One Day (2024)
How to break me...
I actually reviewed the movie a while ago. I personally think they are both amazing but this one hit different because it is a series. The acting is amazing but most importantly the story line. I already knew what was going to happen but it still hit me a million times in the heart. This series is about life and how sometimes life is in control and you're just a puppet. The fact that they meet every year on the same day and you get to see how their love grows and becomes the most beautiful thing to ever exist is just spectacular. The cast has amazing chemistry and they are just perfect for each other. I watched this all in one weekend and also cried all weekend hence, the story line is unforgettable. The fact that this is based on a book written by a man just pierces my soul even harder just to see that a man can fall as hard as a woman. Personally, I just love how it captures the attributes of life and love. I recommend this with all my love and sadness. Just wow.
Last Christmas (2019)
Wow!
I watched this film last year on Christmas day and it filled me with joy and sadness!! Last year's Christmas wasn't exactly what I would have imagined but when I watched this film it made me all kinds of emotions. The plot was absolutely divine and the leads had a lot of chemistry between them.
I personally love Henry Golding films and Emilia Clarke films and to see them both together in this Christmas romance ,well you can imagine my emotions.
This isn't your usually girl meets boy romance were they fall in love but it's more like girl meets boy, boy gave her her heart and she can never give it back .
I recommend this film with all my heart and don't listen to the haters who have nothing to do in their lives but critic a film like this.
Wednesday (2022)
Something glorious
I thought that Netflix would ruin such an amazing character, but Jenna Ortega proved me wrong. She was made for the role of Wednesday. She was so dedicated to the character and worked hard to perfect her inner Wednesday. (Which she obviously did)
I highly recommend this series. I really want Netflix to renew this series for season 2, and not like other great series, not renew them. They would be doing a massive mistake. And this time they should make it darker.
I watched this the week it came out (on a Wednesday) and still can't get it out of my head. I definitely wasn't expecting this. What a watch... What a masterpiece....
One Day (2011)
THE love story
One day is The love story. It has everything : love ,a bit of mystery and extreme tragedy and heart-break for the characters and the audience. This film contains two amazing lead actors.
This film has made it on the list, the list of films that made me cry.
For it's not the ordinary girl meets boy, they fall in love ,something happens and then, they end up together. No, it's not because this is more tragic, more heart felt and moving. It also makes you treasure the people who are dearest to your heart.
I highly recommend this film. Give it a chance because it will give you a new definition of love.
Spider-Man (2002)
The movie with the famous quote - which great power comes great responsibility!
Toby Maguire's spider-man is the best spider-man. That's a fact in my opinion but the other ones are good too,but you always have to stick to the original. That's why spider-man is one of the most popular Marvel comics.
It has a story-line where the audience it's seeking, can relate to as a teenager. And the part when he gets bitten by a genetically enhanced spider, which is the part we just cannot relate to, but wish it would happen to us.
It's an original which cannot be replaced even by spider-man 2 and spider-man 3.
I cannot stop recommending this movie so much because you don't really have to watch the other Marvel movies to truly understand it.
One Day at a Time (2017)
If you don't watch this show, you will be missing out!
I keep re-watching this show, so many times. You just can't get sick of it!
I have to say that this is one of my favorite shows. I just love how funny and comforting it is at the same time. This show has an incredible family dynamic and they show how they handle real life situations that we too go through.
