Infinity Train (2019)
Definitely recommend it
Infinity Train is a show about a girl named Tulip who wants to go to a game coding camp which slowly turns down by her mom who is in a divorce. Sounds like a normal slice of life show right? No, not here. As the show progresses Tulip sees weird things and meet allies Atticus and one-one, both who are left behind. I have never seen a show this depressing on a children's network after Adventure Time. My only issues though is the short time duration. CN only gives them 11 minutes to explain a full fledged story but it kinda feels rushed sometimes, I don't know it might just be me.
Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts (2020)
Quirky and offbeat
Another wonder in the Netflix Animation collection. I really didn't like the first season of Kipo because I felt the pacing was a bit off, but man season 2 really outshines the first season. You learn more about Kipo's parents and how her mom transformed into a mega. Wolf is always a pleasure. Dave and Benson do more, and speaking of Benson. Him and Troy are so cute and the creators don't force their relationship like other Netflix Animates shows. I would really give this one a watch.
Artemis Fowl (2020)
Trailer shots nowhere to be found
You remember that beautiful shot in the trailer of the fairy lady jumping into the air and transforming? Well if you wanted to see that in this movie, it isn't there! As well as other shots, but the rest of the movie is good right? Eh. The story is pretty straightforward except they try to include so many different plotlines and it makes it hard to know what's happening. But the acting is good right? The young actor who plays Artemis is clearly a newbie. He tries his best but just doesn't sell it. Josh Gad as well. Usually I like Gad's performances, but in this film he really made me uncomfortable(one scene in particular). The way he talks to the camera is just unsettling and really irks me. The reason I gave it a 4 because it isn't as bad as others say it is. It still has the same charm as other movies, but it just should've never been made after all the misfires and delays ot went through.
