Fear Street: 1978 (2021)
Better than the first
The story for this one was amazing!!! I love how they switched from part one to part two, it was so perfect that there was no plothole like the story was consistent throughtout so everything made complete sense unlike the first where a lot of things happened and we were still trying to understand the story and appreciate the characters. It felt like a true RL Stine work i mean considering the thrill and the adventure and the storytelling style which made it much more entertaining to watch and also enabled viewers to connect more with the characters themselves. These were missing in the part one so i didn't find that one interesting. Part 2 on the other hand blew my mindm
So in conclusion they nailed this one.
Shadow and Bone (2021)
Netflix really nailed this one
When I watched the trailer, I wasn't really sure if I was going to like it but when I started watching it I couldn't stop; I binged watched the whole thing in one sitting.
The storyline was great and well structured, the casts were amazing, the action scenes were great (10 out of 10 for me). Great work Netflix!
Invincible (2021)
I thought the storyline wasn't catchy at first but i was wrong
From the very first episode to the 7th, some scenes didn't make sense. I couldn't figure out the direction the story was going because certain events occured and it didn't make sense why they occured. So the whole storyline at that point was pretty much vague to me. What kept me going was the amazing display of action and that's it. Until the last episode ( episode 8) where all the dots finally connected and the story became very clear now. It was then that I realized how good it was and how great it will become.
Carnival Row (2019)
I binge-watched the whole series in one sitting
Even though the series didn't feel like a regular fantasy show, it was surprisingly interesting. At first I thought the faes and the pacts-fantasy creatures- were not needed; what I mean by that was that I felt those roles could have been played by humans but then, I was surprised in the direction they moved those fantasy creatures in the series. In fact taking them out of the story would have destroyed the entire storyline. In all I think it was well done and I was absolutely wrong about the fantasy creatures.
Ava (2020)
I think people really didn't pay attention to the intro which explains the low ratings and discouraging reviews
I am reading people's reviews and I keep seeing people writing"there is no story at all, people fight for no reason, her drunk background is not necessary" and it dawned on me that people skipped the intro. And the part about her drunk background, it contributed much to her story. For crying out loud, her files explain why she joined the military and ended up as an assassin. Her file said she was a good soldier but also a liability because of her behavior and that explains why she was attacked. The Duke was killed in defense of his favorite protege. For Christ sake I can't believe I have to explain this to people-why some events happened in the movie.
If one pays attention, you will realize that the intro gives all the background info there is to know about Ava and the actress did her best to portray these qualities. My point exactly is people perhaps didn't see that part of the movie and therefore couldn't appreciate it. Also if you watched the intro and careful taken your time to read her files, you'll realize that everything adds up. In order words if you skipped that side of the movie, then don't watch the movie at all.

Mulan (2020)
People think it is bad because they wanted it to be like the cartoon but I think that's not enough reason say it is bad
The truth is that, the movie diverged from the cartoon but it doesn't mean it was bad does it? I mean won't you be bored to see the same events as in the cartoons?
I think the story was great, all the characters that were added compliment the story. I love how the plot was built around the main character even though it would have been good to show us a background story of the antagonist and the woman who was fighting along side him. But that's not a plothole because you will get to understand their background story from their conversations.
I have watched the cartoons before but I couldn't hold my tears in the ending part of the movie.

Wentworth (2013)
Never gets boring
This series just gets better each season.
Bae was the center of this series for me the first few seasons until when she was killed and I was like I can't watch this anymore. I thought it was going to get boring but I definitely got that one wrong. It just got better than I had anticipated.

Vis a Vis: El Oasis (2020)
This is absolutely awesome
This series is nothing like what people are saying it is. It is kind of like watching westworld with story-lines played at different timelines simultaneously. My point is that this shouldn't be described as a plothole. This is a style which people aren't familiar with . That doesn't mean it is illogical or disjointed. People are just in the habit of using their phones while watching a series. You might want to reconsider that when watching this one so that you don't miss out anything.
I say this series is awesome and there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. I encourage people to tell us about facts(eg.story-lines playing simultaneously, new characters) before giving their opinions. I say this because everyone interprets things differently that's why you would see positive and negative comments. All I am saying is that people should be given a chance to decide for themselves whether or not they would watch the series rather than making discouraging comments like this is a waste of time.
