I'm going to go deeper later.

It's true that the basic idea of this movie have lot of potential, but here all is totally wasted and not really explored nor exploited. Pretty much everything like acting, plot, characters, dialogues and climax dynamics stays in shallow water and barely scratch the surface of all the thing.

So this is the tale of the discovery to find and explore new strange and awkward ways to soapy, cheesy and sniveling.

The production is state of the art and the acting too. There is a lot of good here but also unbearable episodes without a real red wire to lead the interest and just a big ocean of whining and hugging.

The old tradition of Star Trek in the secondary and potentially boring episodes was to set up an odd sience issue to resolve mostly in a no harm and no scare, but here if you pick the wrong episode or also in some season ending double episodes you just watch hours of people from the whole universe in a crying ang hugging human clichè.

I frankly don't buy the ground idea of the movie. It seems like a good man is the same as a kind or gentle one. The whole movie is trying to convince the audience that the professor is a good man but he results only like a very stupid one.

It looks like J Blakeson find somehow a good a concept with a good topic but then he miss it completely by develooping it.

Acting and filming aren't that good. In many parts there is no density and everithing dodge to some kind of comedy with no real sense of humor.

Everythig sweats artificiallity and twist.

Nothing really interesting here ... you can empathise with the main carachter only if you live the delusion of living a very stupid life.

Well, this is a big beef to bake movie but it worth the time it takes. The filmmaking and the acting is very great as well with the OST choice. Given that the movie is a little slow or long in some points and It's not an average kind of film for Fatih Akin (if you know his whole work, you'll feel it), but still this is a masterpiece.

I gave it 10 stars 'cause a lot of biased haters that rated it with an impossible 1 star wich doesn't make any sense.

Last but not least the subject is a very difficult and hairy topic that Akin succeeded telling in a very honest as well not offensive story.

The very mistake of this poorly made movie is the dull writing itself. It could be taken only as a 8 years old kid's work.

This is only a waste of time watching what was only a money loundry.

It doesn't even worth to write a review, but just a warning to avoid it and save your time for something better.

I started fresh and blind watching this show and to be honest I got bored pretty soon. Filmmaking and performances aren't the top ... yes you can live with it but it's not so catchy. Nothing is really interesting also thought that the story concept is nothing new. It's the perfect show you can cozy watch while doing houseworks, cleaning, dish washing or having a boring dinner.

I've been laughng to death all the time despite all the intentions of the script. Contempt and despising laughing off is the only way to watch this 108 min long waste of money and work that actually would be more accurate to name as an insulting claim of an historical-religious-sify comedy. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME TRAVEL !!!!

Very good casted and very well written. Filmmaking is young but very good. Kari Matchett is astonishing.
