Good with Wood (2021)
Loved it to a point!
I whole heartedly adore wood and it's fluidity with skilled workers, but I find the judges quite ignorant even a little bit incompetent. Thus I have to give this a 7! Getting rid of highly skilled individuals over being fair to certain others is highly inaccurate and unfair in my humble opinion. And for this reason you have nearly ruined the show. In addition, it's useful to have the skill to express constructive Criticism as an expert, and he humble, rather than be negative for the sake of it.
Therefore the judges pretentiousness on the show gives me a bit of a peeved attitude.
Even though the students are on the whole skilled and passionate enough to create some semblance of a solid product, they are still heavily criticised and critiqued without a fun perspective. Sure, I understand the need for cohesion, consistency and competence, but unnecessary aggression isn't required in my humble opinion.
So, please consider judges that actually are not stuck up their own back passages. And aware enough to communicate constructively and less judgemental in outwardly draconian ways.
Robbie Williams (2023)
Worth a Look!
I admit, I went into this assuming I'd find it cringy, self important and tedious, however I can't help but think that here is a guy that has achieved a great deal and been through a great deal at a very young age and that isn't natural.
Sure, many may think it is a somewhat woe is me story, or a marketing tool, and maybe it is, but even if it is a bit of a 'look what I went through' in life etc. When no one really gives a crap, beneath this lies a vulnerable working class kid that sort of got through this unusual situation and came through in the end.
I am sure that there will always be the marmite factor here, hate or love, but give it a chance as you might well find ur heart warming. And maybe it can help many young men out there who may have experienced something similar regardless of the fame factor.
A Discovery of Witches (2018)
I'm not quite sure what the big deal is
It is very average in so many ways. A lot of drama over pretty much nothing. The 6 is given only because there are lovely areas used and filmed. It is quite uninspiring.
Las tres muertes de Marisela Escobedo (2020)
The heart wrenching sadness of mindless murders
A powerful and moving documentary with stories which made me angry, sad and in total shock. But on the other it left me feeling total respect, admiration and compassion for the innocent few. A well made and critical piece of film to help support the urgent change and future of society in Mexico.
Das schaurige Haus (2020)
Didn't really blow my mind
There were interesting parts and elements, but on the whole it left me a bit flat. I didn't feel any deep connections to anyone enough to feel that I was 100% in. Thus the atmosphere was a little lacking for me.
Love Island (2015)
Disgusting programne
How on Earth can this hell of a Programne still be on TV. BAN it now! It's utter hell. Look at the deaths which have come about in the last 6 months. Whoever is keeping this in air needs to be imprisoned. End it!
