Road House (2024)
Why do movies keep wasting roles on celebrities?
I liked the movie, it was entertaining, won't be memorable or something but it's a fun action flick.
You'll dislike it if you compare it to the original one but that's why you just have to look at it as a standalone movie.
I just don't get the point of Conor McGregor, he can't act so everything he does feels unnatural and corny. You have a dozen actors who could do his role but better and I doubt anyone watched this movie purely because Conor is in it.
Also, some of the side characters introduced felt pointless, like the bar tending guy acting like a bouncer.
I'd probably give this movie a 6,5 but its not worth a 6 hence the 7.
Reacher: Fly Boy (2024)
So reacher is a serial killer now?
All trough this season, Reacher has been killing people who didnt have to be killed.
It's like he is a completely different person from season 1, people could use the excuse ''they worked for the person who killed his friends'' but they literally killed his brother in season 1 so that doesn't make sense
This season as a whole felt like it was written by someone else. It changes everything that makes season 1 unique.
We had like 1 good guy scene in the entire season and it was the ATM robbery thing.
I hope that if there will be a season 3. They keep the cast smaller and bring back what maked this show good.
Ai amu a hîrô (2015)
Really underrated
The only reason I found out about this movie was because of an tiktok edit. It looked promising so I gave it a try.
I was suprised by how good the movie looked, the gore is amazing, the zombies look unique and the scenes dont look like theyre full of cgi.
The main charachter was really likable. His acting was good aswell. Some of the side charachters werent that good at acting but its not that big of a deal, the rest of the main cast did good aswell.
The pacing wasnt amazing, it was OK.
Overall a really interesting and underrated zombie movie, I hope it gets the attention it deserves.
South Park: Post Covid - The Return of Covid (2021)
It was OK
I liked the first one better because I felt like the writing waskind of lazy in this one. I really liked what they did with butters and im glad we saw timmy.
South Park: Post Covid (2021)
I enjoyed it
It was fun to see the boys al grown up, sad we didnt get to see timmy tho. I cant wait for the covid part to be over tbh. I like these episiodes but the other random ones are way more fun.
Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)
Really unique
Different then other action movies, only thing I disliked was that I couldnt really follow the characters in the last fight scene, it went a bit to fast.
Imawa no Kuni no Arisu (2020)
Decent show
Most of the games were really cool, the show went downhill the last couple of episodes. The acting got pretty bad and beach part was also boring. They also stretched the episodes alot by having the smart characters explain everything to the others who are extremely dumb.
Army of Thieves (2021)
Better then its prequel
Better charachters and less plotholes. Just a bit unrealistic and I hoped for some more action scenes.
I would recommened watching this even if you didnt like the first one like me.
Army of the Dead (2021)
some things annoyed the hell out of me
Guys we only have 90 minutes to get out of here before we get nuked, lets talk about or feelings, make dumb jokes and sit on the chopper thats suppossed to be ready in 90 minutes. Also if they only cared about the head why did they send the other teams and why not just be honest? IF its really worth that much he can spare money to pay a team.
The Foreigner (2017)
Solid action movie
I really liked it, it didnt have alot of action scenes but the ones it had where amazing, I also loved the airport scene.
Solid action movie that fans of action movies will love.
American Psycho (2000)
I have no idea what I just watched
Really confusing but Christian Bale his acting is oscar worthy hence the 7.
Kick-Ass 2 (2013)
I wouldve gave it a 8 if it was'nt for the ending
They really let a underage girl kiss a guy 7 years older then her? It was creepy and weird, they didnt even have any chemistery between them and it was completely unnessecary.
Rest of the movie was good.
Ojing-eo geim: VIPS (2021)
Love the show so far, but the VIPS....
How do you even find actors that bad? They dont even have to show their faces. Any figurant would be better tbh. I get the concept of rich foreigners betting money but they couldve changed it so they spoke korean. Their are plenty of white foreigners in south korea that speak it as their first language.
They keep yelling random pop references and its super cringy.
The game was really good and exiting but the VIPS were really bad.
BlacKkKlansman (2018)
Better then I expected
First half hour felt bland, I wish they went some more into the main character his history.
However after an hour it was amazing,I was hooked.
The acting is amazing and the story is well writen, music is good and everything felt like it belonged in the time period.
Fear Street: 1978 (2021)
Big improvement
Good written characters and good actors is a big improvement from the first movie. I enjoyed this one.
I doubt cpr can fix stab wounds though but the rest of the movie was great.
Fear Street: 1994 (2021)
Bland, boring and unrealistic
Im 50 minutes in so far and im not sure if I will continue, the characters are boring, Its super unrealistic and I dont feel entertained at all. I just finished the scene where the girl stole a cops gun (without him noticing???) and then shooting some random charachter and dropping the gun 2 seconds later. How does that make any sense?
