Terrifier 2 (2022)
Impressive story for gore flick
Art came back and proved his twisted personality with terrifier 2. Wanna watch an over length , 80s style slasher ? But gory to the max??? This is for you. Acting is all on point, hope to see a Terrifier 3 but a lot sooner than 6 years lol. I have a feeling that Art is the father of the main characters in this film since their dad isn't anywhere to be seen as well as there happens to be references that seem to point towards that. Even tho we don't get any actually clarity on that. Hope to see this become the next successful franchise in the horror genre! Would be nice to have this playing in Canadian theatres but I was able to stream it today. MAKE MORE ART THE CLOWN content!
Orphan: First Kill (2022)
Solid prequel
Really great prequel, Isabelle Furman and Julia Stiles are one heck of a solid team ! It's nice to see good movies filmed in Winnipeg, I didn't know what to expect with this film but I really enjoyed it! Be sure to watch Orphan (2009) before this film!
Wrong Turn (2021)
Why did the writer remake his own movie?
The original wrong turn from 2003 was amazing.
I don't know why Alan McElroy decided to remake this film. Weird. I didn't like this version. It would have been nice to see the original remade and not rewritten.
The Ring (2002)
Only film to ever scare me
This film is amazing, I saw it in theatres when I was 10 on opening day with my mom. We both had no idea what we're about to watch lol. We had figured it was something possibly like the lord of the rings or something, anyway, got home after this film and I slept with the lights on for almost a year lmao. The scene where you see the chick dead in the closet scared me, her face psychologically messed with me, also samara coming out of the TV also terrified me long term. I'll always love this movie for having been able to truly scare me. Wish I could get that experience again from another film but I've never had that happen since the first time I saw the ring.
House of Wax (2005)
House Of Wax was my favourite film for years
This was my number one horror movie for years, I got to see it opening day in theaters with my older brother back in may 2005. I absolutely love the storyline, epic motifs, solid acting with a pretty decent cast. The entire concept of this movie gets me going! The Paris Hilton death is iconic. Vincent's mask looks super epic for a slasher serial killer vibe. I loved House Of Wax!
Chucky (2021)
Horrible acting and even worse effects
Season 2 is shaping up to become a solid show. I'm much happier with season 2 than the first !
13 Fanboy (2021)
Acting is good, story is good.
I'm impressed for a fan film. Good work to everyone who took part ! I hope we can get a sequel in the near future! And have more big Friday cast names join in again.
Cosmic Sin (2021)
Not impressed
Just a terrible film. Aliens sucked, part zombie. Watch if you want to waste your time!
