The Last Kingdom (2015)
Great on so many levels
High quality storyline, acting, scenery, footage. A range of interesting characters and intriguing relationstips and bonds between them. Extra plus for the part fiction part historically accurate journey it takes you on. Very entertaining.
Sex/Life (2021)
Tackling the subject very well.
Impressive storyline showcasing how you can love your life yet miss other parts of your life that held something completely different. What level of feeling less than 100% content is "enough" to settle for? Can you romantically love two people simultaneously? Is monogamy a man-made standard not fit for reality?
Well made, good acting and shone light on complex questions that lack definite answers.
Doctor Doctor (2016)
Entertaining
Really enjoyed this show. Great aussie vibes embedded with complicated yet loveable characters. Binged it and eagerly waiting for season 5 to be launched in Scandinavia.
Confess (2017)
Very capturing TV show (and book)
Really liked this one and I'm glad I very randomly put it on. Read the book a few months later and liked that one too. The book had some extra nuances but I definitely think they've done a great job of capturing the essence of it in the TV show. Now watched the show a second time 6 months after I first saw it and once again enjoyed, meaning I can definitely recommend.
Ibiza (2018)
A bunch of good laughs
I actually really enjoyed the film. It did a great job within its genre - I rarely laugh to films these days but this had me a bunch if times. Although its not at all a deep, complicated film, one can absolutely find several take-outs for the mind from it, thinking back on it: Enjoy life. Go after what you want. Impulsive decisions can be great. New doors may open where u least expect them to.
Confess: They're All Confessions (2017)
Good mix of romance, drama and creepiness
Entertaining plot, enjoyed it. Good mix of romance, drama and creepy, yet still keeping the story together easily. Well-played characters. Haven't read the book.
Sanditon (2019)
Great costume drama
Truly enjoyed it and very much binge-watched. However, the ending leaves you unsatisfied and urges for a season 2.