I wish they casted Maya Hawke as the main character and Kiana Madeira
as the girl who dies at the start because I feel like Maya is a more expierenced actor.
Also how does a proffesional soundtrack person mess up so bad? The songs are good but alot of them arent from 1994, how do you overlook something like that?
I might continue watching and try the other movies because im a big fan of sadie sink. But I doubt a single good character can fix this.
Get Out (2017)
Amazing
Cool concept, amazing actors and really interesting to watch.
Circle (2015)
Really cool concept
I really liked this movie, their may not be any action but I really liked the choises people made and how everyone changed as soon as more and more people died.
I would probably give it a 7.3 or so if I could.
The Belko Experiment (2016)
Nothing special, but pretty entertaining
First of all. This movie is not a horror movie their are no jumpscares or anything. I dont mind this but if you like those kind of things you're going to be disapointed.
Second, some people are complaining that the acting isnt always the best, but it was fine. For the main charachters atleast. You cant expect to hire amazing actors for one line.
I never really got attached to the main character so I didnt mind the ending. I dont like movies that dont explain anyhting about whats going on and thats a big deal in this movie. Did every office have the same expiriment? Where these people really with the goverment?
How do expect to account for 2400 missing people in the same day, working at the same company? Whats their to learn about locking people in a building and forcing them to kill eachtother? Its a pointless expiriment. Their are so many questions left unanwsered and I doubt I will think about this movie alot.
What I did like was the gore, the fact that people you like die just like that. (not alot of movies do this) and the overall action.
What I found weird is that 2 of the best actors in the cast (if not the best) get killed of so soon. (janitor guys)
If you like action movies you will like this one, if you are a big horror fan and expect a scary movie you are going to be disapointed.
Taken 2 (2012)
Just bad
I liked the first one but this one is really bad. I have alot of things to say about the movie but im just going to sum it up below:
Things I liked:
- Liam Neeson
- hotel scenes were OK
Things I didnt like:
- the boring story
- the thousand of cuts in normal fist fights, made it unwatchable.
- the fact that they act like turkish cars are all outdated.
- Girl who cant even drive automattic can drive with stick trough small crouded streets.
- boring action scenes, nothing like the first one.
- almost being sold as a sex slave didnt bother kim at all.
- Daughter who got kidnapped and drugged still doesnt tell dad where she's going.
- albanian people speaking english to eachother.
- driving into US embassy even though nobodys chasing you and then walking away like nothing happened.
The Forever Purge (2021)
Just a normal purge movie
Nothing spectacular but not bad either.
I'm getting tired of the ''pregnant lady slowing everyone down'' plot because its so overused.
Movie is brutal as always, however the other purge movies usually have something unusual thats killing people (the big gun in the truck and the guillotine for example) but this movie didnt.
Shameless: Two at a Biker Bar, One in the Lake (2021)
Horrible
Dont you just love it when a show thats been on tv for like 10 years comes to and end in a couple of episodes, and the writers decide to add horrible storylines. Make kevin stupid, make Debbie even WORSE and make tami the most boring main charachter in the show.
Frank is the only thing that makes me want to finish this season.
Shameless: Do Right, Vote White! (2018)
to much stereotypes
I really enjoy this show, and I enjoyed this episode . The quality of the show is nowhere near before (when karen and her family where still here) but its still good.
However this episode is obviously made by writers who hate trump (the old writers never got into politics) I am not a American, and I dont really like trump but having the homophobes wear a trump hat, Antifa calling some poor rednecks nazis and making fun of republicans is just not it.
The new writers havent really done a great job making storys, the gay jesus thing is weird, Carl, Frank and Liam are really entertaining. Lip and Debbies stories are OK and I still cant stand Fiona and Ford is kind of boring.
The side charachters are also boring, they trew half of them away at the end of last season and the currents ones (beside Brad) are just not entertaining.
The good sides of this episodes are Terry being back and I still found most of it entertaining.
S.W.A.T. (2017)
to much politics
I watched 6.5 episodes before quiting. the cast is decent (I started watching for Shemar Moore) but they bring politics in every episode. sure their is police brutality in the US and people should be informed about that but this show acts like every encounter is like that. and Hondo happens to know everyone in the city and keeps calming everyone down even though they are clearly in the wrong. I really liked the action scenes but I simply cant watch a show where 30 of the 40 minutes are about ''how bad the police is and that criminals are the victims'' even though its a cop show.
I also expected it to be more action, less crime solving. I thought that was the detectives job and swat just turns them in but I could be wrong.
Criminal Minds: And in the End (2020)
Decent ending
Loved the show, season 15 wasnt the best imo, but I still liked it. the ending was decent, they defeated the unsub and saved everyone but I think its weird that garcia's actor wrote this episode and made it about her (wel 40% atleast) . its kinda selfish since theres only 40 minutes and alot of people in the team people want to see. (like tara who didnt get alot of screentime)
