Gargantua (1998)
The greatest movie ever made
This is absolutely the best movie I've ever seen, and it's packed with high-tech special effects and top-notch acting. They really succeded in making the lizards movement look natural, especially with the smallest one (just look when it dives into the water, beautiful!)...I hope Spider-man is as good as this!
Festival (2001)
Where's the festival-feeling?
I can sum this movie up pretty good in one sentence: "Overall bad acting, extremly dull story and absolutely no festival precence." The only reason I would want to see a movie about a festival is the memories and stuff you have yourself (you can probably figure out that a movie called "Festival" starring Ebba Hultkvist isn't exactly going to be Dr Strangelove, so I saw it basically because I like festivals). It would have been better if someone who had been to a festival had something to do with the film, it would probably make it a bit realistic. Instead, we're stuck with this s**t. Nope, this movie is not worth it's cool name, that's why me and my friends will record the sequel, "Festival 2" in Roskilde this summer. It will beat this one by far, at least if your into real festivals. Rock on.´
"Festival" get's 2 out of 10
Lilla Jönssonligan på styva linan (1997)
Come on...
...this is one of the most stupid ideas in swedish film-history, making a "junior" Jönssonliga. Well, the story isn't much worse than your regular Jönssonligan-movie, but where is the charm? Not in the movie or in the characters, that's for sure. Ok, I won't slay the kids because there's no need to, but come on, they look lite they come from directly from the last episode of Joel-bitar or something. The acting isn't as horrible as it could be, but it's absolutely not good, except for one character, "Biffen", played by Mats Wennberg. That's f-cking acting. Nope, I think this was one idea they could have put in the bin from the first day. It just doesn't work without the great acting of Gösta Ekman and the others.
