I absolutely loved this series. The characters are hilarious. The mix of focus on the political history in Northern Island, the Catholics, and teenage antics just made me laugh and laugh. Touching on taboo subjects, the swearing, sarcasm and humour just added to the brilliance. The guest celebrities were awesome. Even a touch of sadness was thrown in, which worked well. As for the music, it was fantastic and took me back. Can not rate this highly enough.

I live in New Zealand, and my maternal Grandfather was born in Leitrim, but I had to put the subtitles on. This further enhanced my enjoyment.

I loved learning about Andrea Boccelli's life and am inspired by him, and admire and love him very much. The acting was very good, and Antonio Banderas was fabulous.

I was only disappointed with the fact, I am Italian and this was in English. The Queen's English spoken by Italians is dreadful and unnatural. I would have preferred English subtitles.
