Shakespeare in Love (1998)
Just overrated
Can't believe this picture won some Oscars! I sincerely don't think that Gwineth Paltrow deserved an Oscar for her performance, it's just flat.
It's a nice rom-com, nothing more and nothing comparable to an Oscar movie. That's all.
Katy Perry: Thinking of You (2008)
Fav music video ever
This is just iconic. That's all. She is beautiful and the story is moving. The costumes are just perfect. I really liked it and O think that also the song is one of my favorite songs of Katy Perry thanks to that video clip because it really adds something to the lyrics of the song. I suggest it to all the fans but also to tge music video lovers. I think there is no better story told by imagies than this.
Taylor Swift: All Too Well (2021)
Pathetic
I didn't like it because the song doesn't matches with the video. I mean, the fault is not of the actors but instead I think that Taylor has done a mess with directing.
Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
A trash parade
This movie deserves 10 for the special effects but 5 is my rating because it is too much. Less is more. The story is not working! I think that the mistake is the role assigned to the old spidermen, Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield. Just for the nostalgic nerds.
Encanto (2021)
Very nice but not memorable!
I quite liked this Disney movie, but I found it a bit slow and hard to understand for a child because it has a lot of metaphorical meanings. I would suggest it to pre-teens.
Don't Look Up (2021)
Don't look... At this nonsense!
I didn't like at all this movie because yes it represents American stereotypes of our times and yes it is a great metaphor of the age we are living in, but are these premises worth the whole film? I don't think so. Not to mention the role assigned to Timothee Chalamet, which I would define insignificant, to say the least.
Emily in Paris (2020)
A really likeable tv series but very silly
I'm not still convinced by Emily and her easy and superficial life, but this show has the power to keep you stuck to the screen because the story is very addictive and remembered me of the rom-coms from the 2000s plus the politically correct of our time!
Euphoria (2019)
Yes but...
Since the debut of Skins (2007), the tv series that talk about teenagers are really changed, and Euphoria is the proof of this change. The standard tropes have been turned upside down and that's good. But I didn't like the way Sam Levinson has killed the old tropes and has inevitably created very rigid others.
Dune (2021)
An incredible experience
This is a mastepiece of film making, but still not easy to comprehend. Surely it is a movie to be watched in theaters only because the Hans Zimmer score is worth the time. Plus I've hated the last sequences in which the light was not so good I don't know why, but I've found it very annoying and hard to watch on screen because it was so dark!
The Ferragnez (2021)
WHAT A TRASH SHOW.
I'm angry because once again (as in the documentary Chiara Ferragni Unposted), the story narrated is everything except something original, new and overall something that we still didn't know. I thought we, as follower of the couple on instagram, did not really know their private life and in this documentary I expected to see what they really are. But if they wanted to make us believe that this is their REAL LIFE, I could not help but wonder if they are able not to play a part and just be themselves. Because I think that they are so used to be fake even at themselves that they don't know themselves at all.
NOTHING SPONTANEOUS AND REAL which they claim a lot to be. Just trash spectacularization of their glossy life.
She is selfish, airy and apathetic. I think this series risks damaging her public figure because she appears to be really silly. But most of the people which are silly as she is will not notice none of this. But just that Leo is a beautiful boy and she is always wearing beautiful outfits. And we have to remember that she is a person that has not worked one day in her life, because if they want us to believe that working means just doing the small talk in the meeting shown in the series, well this is not working dear Chiara.
Fedez is the only real character in the series, because he is not able to play a part. He is just himself. I think that they as a couple will not last longer.
