Certainly delivers

It's like the fifth or sixth time I watch this movie, and every time I discover something new going on the background. And every time I watch it I certainly wonder how this movie can be rated following what seems to be the "Uwe Boll standard".

I don't know anything about the rest of his movies; that game-to-film adaptation thing is definitely not my cup of tea. A film adaptation of "Street Fighter"?... come on, how can you be disappointed, what the f--- did you expect? Fortunately, I didn't know Postal was a video game.

Its opening scene is a really good presentation card. The movie is brilliant. It's not on the artsy side of movie-making, sure, but it's really fun and clever. In fact, I think it's the only actually clever movie regarding all what came in the aftermath of the 9/11 events. No dramatization, no misplaced patriotism, just a witty look on all that came after: the media circus, the religious fanaticism, the shadows over the Bush administration... come on, he even pokes fun on the, let's say, "German legacy".

So no, Uwe Boll may be the worst whatever in the world but this movie is not the usual trash, is not the usual Hollywood trash and definitely is no trash at all.

Jihad!!

Tron: Legacy (2010)

TRON is spelt T-U-R-D

This flick is pure rubbish. I'm not quite fond of this pop-corn cinema, but I wanted to give it a try, after all I liked the original Tron.

Great mistake, HUGE.

During the first, let's say, 30, 40 minutes? I was completely baffled because I was wondering if this movie was a remake or a brand new film. Well, the actually new stuff doesn't start until almost an hour into the movie, and then is when you start to get the idea "ah... so the plot, hence the movie, starts here!" which, in the end, is not big deal given the awful acting, awful dialogue, awful whatever you can imagine.

Even the FX kinda suck. OK, they're technically brilliant, but, come on, the original Tron had a much more "digital" feeling to it that this piece of junk. Sometimes it feels like Matrix on steroids, which certainly means a lot of steroids. (Actually this is a complain to the art department).

And, oh, yeah, Daft Punk cameo in case you're still wondering which could be the target audience of this subproduct.

No-one's ever really ready for such a piece of Sh*t

If it's an art and essay film, there is not enough art, not to mention essay.

If it is a thriller, there is not enough thriller.

If it is a teenage drama, there is not enough drama, and as far as teenagers are concerned, there is not enough NOFX and too much Nino Rota.

I thought it could be a trailer for Tony Hawk's forthcoming movie, but there is no Tony Hawk, so I guess I'be been cheated: it's not Tony Hawk biopic.

If it's an action movie, it lacks explosions, which would have added some interest to it, or at least would have make jump the sleeping ones into their chairs.

Most of the characters seem to be dead inside, but it's not a zombie movie. In fact, if it is a movie, there is not enough plot. If it is not a movie, it lasts too long to be a music video.

If it's a music video, well... it's an album I will not purchase

I guess it could have been much worse

So... this documentary is part of a thesis? As the movie opens, we are explained that the guy tries to find out, among other questions, why the heavy metal genre is ridiculed or why people laughs at it... and after more than an hour of dumbness, the only answer he finds is "f**k you!". Neato!

If this documentary was a thesis, I hope they flunked him for not knowing that most of his questions were already answered by people much better prepared than him to do so, and in a much more amusing way: "This is Spinal tap"

Grotesque. Anyways you can have some fun watching/listening to some former glories like R.J. Dio or Dee Snider.

This movie is a complete turd, a goddamn pastiche for snobs. How can you make a movie with no budget for actors, landscapes, car pursuits or explosions? take a couple, put them into a room for the entire run, and keep them saying topics on every topic from "look, mommy, I have no Willy" to "this is the meaning of life and death". Let have balls and instead of kitsch theology talk about Heidegger the next time. And the special mention goes to it's spectacular "I would be able to make MTV videos if I wanted to, but i don't" montage.

Whatta poor French cinema imitation!!Pure rubbish!!!!!!

I'll add a couple comments more since IMDb asks me to do so... although I think that it's boring and unnecessary to say that the actors are as charming as a brick is; that the movie is interrupted by a stupid "amateur home musical video clip" in order to promote the latest (Chilean maybe?)radio hit; and that it's pretentious sensibility is absolutely laughable
