while making this movie ?!! no plot-line whatsoever. someone falling in love, getting married and having a baby, husband dieing and then remarrying; is that what u need to watch in a 3 hr long, so called family drama movie ?! John Abraham, as good looking he might be, needs to learn little bit of dancing too if he wants to survive in bollywood; but then i might be wrong.. And Salman Khan definitely needs to learn acting. Rani Mukherjee, Amitabh and Hemamalini are just OK.. Terrible Audio (tune & mixing both). Rani Mukherjee has awesome voice but her expression doesn't match the dialog delivery. wouldn't' recommend this movie to anyone. even to the most bored to death ones !!!

first Bollywood movie on some International Problem

& really awesome one !!! Bollywood doesn't really make lots of movies on theme other than family drama or love or comedy. The maximum deviation that you can find is a very few movies based on domestic terrorism movies. This one definitely stood out than the rest in that regard. A very simple story, yet strong enough to capture the audience till the end. light comedy yet depicting the horror of Afganistan during the Taliban regime, mostly through dialogs. Most of the shootings as per one John Abraham's comment as done in Afganistan, that could justify why there is no Bollywood Actress and hence no typical Hindi songs. Everyone's role is competitive and justifiable. The director could do a better job in showing (through video not narration) of the horrifying past. Most of the shooting appeared to involve very few people in/around a very small mountain range. But hey, this is the first Indian movie as such in this category, so no complain there either :)

misleading title; great movie.

enough has been said already about how good or the thoughtful the movie is, so wont repeat that here.

The only disappointment was the title itself. The name gave me the impression of some real commercial, laugh-n-forget a typical Hindi movie and came out wondering what a great innovative plot to make a movie on. solid thoughtful storyline and yet very comical !!

a very clever job by the director/writer to convey Gandhiji message in a simplest possible way.

Arshad Warsi is hilarious. Sanjay dutt looks old at times.

director could do a better job in portraying these 2 as don, esp in Mumbai real estate market.
