The Flash: Lockdown (2022)
it's just straight up boring
Literally i don't care. I don't care about goldface. I don't care about this frost chillblaine story. I don't care about chester and allegra's "will they won't they" stuff. I don't care about kramers inconsistent powers. Just give us something we actually want to see please. I'm tired of the predictable boring cliché lines. Also, i'm tired of the goofy music that plays in the background of scenes because it always completely changes the mood. I just didn't care about this episode at all and i'm tired of it.
I just want something like what we had along the lines of the first 3 seasons, that's it. Armageddon was a change of pace and it worked, for me at least. I'm just scared that this whole rest of the season will be like last time where everything was just straight up... boring. And that's disappointing. Bring back the old flash please. Thanks. You're running out of time, as season 9 will likely be the last.
Hawkeye: So This Is Christmas? (2021)
Could use better writing.
Here's what's wrong with it for me. To sum it up, it was lackluster. The dialogue and fight between Yelena and clint was static until like the last 2-3 mins. Just for yelena to forgive clint so quickly and easy. This might not have been possible, but if there was a way to include some sort of proof clint could show yelena that he didn't have at the time, and someone had to send it to him on time to show yelena, it would've made for a better story. This proof would in turn create a goal, which would create tension for the audience. The tension of hoping clint gets the proof to her in time, and fear that yelena wouldn't care anyways. Of course the post credit scene was stupid and i'm glad everyone agrees it was dumb. Kingpin was severely underused in this episode. Something about the script for him seemed... off. He was made out to be this big begging dummy in the end when that's not who he is. They did not do him justice and was so vastly underused for this episode. Truly disappointing. There were way to many jokes in the episode, they took me out of the mindspace i wanted to be in for a finale. The jokes i sort off let by was the conversations between yelena and kate. I like their chemistry and i see that jokes is just how they roll in any situation really, so i enjoyed those moments a little. Clint being stuck in a tree was terrible. I do think it was terrible writing for them to show off screen a gunshot being heard after being pointed at kingpin. Obviously he's not dead and he'll be back but It's really lazy writing and so cliché and obvious. They should've done something else to tease his involvement in the future. Anyways, that's what i hated about this episode.
The Flash: Armageddon, Part 3 (2021)
Last 10 Minutes made this one!
I was going to rate this episode a 7/10 because i found it to be boring and just lackluster, but HOLY COW. The last 10 minutes absolutely saved this episode!! Those last 10 was the best flash content we have had in this show in YEARS! Great action, great acting, and a shocking twist!! I haven't been this excited to see the next episode in so long. If this show continues on this level after the 5 episode event is over, than THE FLASH IS BACK BABY!
The Flash: Armageddon, Part 2 (2021)
The rating for this episodes pisses me off
I'm sorry but this really bothers me to the point where i have to make a review about it. Why in the world is this only rated an 8.2?? People really stay instantly voting 1/10 or 4/10 simply because of their hatred for the show. This episode was the best episode of the flash we have had in a long time, and it's rating is being degraded simply because of people who are full of hatred. Don't get me wrong, i've despised this show for the past 2 seasons, but i've also given each episode fair ratings. This should be at least an 8.8/10. Y'all are so stupid.
Rick and Morty: Gotron Jerrysis Rickvangelion (2021)
Calm down guys
Like cmon y'all it literally wasn't even that bad. I kinda think y'all are over exaggerating it a bit. It was a decent episode.
Superman & Lois: A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events (2021)
Absolutely amazing.
I love this show so much. Writing is amazing and it just looks so damn good! So excited for next weeks episode. Man, this episode was so good. This show has been on a roll ever since it came back from the break and it was definitely worth the wait! Why can't The Flash be like this??
Edit - Just checked and it looks like there is no episode next week and the next one is mid july??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO!! *in darth vader's voice* :(
The Flash: Rayo de Luz (2021)
Love Allegra and Chester but this is just another bad episode.
I have to say that up until this point, this has to be the worst season of The Flash. I cant even believe i'm saying this with season 5 being a thing. It's too late in the season for episodes like this to be happening. I love this show but holy cow this is terrible. Just really disappointed because it can be so much better.
Legends of Tomorrow: Back to the Finale: Part II (2021)
holy cow
Best episode this season! Had some great action and finished up this abducted Sarah storyline in a great way. This episode reminded me why i love this show so much.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch: Cut and Run (2021)
Good solid second episode
The father-daughter dynamic they have going on with Hunter and Omega is really really good. They have the opportunity to learn a whole lot from one another and i'm excited to see how these two characters develop throughout this series. I really like Omega. I don't know how this show has made me so attached to her character in just the second episode, but it's happened and i'm here for it. Excited for episode 3!
The Flash: Growing Pains (2021)
Awesome!
This was a great episode. The pacing and development of killer frost being brought into custody was really good. I was interested the whole episode and was constantly wondering how this would all come down. I really like the addition of Chillblaine! The actor did an amazing job, mad me really interested in his character just from this episode. That fight scene with him and killer frost was great! This episode really established more of a connection to killer frost for the audience. In my opinion, this was one of the best episodes of the season so far, right up there with episode 2! I know some fans might not enjoy this episode because some aren't too keen on killer frost/caitlin, but i hope they can give it a shot and see how good of an episode this really was. Another thing i liked is how Joe was put in a situation of being in the middle of all of the chaos and deciding how to handle things. The side story with Barry and Nora was alright, could've been better. I hope we will see more of Chillblaine soon!
The Flash: The One with the Nineties (2021)
A fun episode.
This episode was quite enjoyable. Glad we got to know more about Chester, i felt like that was really needed. I'm interested to see how this storyline with killer frost goes, which is surprising because even tho i enjoy Caitlyn/killer frost i've never really been interested in their storylines. The one thing that kinda bothers me is that Barry wasn't really in this episode. Like everyone always says, it's called The Flash. We want to see Barry Allen. Another thing that bothers me is that we are constantly seeing the villains get taken down in this show by just talking to them. I get that the team doesn't really have a plan on how to control these new forces just yet, but it's still kinda annoying how they keep talking their villains into being good all of a sudden. Overall, it was a good fun episode.
