I can't bear to finish this movie
15 April 2022
For the life of me, I can't fathom how people rate this movie so high. Literally almost every single minute of this film is absolutely absurd.

Overall the last two weeks I've been agonizing my way toward the end of this movie, minutes at a time.

Not exaggerating: Worst movie ever
6 March 2022
Firstly, I love the Impractical Jokers. I watch their show literally almost every single day. I've seen every episode many times. The challenges in this are absolutely HYSTERICAL, but as a feature film: this is without a doubt the worst attempt of a movie I've ever seen in my entire life. I never thought I'd say this but it's even worse than Spice World. They're great in their element of hidden camera pranks but outside of that they miss the mark of quality comedy-BY FAR.

I can't even understand how it's possible to make a film this utterly abysmal and atrocious, then approve it to be released internationally!

It makes Beverly Hills Ninja look like Citizen Kane.

Interesting

A pretty good treatment on the impact of loss. Some unique shots. There are a few moments of absurdity and obscurity but overall a compelling drama. I have no idea why anyone would categorize this as a thriller. Not anywhere close to a thriller.

Oh My Goodness

Warning: Spoilers
What an awful movie. Probably the most pointless predictable and just plain stupid final "big twist" I've ever seen. What would her ability to see even have to do with anything? What difference would it have made at any point in the storyline? Inconsequential. Oh, except for that one scene where her sight actually enabled her to achieve her lifelong mission but instead she continued to pretend be unable to see for... not reason and nobody at all. Because I guess if anyone saw her poisoning his drink that would be less of an offense than pretending to be blind. Furthermore, it was painfully obvious she wasn't blind because how, and why, in the heck would a blind person get multiple tattoos they'd never see?? How would they choose the design and identify it for the tattoo artist? Just walk in and tell the artist "knock yourself out"?

That's just one hole in an entire afghan. The initial premise was very intriguing and even promising. The plot just got way too convoluted and scatterbrained. There was even a ridiculous sex scene thrown in. Wow. I gave 2 stars just because the lead's acting was pretty good while she was feigning blindness.

Should've Been Better

Great life story.

Not so great delivery, at all.

Should've been done so much better.

Unbearable
1 April 2020
I literally just made an IMDb account so I could write this review... and say how absolutely insufferable the obnoxious Gen Z-er with hashtags for brains is. Not exaggerating-with every single line she, or her token friend spoke, I grew more nauseous. I've never been so irritated by a bratty character as I was trying to watch this film. I would've even been able to overlook the preposterously unbelievable plot and exaggerated use of social media and phone cameras in general enough to sit through a whole hour if not for this incessant nagging little sprite that someone apparently thought would add value.
