"A llove letter to the fans"
26 January 2023
It was said this movie would be a love letter to the fans, I'd say in occasions that's true. It's not bad, but also not necessarily good. Derek & Eli steal the show, or better said movie. Scott remains Scott, which is good, but there are some dumb storylines here and there, and you'd wish to see more from some characters, some just feel they're there to be there rather than have a true meaning in the movie. Nonetheless, it's quite enjoyable. I'd say it's on par with season 4, not better than 1-3 & 6A, definitely better than 5 and 6B. They kinda messed up a storyline with the returning villain that didn't make all too much sense for me, but I guess it's something you have to take with it.

Remake/Reboot = bad
14 February 2022
For a lot of people a remake or a reboot is bad. 1/10 or 2/10 is a definite "no" imo, you probably didn't even watch and just talk to talk. I can see people not liking it or people thinking it's rather average. For me it's a very good show, drama, realistic points of view and on top good acting and great cinematography.

Many don't understand things
25 May 2021
1- WhErE iS fOoTbAlL?

  • Did you know there was this thing and there's still this thing going on called COVID-19?

  • So yeah, they couldn't film with many people together because it could risk stars getting it and it would slow down production even more. That's why there's limited football. Use your brain.

2- It'S gEtTiNg BoRiNg
  • When real life issues become boring to someone it's because they don't care.

  • The show tackles real issues and hasn't really had bad writing for 3 seasons straight, not even The O. C. or One Three Hill could do that due to the filler episodes, etc.

3- Don't enjoy? Don't watch it.

From good to really bad
18 May 2021
Season 1-3 were probably the best seasons.

After that it kept going down, where season 4 went down season 5 didn't pick up (like with Arrow) and then season 6 got worse, season 7, etc. It will still stand as a good show and people will be interested to see how it'll end. But too many filler episodes, too many too much alike storylines, too much over the top comedy.

I will stay by this point, if the "CW DCTV" shows were 10-13 episodes they'd probably be crazy good. Except Batwoman and Legends who feel off, even tho people enjoy Legends for some reason. I really think the 20+ episode seasons only feel okay with soap opera's and sitcoms, etc and even then. Streaming services taking over because of the faster paced better story telling much less episodes a season shows.

Character building and development is fantastic
18 April 2021
TFATWS has been amazing in every aspect? Yes, the build up is a bit slower, but it's more grounded. It builds up more character-wise than action-wise. More time = more action is what people might've thought. But being able to feel the characters more is far more important. Seeing Bucky's pain and Sam's struggles has been amazing. Episode 4 and 5 have more action and feel a lot like the Captain America movies. The show hits everywhere it needs to hit and ticks every box if you want to watch a grounded action packed show with lots of development.

The ending will make you think, even if unsatisfying.
30 January 2021
Warning: Spoilers
This movie is great, without Denzel, Rami & Jared this movie would've probably been less good. The story dives into a realistic murder case or better said cases. There's a serial killer, and who is it? The twist is, we've seen it all before, and we haven't fully seen this. Reminds you of "Se7en" in ways and in other ways it doesn't. You won't be happy with the ending, because you want to know who the killer is, but you simply don't know. Which in real life happens as well, some killers aren't caught and psychopaths can leave no trail behind. Could it be Deacon? Maybe. But most likely not, even though he first mentions "the little things get you caught" as a hero phrase, later it's used as a anti-hero phrase. Making you think "could he have done it?". No, he refers mostly to him having killed someone and there was evidence, but it got covered up and never mentioned again. Could it be Albert? Maybe. In ways, he looked very smart and could've easily gotten rid of all the evidence. He could've simply been the "weirdo" and it being someone we've never even seen on screen. But it's not a definite no to the question "was it him?". It's not because we know Deacon bought the red barrette, that it means Albert is off the hook. But do I think it was Albert? Probably not. The movie tries to tell that not everything can be dealt with, figured out. Not everyone gets caught. On top when you get to obsessive, you make mistakes you can't get back. Deacon killed an innocent girl, Baxter might've killed an innocent man. It lets you know that even the best fail and even the best aren't always the best, because others get away as well. "The little things tear you apart, the little things get you caught." This phrase is for everybody, be it a small secret, a big secret, you mention it, you do something suspicious, and you get asked questions and could get caught. You bring old wounds back to life. The movie has great acting with a storyline that for some could be thought on like me and makes it an amazing movie, for others it'll give you an unsatisfying ending and will be the most average movie, since you've watched 2 hours of a suspenseful movie with no real ending.

Getting past the first 30 minutes is a challenge
1 December 2020
It's one of the most boring movies I've ever seen. To say it's a DC Comics movie, which never are boring says a lot. The first 30 minutes are the worst 30 minutes I've seen this year. This should've never been called "Birds of Prey'.

The fight scenes aren't bad, but the story isn't all that and the villain lacks power or lacks to be someone you love to hate.

The movies can be lucky it's DC related, has good actors, a budget and decent fight scenes, the rest is literally between 0-1/10...

Amazing for 6 seasons
20 October 2020
Warning: Spoilers
It was truly one of the better "teen drama" shows. Sadly they decided to get rid of the main character after 6 seasons due to contract negotiations/budget. They had some amazing storylines, comedy, drama, etc.

Season 1,3 and 4 (the first 9 episodes) are 10/10, the rest up until season 7 is also great and would be a 8/10. Season 7 is okay, but lacks the 2 characters you love and have seen for 6 seasons in Lucas & Peyton, definitely Lucas who's been there from the start. Season 8 is probably one of the worst seasons in history of "teen drama/young adult" shows in my opinion. Season 9 is the better season from the last 3 in many points (gladly Lucas returns for a small cameo), but some things just still don't feel right. The whole Dan redemption story seems off, a man who killed his brother should never get redemption.

Many mistakes.
16 May 2020
I think the movie is a decent watch and you'll be entertained for the whole movie and you can rewatch it. But when you think about how it is next to the books, it's not even 10% at that level.

I think there's many mistakes and some story changes and some characters aren't even in it. It's just not the adaptation that we wanted, needed or should've been given.
