Green Book (2018)
Simple story perfectly told
Viggo is pretty much a stamp for a good film and this is no exception. The subject matter may have been done many times before but this is a while new angle and delightful story telling
Street Kings (2008)
Just awful
Is he a lone wolf, is he a criminal is he misunderstood. I don't care. This made no sense and when he screams 'stay with me' as he tries to do cpr on a colleague he just saw 100+ bullets pumped into him I gave up
Emperor (2012)
Slapdash and borderline fictional
The only thing this film taught me was to go and do my own research on. Aya the love interest? Fiction and even worse adds nothing to the story. The 10 day review period? Made up. It was actually 5 months. This skips over important sections and overly repeats the limited ones it does bring up. Left wondering why make it at all
Star Trek: Picard (2020)
How can people give this 1 star?!
I get that everyone thinks they are critics and also have very rose tinted glasses but this is great. If your giving it a 1 star review to prove some point you should have your rating privileges removed! Go back and watch one of the early TNG episodes and tell me this isn't better. Good plot, good characters and delightful nods to the star trek history
The Hunted (2003)
Age hasn't been kind
Without meaning to be too condescending this might have been an ok film 20 ish years ago but it has not aged well. Too obvious, to many long drawn out shots, too many 'that's not possible according to any known law of physics' moments
