Three filmmakers deliver a quality documentary
29 February 2024
Gripping & touching telling of the failures of the system and cultural practices that aren't just offensive but continuing ruination of the impoverished.

Told in three different episodes, each taking a personal approach to telling real stories about their experiences while living in the state of Texas. Richard Linklater and the Texas Prison system is episode one, Alex Stapleton takes on the Texas Oil industry in episode two, Iliana Sosa tackles the fluidity of life in El Paso's border.

It's not a politically driven documentary, yes it does mention political affiliations because of context but the facts are represented as opposed to political objective.

In my opinion, the filmmakers attempt to open the conversation about the topics that too many turn a blind eye. If only so that we can begin that conversation.

A filmmaker who executed his vision!!

An absolute brilliant effort in cinematography and fight choreography, acting is perfectly adequate marriage with a typical action storyline.

High praise for what is visually presented it's wildly entertaining using creative action that plays comedic while never losing visceral impact.

If you love action films, this is your bag!

Top Shelf Effort to a Under Appreciated Genre

Delving deep into the symbiosis and origin history of "giallo" cinema and the myriad of burgeoning artists that were at the forefront of an entirely different style of filmmaking.

Definitely recommend!

One of the greatest mini series adaptations EVER

So many haters and complaining that clearly comes from ignorant virtues who prefer SyFy productions like Sharknado.

READ A BOOK YOU TROGLODYTES !!

An outstanding cast carries all the nuanced communication with eloquence. It's a slow burn reveal that keeps any intelligent viewer gripped for the entire run.

Highly recommend for those who prefer substance rather garbage.

Stumbled upon this documentary without any prior knowledge. They filmmaker efforts to show the traumatic experience of the victims and the overall fall out of this horrible crime.

Acting & Writing Exceptional

Typical Kaufman genius at play here. You need to connect the pieces and receive character idiosyncrasies as the audiences nourishment. Lots to love within the final product.
