Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket (2016)
Poor acting but a nice setting.
I thought the setting on Nantucket was very picturesque the story is about a vacationing girl who's there for the summer, I thought the leading actresses was good most of the male actors where quite weak and the burglars where particularly poor and the movie would have been better if their part were cut out completely.
Home Alone 3 (1997)
Poor film just to get to lots of traps
This movie has nothing to do with the first two movies, except the very beginning of the movie they very briefly use John Williams's music.
The movie opens up with the robbers and you're introduced to them for the first scenes. Then they get back to Chicago (no reason why that city) and then you have the boy Alex who calls the police twice and they escape so he does what you expect in a Home Alone and sets of the traps *worth noting his parents are home at the time that he sets the traps so he's not really Home Alone but has to stay home because he's Ill*.
The traps lack imagination and they're mainly just coped from the first one but slightly different scenarios. I think this isn't really a movie for adults I have watched the movie and kids seem to find it funny so it might work for them.
Scrooged (1988)
Scrooged
This is an excellent film with a strong cast. Bill Murray plays a TV executive who's got a mean spirited attitude and is tought the errors of his ways as he's visited by ghosts. It's a charming film that gives you a positive feeling at the end.
The Princess Diaries (2001)
Nice film with good leading actresses
Princess Diaries is the story of a high school girl who finds out she is a Princess of a country she never knew of. It has a good cast (some are a little one dimensional) and clearly one is only there to sing a song at one point. It left me feeling that high school was a miserable experience and full of mean people but Julie Andrews is delightful and I think Ann Heathway plays her role well and you do feel happy for her in the end.
