The Mandalorian: Chapter 17: The Apostate (2023)
Boring
This episode was very boring. The Mandalorian's impassioned helmet speech's has a limit and this episode showed it.
Who actually enjoyed watching this in 2024?
The most entertaining part were where those characters kept on making funny sounds in the garage.
This episode was mostly just talking talking, walking walking, flying flying flying, talking talking.
There were too many close ups of the creature, that has no ability to speak, nor does it have great facial expressions for it to communicate non-verbally. That's a big fail from the director and writers.
This episode was a waste of 30 odd minutes.
Gran Turismo (2023)
Best movie of 2023 IMO
I was expecting a 6 from this movie but I was blown away by how this true story was brought to life on the screen. I only regret not watching this on the big screen!
It's not only a great racing movie but the acting, visuals and story telling are really good. It makes any modern Fast and Furious movie look very bad in comparison.
I actually thought that the actors are placements, I didn't think that the depictions of them are as close to accurate as can be.
The racing is suspenseful and made me tense up with anticipation, especially during the Le Man's race, which I was not expecting at all. It was like I was watching the suspenseful end of Loki Season 1 but for more than 30 minutes, I'm not sure how long the race was, that's how great it was. Now I don't like watching racing but this would get me into it.
I never heard of this before but thank you Gran Turismo, Nissan, Danny Moore, Jack Salter (especially for making the right decision) as well as all cast and crew. Worth watching from the beginning to end. I guess only snobs who can find something wrong in anything marked this below a 7.
Survivor: Music to My Ears (2023)
Mixed masala episode.
I am so sick and tired of these emotional quitters. Sean is a terrible player, he can be lucky there was a Brandon on this season. He's actually a principal of a school.. what a bad example to children. In the past teachers would come on to inspire, it's really bad for a principal.
There is no tribal council drama and it causes the last part of the episode to be a total waste of 10 minutes of my life. Even Jeff was shocked at another quitter, but I am not sure if it was a sign of shock or regret at this type of player ruining another end of a show.
This is the biggest casting nightmare in the history of survivor.
Even with someone crying to go home, they still tried to blindside their teammate so at least that brought the episode back up at the end.
Truly without Sifu, many episodes would be a bust. If they don't bring him back in future seasons, it would be truly asinine of the producer.
Emily seems to have a good character redemption arc, that could win her the game.
Survivor: We Can Do Hard Things (2023)
Terrible! Horrible casting! Quiter! Limp contestants!
Everyone loves one another! Why?! How?! You do not know each other. It's such a pathetic advertisement of the game of Survivor, having so many fringe people on a season, who fake love one another.
What a bunch of whiners and quitters as well.
Some advice for the 'super fans', if you are not physically fit, do not apply! Nobody cares how much of a 'super fan' or survivor nerd you are, if you cannot even climb a ladder or if you fall down a slide and land as if you have died, stay home, watch TV and continue to be the self glorified 'super fan' you are. I'm glad that Jeff told that man with zero muscles, to get up because he asked to be there. A disabled lady from a previous season was in better shape than him. That's incredibly embarrassing.
Casting director, you failed. Stop trying to make everyone happy.
Wowza, Emily is hell of annoying.
Loki: Heart of the TVA (2023)
It's either you have one devil, or an infinite amount of devils!
I almost want to swear at the writers for that cliff hanger. It's as brutal as the end of the Sopranos.
We learned a lot from this episode with regards to Ouroboros and Victor Timely. Especially why his memory was never erased.
This episode makes sense of what hwr stated at the end of Loki Season 1 and makes sense of the end of Loki Season 2 Episode 1, when Loki was pruned.
We can also understand why Miss Minutes was kept as an A. I. She asked in episode 2, why she never received a body, we understand now. Who would want to give that a body?!
We now understand 'the infinite amount of devils' and who pruned Loki! This episode sets up the understanding for the end of ANTifa man's post credit scene with the infinite amount of devils. It could have easily been an infinite amount of nevermind, you'll have to see for yourself.
Loki: 1893 (2023)
Muhahahhaha, BOO!🤣
It keeps getting better. It's like a comedy movie😂
I have never laughed this much before in any marvel episode or movie. It's funnier than any Thor movie, Guardians of the Galaxy or any quirky thing Toni Stark has ever said.
Finally Victor Timely shows up and the performance is just fantastic, he's definitely going to win awards as he overshadowed Mobius and Loki's roles. A phenomenal actor with personal legal problems. It's his time as an actor, he will be remembered as one of the best actors of all time. (Pun intended)
The only thing I don't like is this pleading Loki vs Sylvie back and forth, emotional dribble. Just prune Sylvie already.
Ms Minute's voiceovers are great and Renslayer having some sister moment for the hardworking females went on too long. It wasn't even inconspicuous as to what the writer's intent was.
I can't wait for the Kang Dynasty.
Loki: Ouroboros (2023)
Best episode ever in TV series?
There was a lot of anticipation for this episode and it did not disappoint in the least!
I'm not sure who came up with the intro and outro music but it's so good and gets your heart racing. It's great that they never changed it for this season.
