Freddy Got Fingered (2001)
Definitely THE WORST MOVIE EVER MADE
What were they thinking letting this moron make a movie. Its hard to believe, just hard to believe that anything could be that terrible, that stupid. Rip Torn must have been very desperate to sign on for this piece of crap too. Never have I wanted to turn off a movie so badly, thank god I didn't pay money to rent this, just caught it on hbo at night. Saw all the reviews, heard how bad it was, and thought it couldn't possibly be that bad, well it was worse. Tom Green is an idiot, don't EVER let him near a movie again, his career has got to be over with this one. Worst Movie Ever Made, what a waste of the film it was printed on. Somebody lost their job for letting this get made I have no doubt.
Black Hawk Down (2001)
great,very accurate
I have read the story of black hawk down This movie was soo accurate, very graphic and bloody, but you get the feeling it should be.This film pays high honor to the men that lost their lives. A must see.
Swordfish (2001)
Horrible(spoilers,spoilers)
Ok pretty much the whole point of this movie is to play out a little joke at the end that the bad guy can get away in movies. Only, does anyone really want this guy getting away, hes not just bad,hes terrible, jus blowing up innocent people.Hes absolutely horrible. Then at the end they actually try to justify him by saying hes blowing up terrorists so he really was a good guy,not buying it,just the apalling apalling way he valued human life left me with a sad feeling.
Down to Earth (2001)
Funniest movie I've seen in a while.
My fondness for Chris Rock varies with his movies,I hated him after Lethal Weapon 4,but I hated everyone in that movie after it.I like him when he is himself and not holding back, like in Dogma. Well this is his best yet, wasn't expecting this to be that good.Laughed my arse off the whole time. Chris Rock delivers a sweet wonderful story backed by some of the funniest comedy I've seen in quite some time. Loved it.
A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)
Oh my god a masterpeice.
I was expecting this to be a good movie,Kubrick,Speilberg, need I say more. But in fact I was totally blown away by this movie,it moved me. The story of this movie just screams Kubrick from start to finish, and Speilberg brings us into a visually perfect, just perfect beautiful dream. What a wonderful dream.I simply count not beleive the profoundness and depth of this story. And I never had a dought that they were robots at the end,not aliens. Masterpeice.
Cast Away (2000)
Falls little short of a masterpeice.
What would you do if everything you use to make your daily life easier was all taken away. Tom hanks is brilliant.Takes us from a happy workahalic,to the brink of his own insanity. Then a frightened man who doesn't know how to come back. Gave this a 9,only for the ending.I would have liked to know what happed with the woman the package went to.The movie left it up your own judgement. We followed this mans entire adventure, and you don't show us the ending.
