadia Part 1, Raffi confesses her love to Picard but in this one she's a gay lover to 7of9. Seriously? Did the writers even watch Part 1?

Now that Coppelius is safe from Zhat Vash, where the heck is Picard and his crew of one sided characters going aimlessly in space?

I'm done wasting my time with this garbage!

Wow, after watching STD and Pircad
25 March 2020
After watching the abomination Star Trek Discovery (STD LOL) and the Cringe Fest Start Trek Picard, I have come to the realization that this was a wonderful Start Trek show. It stays true to the canon and maintains what Gene Roddenberry envisioned!

I will certainly be revisiting many episodes!

Yet, another Cringe Fest!
25 March 2020
Very poorly written! There are too many issues with this episode to point out.

Clearly the writers are trying to wow the audience with explosions and special effects without investing in good story telling.

Other than a few familiar actors this show has nothing to do with Start Trek. It is disappointing to see the franchise name being abused in this manner.

If you Make Real Star Trek They will come
15 March 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Once again the creators are trying real hard to lure viewers through unnecessary intimate scenes, violence and foul language. That's not Star Trek.

Picard is no longer the relational and highly intelligent Start Fleet Captain. I accept that; as he is older now. However, the rest of Star Fleet and Federation has devolved into barbarism all throughout.

For instance, a highly compassionate scientist who is also a member of the Federation, murders another fellow scientist. Then in Broken Pieces this same murderer is allowed to roam around the ship freely without anyone being concerned about her mental state. Neither Captain Rios, nor Jean-Luc suggest that perhaps she should be put in the brig. These sequences of events completely defy what makes Star Trek so humane, compassionate and righteous.

Give us the humanity, compassion and intelligence of Start Trek! Do away with archaic violence and profanity and watch fans flock in numbers!