I'm glad I only started watching Season 1 a few months ago as I don't think I could have waited 2 years for this episode.
This series could possibly be better than most movies marvel put out; definitely better than any Thor movie ever made.
The visuals were great, the acting and the cliff hanger.
The anticipation for Jonathan Majors to show up in an episode is palpating!
Survivor: A New Era (2021)
Jeff has now divorced his original fans.
Allowing a man to moan about the "guys", when all women say it is fine, shows you that Jeff values the opinion of men over women and is a look into who he is, behind the fake old smile.
Man Jeff looks old, time for a replacement CBS. It's kind of boring listening to him since 10 seasons ago.
To be as arrogant as to say to @ him on Twitter and he probably won't even read the messages, shows what he really is like. He doesn't care about anyone but himself and pleasing a narcissist minority.
This new era is garbage, as Jeff makes people torture themselves for his pocket and it is incredibly exploitive.
This whole season backfires.
Showing the crew pretty much takes away the mystery of the show.
Jeff you're a bust in the ideas, retire..now!
Black Widow (2021)
Better than any phase 1 and half of phase 2
This movie was late because it could beat most stage 1 and half of stage 2 MCU movies.
This movie is more action packed than Iron Man 2, Thor ( the god of boring) and Captain Amuuriicaaa. The Hulk is the only movie that is more action packed.
I was actually hesitant to watch it because some people give this movie a 3. If this was the first MCU movie released then it would probably average close to an 8, reviews of entitled and strange reviewers including. I'm not sure why people have such high expectations that they give it a 1, but such reviews should be discarded out of your mind if your not some comic book psycho, but like watching movies.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022)
Doctor Wanda and the Scarlet Strange.
This movie has some political ideas going on in it. It's also very violent and dark. It's not a movie for kids. Marvel movies can also only get darker and I can't imagine how more evil and violent a 3rd release of Doctor Wanda will be. Maybe it will be Doctor Wakanda since we change races of people these days, and this comes from an African in Africa.
First is feminism.
The movie is titled Doctor Strange, but it's more about Wanda. Just another way that Marvel is no longer about cartoons coming to life but politics being brought to you without a politicians speech.
The way of minimizing the patriarchy I guess.
Next is Sexuality.
We are watching an adaptation of a cartoon but we need to have a feature to appease Joe's voters. The 'product placement', or more correctly 'political placement' of the sexual political movement.
Witchcraft:
This movie does get the portrayal of how evil witchcraft is right.
The Matrix Resurrections (2021)
First 5 minutes of original is far superior to the this nonsense.
I think this joke of a movie was made for us to appreciate the original because it's just a bunch of jokes and nostalgia that isn't even good.
Neil Patrick-Harris does not belong.
A colourful clown Morpheus does not belong.
The jokes do not belong.
A waste of time.
Keane Reeves looks like a homeless guy. He probably kept his look for John Wick, which was a mistake in this movie.
This is what happen when the producers, we'll never mind.
This is supposed to be a really good martial arts movie but it's just a bunch of junk and you probably need to be under the influence of something to actually enjoy it.
Luther: The Fallen Sun (2023)
Not perfect but good enough.
So many annoying whiners have reviewed this movie.
They want to be so practical, like complaining about being in London and then in Norway in a bout 5 minutes! Yeah, we should have extended the movie for a couple of hours or days, so they could appease you whiners.
It's disturbing but not gory. Sadism is the killers thing. He blackmails people and gets them to harm others or themselves. People tossing themselves off of roofs is as bad as the hanging corpses and them people set on fire.
I'm giving it a 10 to annoy you whiners.
And yes I have watched all seasons of the series. So keep whining.
Survivor: A Diamond in the Rough (2018)
Boring episode reflective of boring casting
These people can't play the game and the tribe is arranged in a way that the result is a dead giveaway. There's no excitement to this episode.
Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Average movie with gender politics
Boring characters and the same old story with a gender message to the evil patriarchy that women rock.. mwahahaha.
Pearson (2019)
More realistic than suits.
It's a more serious show, no jokes, no fun times and mainly dramatic. Very different from suits and speaks more to reality.
Single black mother...
Illegal latino's...
Wealthy white conservatives...
Christmas Oranges (2012)
Atheist sort of Grinch
A good example of what grinches atheists are with their doom and gloom around Christmas.
Noah (2014)
Ham is the forefather of African's..
They casted a European to play an African man. Does this make any sense in hell, earth or heaven?!
The son's of Noah are the ancestors of the multiple ethnicities on the planet! How can they all look like Europeans?? Racism in Hollywood laid bare in the fact that they didn't hire a diverse main cast.
Even Noah should be like a mixed-race Moroccan, South African or someone which shows the possibility of diversity in his appearance. Just another example of Europe wrecking MIDDLE EASTERN history into their image.
Legends of Tomorrow: Mr. Parker's Cul-De-Sac (2020)
Finally Constantine's takes a back seat
This season has been pretty annoying because of the demonic occult scenes reducing the supposed to be fun Legend's of Tomorrow. Finally an episode that doesn't have you laughing one moment and cringing at the demon garbage; which has become half past lame and caring.
